I work right down the street from the old Oasis Thrift Store! This was an excellent source of furniture for our office. Anytime I needed a desk, table, chairs, I went to Oasis. I told friends and family about this place and they agreed. They have great furniture for great prices. I am really disappointed to find out after 20 years in Old Town Indio, they have moved! ;(

I was in the area recently for a quinceneria and after the ceremony my friends and I decided to hit all the thrift shops in Indio. I forgot about the 1st Saturday of the month ½ off sale that Oasis Thrift Shop has been having now for what seems to be FOREVER! So, I scored. I have to disagree with Penny R. about the«overpriced knick knacks» only because everything is DIRTCHEAP! I know I am a bargain shopper and I will dish out money if I find the item to be worth it! Lets just say that I walked out with a garbage bag FULL for only $ 9 and some change. Vintage purses and clutches starting at $ 1.91 and then half off of that price STEAL! I also found some cool jackets and dresses. My favorite purchase out of all the thrift shopping that I had done that weekend would be this dope ass snow colored 80’s shirt dress that exudes Diana Ross all over it. Sounds lame but it’s sexy as «F»… Note: if you want to find good stuff on these ½ sales you gotta get here early! I was stoked that I found what I did.
