Veloworks Urban Cyclery

Veloworks supports my CIBA cycling club and I am very grateful for that! Andre is a super cool dude and does a great job helping people out and running the shop He recently added a coffee bar and hang out /​study area that is well laid out and comfortable. There were quite a few people in there socializing and online having a great time! He also fields a few racing teams too! Great shop for all kinds of riders, especially urban and commuters!

If you rock the man bun, sport a ravishing beard, feel that flannel is always in season and love to cruise the town a top two wheels: and heck, even if you don’t Veloworks is THE bike shop for the urban and casual cyclist.
Unlike many bike shops around the city, at Veloworks you won’t find high end tri bikes loitering around the shop, but instead will find cruiser bikes and gear to provide you a case ride through the city and around town: including kitty litter growler carriers (I will take 2 please).
They are crazy friendly and super helpful in answering my «novice rider» questions.
Be sure to pick up a map of the bike routes in the city and other informational materials on traveling the city on two wheels.

Changed an inner tube on my wife’s bike in 5 min ‘flat’. The guys were friendly, give them a try! They sell cool t-​shirts too.

Great Place. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. So many bike shops treat casual riders with some disdain. Not here.
The retail and shop work well together and are very cost conscious. The replacement parts appear to be of good quality but also at reasonable and sometimes low prices.
The shop doesn’t carry high end prebuilt bikes but there is plenty here for the casual rider.
They also excel at items for the urban rider. Really cool baskets, racks, locks and lights.
Being so good comes with it’s own challenges. The shop was really backed up when I needed tires replaced. They were very upfront about the back log of work and helped me have realistic expectations for a completion. I decided to do the work on my own and they were cool about it. Of course, it took me 2 hours and I pinched a tube in the process. My hope is that next time our schedules will match for service.

These people rock. I was in and out with a fresh seat in five minutes. Check them out!

Way cool bike sales and repair shop in Fountain Square. Super friendly and helpful staff, very reasonable prices. (I am not sure where you park your car, though…)

Stopped by for some maintenance on my road bike. They did a great job with the repair, fair prices, and very knowledge about biking in the area. Seemed to have a nice selection of bikes there as well. Great to have a bike shop in Fountain Square right on the Cultural Trail.
