Del Taco

I absolutely love Del Taco and beyond upset they don’t have one in New York. Taco Bell exists, so why don’t you Del Taco?!
I just kept ordering and ordering. The person taking my order at the drive thru kept thinking my order was done but nahhh she just kept repeating my order cause I kept adding food. She did a great job suggesting the epic chicken burrito and I ordered it. Absolutely delicious filled with slices of avocado, chicken and tons of other goodies.
Del Taco is not real mexican food. It is mexican fast food but I don’t care because it is just that good. The strawberry lemonade for 1 $ is just the best.
I will be back for more Del Taco!

Food is ok — you get what you pay for. Prices are cheap. The drive thru is always long and slow — but the staff always friendly.

This place is horrible. Ordered at drive thru and had to repeat my order over 5 times a day they still never got it correct. Called and spoke to a man and before finishing talking he handed the phone to someone else. She then asked are you ordering something. Are you serious they need to learn to listen and not be so quick to interrupt someone. Also they need better training. I would give them a 0. Horrible customer service, restaurant not clean, and so much more.

Needed a quick lunch and Del Taco is usually good… but the one in Indio is just ok.
We ordered 2 fish tacos with no sauce but one came with extra sauce? The French fries were cold when we got them so I asked for fresh-​even if I had to wait. Food getting cold… The shrimp tacos were normal-​ok. Then the manager (?) gave us the new fries-​and STILL cold. Luckily, Reyna was on the ball, and got the fresh, hot ones that weren’t in the tray yet.
But they do have great fries when hot.

I love Del Taco, but this location has been out of mild sauce on all 3 of my visits to Indio! 6 months apart and always out of mild sauce? That’s like Mc Donald’s being out of ketchup! Ridiculous.

Thanks for charging for guacamole but not including it, awesome. Next time we’ll spend a few more bucks and go to alkobar. Love how quick you guys are to charge people but can’t spend the extra 5 seconds to slap a little guac on some burritos, and it wasn’t even busy!

Had a great experience. The cashier was the MOST friendly del taco employee I have ever seen. He didn’t look like he hated his job. Very clean cut looking kid. His name was Kyle. Too bad this location is in Indio and we live in Palm Springs!

First del taco we have been to. Service was slower than other fast food places, sat in drive thru window for 5 minutes (that’s extremely slow for fast food). Taco and fried cheesecake were below average… wouldn’t go back to del taco, if I want that level of Mexican fast food, I prefer taco bell.

Their service has improved with the remodel of the restaurant. Their staff is very friendly and precise on their orders. If you want Del Taco in Indio choose this one over the one next to McDonald’s

This Del Taco gets 4 stars because it is the most modern, cleanest, and best run Del Taco I have ever been in. Did I also mention that its the ONLY Del Taco I’ve seen with a salsa bar???
The food is no better or worse than any other Del Taco I have ever been to, no suprise there, but you get what you expect. Americanized, Fast, Mexican Food.

DEL TACO was in easy walking distance of the courthouse in INDIO where i was stuck for a couple days on a civil case. didn’t have much time for lunch so dashed across the street for a quick bite.
if i had it to do over again, i would have put in a little more effort and hiked down the street. the BAJA SHRIMP BURRITO was just nasty. shrimp were freezer to fryer (no real surprise there) and had the same chew as one of those hard doggie toys you get at PETCO to manage canine tarter. since i brush my teeth regularly, that particular benefit was lost on me …
when you have a «captive audience» (the daily juror pool) that you only see once, i guess you don’t have to serve food that brings ‘em back ’cause tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that they’re just gonna be new ones anyway.

For some reason this Del Taco makes their food better than all the other ones I’ve been to. YUM!

Taco bell has nothing on Del Taco. They have great tacos and better hot sauce. If you don’t feel like tacos maybe a burger or chilling cheese fries. Yea they have all that. Great selection of food for low prices. Which is always good at 2 or 3 in th morning

Del Taco food like always. Love it every once in a while. This place has been around forever, and never had any problems.

Tb was craving for tacos with crunch tortilla… since there is a lot of this franchise in the area… might as well try it. We got the macho sizes and their cheap at $ 1.79. After a long day its always nice to finish off with a filling meal.

Why am I writing a review about Del Taco? Well, because I’ve never eaten at a Del Taco prior to this visit. I figured that it would be similar to Taco Bell so I never bothered before. However, in Indio, there aren’t many choices when you’re hungry and a hundred miles away from home.
Indio is probably as gangster as it gets. I’m talking about 4 year-​olds wearing plaid and sporting facial tattoos. It’s the kind of town where you don’t obey stop signs.
Anyway, I ordered the 2 fish taco combo and 2 $.59 tacos on the side. The tacos weren’t half bad. But for Indio, this would be a viable option for me. Would I eat at Del Taco again? Yes, I actually tried the chicken soft taco later that night when I was in Riverside. Now that tasted like Taco Bell.
A top option as a last resort…
