Good dive bar with an eclectic crowd and a good local draft selection.

My kind of place! It is a small dive bar in Fountain Square and has been there for several years. They have a good selection of local craft on tap and in bottles and also have your normal domestics available. The drinks are well priced and we love the atmosphere. Their pizza is GREAT and I highly recommend it!

Great neighborhood bar hung out here years ago but quit when it became a dart bar. Just on dart board now new porch back to the old original vibe. Neighborhood has come around so even better here now. Need to stop by and grab a pint as they have a good tap selection now. Bar has widows and is a great stop for a little day drinking and then grab you a cone from the old school dairy queen walk up across the street.

This is the kind of bar I was not looking for, but simultaneously was hoping to find. We stumbled upon this bar on a Saturday night and I know this is a place I will find myself at many more times in the future. It has a cozy, at home feel, somewhere you feel instantaneously like a regular. It’s in the center of so much, yet it’s just right off the beaten path-making it the perfect location. Near so much, but not so near that it gets overwhelmingly crowded. Great, friendly, yet casual service. They have darts, a jukebox, and free popcorn. Although they don’t have an extensive draft list, they have a good selection of local brews at a great price. If the popcorn doesn’t hold you over, they have pizza, and if you stop in for lunch they have mid day specials on it. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Had heard about the yummy pizza. And it definetly was delicious! Real mozzarella and great flavor sauce. Will go back with more friends, for more pizza!!! Atmosphere is crazy cool like your back street college sports collage bar. Yep, ;)

I’ll start off by saying that this place isn’t my style of bar. It’s more of an aesthetics issue for me. Now I’m not saying the place isn’t cool! It is covered in sports illustrated covers and has nice seating. The pizza is good and cheap. You usually only get either good or cheap. They carry good beer for sure. The employees are very very nice and welcoming. You can start a friendly conversation with just about anyone that walks in and have fun. What an all around good place to spend an evening. If you like good beer and atmosphere then come try this place out please.

Visited the Silver Circle last weekend for the first time. Talk about getting a bang for your buck. The beer is cheap, and nearly everyone was friendly :) Service was alright, but you can’t expect the world when you show up late and are the only ones on the patio. The owner, Scott, and his father, Buck, were extremely personable and sat down with us for a couple drinks. I must say, I love that kind of friendly atmosphere. We split the stuffed breadsticks and a small sausage pizza between three of us. The breadsticks were to die for. The pizza was meh and loaded mostly with cheese. All in all, it was a fun stop. Love getting to know the people around Indy and this was definitely the spot for that!

$ 2.75 for a 12 oz PBR and a douche bag Karaōke DJ, no thanks. Not worth the time, best Karaōke in Ft Sq is DJs Lounge. This place is lame as hell.

This review is for the 20 to 30-somes who live in north FS, but don’t want to risk anything by choosing a walk to Sam’s over the booming Fountain Square. Sam’s Silver Circle(say that 10 times fast) makes me both happy and sad. I moved down the road 2 weeks ago and have been too many times since, but continue to be drawn back as its around the corner compared to a 10 minute walk(lazy, I know) to Fountain Square. My first 3 experiences can best describe what to expect for the Sam’s environment: *1st day: Show up with dog on Monday night and sit on the patio where a couple of cool and friendly people a few years older than me are hanging out. One of which was obviously a regular and got Luca a water bowl. Inside was an older bartender, an older«made in fountain square» woman smoking an e-cig at the bar by herself, and a table of 3 – 460+ year-olds in for pizza. Other than a few solo randoms, that was it in 2 – 3 hours. *2 nights later: It’s around 2am Wednesday night after a few hours of biking with friends and the place is bumping with trendy millennials dancing, half a dozen bikes chained around the building, and good vibes everywhere. Somehow the local bar around the corner went from a hometown hole-in-the-wall to the cool underground hangout off the beaten path(that is actually at a semi-popular intersection) *3 To add to the random mix, the night after that(Thursday) was packed front to back with 30ish-50ish year olds drunk playing trivia. Pros: Cool interior/overall visuals, cheap beer, same 3 staff rotate, pizza, cheap beer, social environment, decent sized covered patio, and cheap beer. Cons: No table service(they might bring your pizza and first drink), but after that it’s all you finding that one staff member Random crowd So much unfulfilled potential that it’s a con My biggest complaint is that the other nights are so dead it’s disappointing, but the complete random crowds is all-in-all a cool thing even though it’s still a con. I should also mention the pizza is about a 6⁄10 and there aren’t a ton of options. Don’t expect anything special, but it’s definitely not some frozen tostitos from walmart. I hope to see this place grow into that cool off-the-beaten path hangout I saw on Wednesday, but everyday. Check it out. Bring your friends. Say hi to the tan guy on the patio with the all-white Siberian Husky.

For two years I lived down the road from this place and it was my go to bar. They gave it a bit of a facelift but it still has that neighborhood feel. Beers are fairly priced and staff is nice. The pizza is not great. I dont know why people keep saying that. But it is still pizza so I ate it often.

Staff was super friendly. We went for trivia on Thursday the place was packed. We would have preferred more bar food options but it was affordable and had no complaints on beer or breadsticks

I really enjoy this neighborhood bar. They have a couple local craft beers on tap as well as the usual macrobrews. Their pizza isn’t anything special but it’s decent and cheap. They do carryout pizza and dine in. If you live in Fountain Square, you’re pretty much guaranteed to run into neighbors here. They attract a good mix of ages, and kids are allowed in the back area and outside. The only reason I dropped it down to four stars is because I’ve had beers here before that have clearly been on tap too long. Come on guys, drink the Wee Mac with me before it gets stale and flat!

After 30 minutes of being introduced to Silver Circle I thought to myself«I wish I knew if this place sooner.» The bartenders are extremely helpful(portion wise too) and the atmosphere is unlike any other within Indianapolis. FYI: when you start looking at the walls don’t become too antisocial becoming immersed with the memorabilia. It’s truly a hidden gem.

Silver Circle recently had a huge makeover. They are making moves here. The new back patio is clutch. The craft beer selection is growing which is important to me. They have Chilly Waters on tap which is a cool new brewery in the neighborhood. This place is an Indianapolis landmark.

The wife and I stopped in here on a Saturday night as a friend was playing live music. The entrance was in the back through the small attached parking lot. The inside reminded me of an old sports bar with old license plates and magazines all over the walls. It was very bright inside which I thought improved the atmosphere. There were a few tables against the wall opposite the bar and around 6 or 7 stools at the bar. I saw earlier reviews mention minimal tables and a lot of dart boards. When we stopped in there was only one dart board and tables all along the walls. I don’t know if they brought out the tables just because they had live music that night or if that is how it is now. The bar was fully stocked with about 10 or so taps ranging from PBR to craft beers. They were running a special that night where craft beers were only $ 3.75. Sign me up! I did not partake in any of the pizza as we had just come from dinner elsewhere, but a lot of people ordered it and it smelled delicious. They had plenty of seating in outdoor covered area where everyone mingled after the show was over. It is your typical dive bar feel and the mix of people the night we were there was crazy. The bar had a very cool vibe. One last note: I can’t get over how nice the ladies working there were! They were truly awesome and provided great service. I am going to have to stop in and try the pizza the next time we are in the area.

Dropped in here with some friends on a whim as we were passing by. The décor reminds me of an old school neighborhood sports bar that used to be popular in the 70’s and 80’s. Needless to say, I kinda of dug it. They serve liquor and a range of tap beers that ran the gamut from PBR to several local micro’s. As for the food, they have pizza and pizza bread. On this night I got some pizza bread(comes with 2 toppings and could feed 2 people) and washed it down with a couple of PBR’s(my slumming beer) for only $ 10(they now take cc’s). Damn that pizza bread was good. This place is kinda of awesome. I’ll be back.

This place has a cool vibe. Like your cool uncle that always was slugging back Budweisers while watching the game, or what John Belushi could have been. Went to get carryout, and they didn’t have the greatest selection, but it was close. I’ve got to say, the pizza cooking smelled great and there is hella construction going on right now. This place can only get better. Trivia on Thursdays!

Local friendly location not far off Fountain Square. They sell pizza and have a full bar. The inside is old, and they use a multitude of license plates, road signs, and realtor signs as decoration. The main entrance room contains a multitude of dart boards — which draws the dart leaguers for blind draws and tournaments. The dart boards take up most of the area, so seating is extremely limited. My girlfriend and I had never been there and we were meeting another gal pal who was in a tournament. We got major looks upon stepping foot in the place — don’t fit in? I guess we were obviously newcomers. Everyone was friendly, but I got that feeling like I really didn’t fit in too much. The bar is primarily beer — they have local brews as well — and a selection of liquor. They had Pinnacle varieties so I was able to live! They currently only take cash, but my friend informed me that they will be moving to credit shortly. BTW my friend painted the mural on the outside — very cool! I only gave 2 stars mainly for the lack if seating and cash only. The place is friendly, but nothing special. If I lived close, I would go back but I’m not going to make a special trip or anything.
