Finally my Raza comes through with some top notch grub! One of the best hole in the wall restaurants I’ve been too in a while however, the food here is really, really good! It’s most defently smalll nothing fancy however, this is my kind of joint. Admittedly, I adore hole in the wall restaurants because, they always seem to give generous portions and the chiefs are well skilled an, underrated! I do wish, Taco stands were allowed to operate here in California, the way they do in Mexico. But with the health department hovering like the grade police with their ABC’s and 123s that will never happen!!! lol… Oh Well, they got their grades we got Unilocal!Viva la Raza! I order — 5 rolled Tacos with Asada 5:95 $ — 1Cheese queseda 3:45 $ — Mexican coke 1:80 $ The rolled Tacos are made of handmade corn tortillas that are light, crunchy, and soft to the touch. The meat is seasoned with salt and pepper and marinated with orange juice, lime, onion and cilantro. With every savory bite, all those delicious flavors explode in your mouth. It’s topped with sour cream, avocado, an a generous amount of chopped pieces of asada. It’s absolutely insane but so good and, that’s street vendor influence. Now, the perfect Quesadilla for a Mexican like me is to use real Mexican cheese like Queso de Oaxaca, Cotia, Chihuahua, an Asadero. These types of cheeses can only be found in small quantities in central and south america in the land of the Aztecs where, Quetzalcoatl shall return and lead my people back to the promise land or at least, treat us to a shot of tequila and mariachis! Alanbertos doesn’t use Mexican cheese but it’s still good! I’ll have to hand it Alanbertos because, the Quesadilla was bomb! It’s made with a fresh handmade flour tortilla, and sharp cheddar cheese. There’s nothing like fresh handmade tortillas the aroma and light slightly puffy dough is so good it melts in your mouth. The Sharp cheddar is not my particular favorite however, it’s gooey chedderness ozeing out the sides of the tortilla taste pretty delicious an, is huge. I’m fat so, I ate it all up! Alanbertos has some good salsa. As I’ve explain before no self-respecting taqueria uses cheap processed ingredients like they use at Taco caca bell. The best taqueria and restaurants in Mexico master salsas because, salsas are like wine different versions for certain cuisine. If you sit down at any proclaimed Mexican restaurant and that salsa sucks, you can be sure so will the meal. That being said Alanbertos offers 3 salsas. (1) The first one is a dark red(high heat) with roasted Chipotle and habanero heat. Not bad an it’s slightly hot(to me) (2) Is a green chili.(Medium heat) with roasted green Tomatillos, jalapeño chiles and roasted garlic. Good taste and season pretty good. (3) last one is some weak tomato sauce concoction that’s not even worth mentioning. Overall: A really good place to get something filling to eat. The portions are generous, the taste is excellent, and the priceing is reasonable! Definitely one of my new favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!

I always get the carne asada fries here I’ve never tried anything else. Can’t complain they are good. They actually use real guacamole and not just a green sauce imitation. The horchata is always on point and the service can be slow sometimes since they don’t have a speaker on the drive thru and you have to order at the window.

I love the burritos they are so long and big I recommend it. They also have really good tacos and they have the best red salsa.

Delicious food. Great friendly service. They refilled my jamaica for free when I went in the drive through. The restaurant name is ALBREDOS not Alanbertos

It’s a really small place that can easily be overlooked. I decided to stop by today and I went by the drive thru, service is good and pretty fast. I ordered fish tacos and carne asada fries. The fish tacos are such a big portion which is great and they’re tasty! I have yet to try the fries but they smell delicious and I’m sure I’ll like them since everyone else seems too lol

5 stars for what it is: fast food Mexican. It’s not a restaurant that gives you chips and salsa while you wait. I’ve never stepped food inside. it’s drive thru for me. It’s about a mile away from where I live, satisfies my taco/burrito/super nachos cravings every time. For reference: It’s 1 of my 2 favorite places for fast Mexican food in this area. My other fave place is el bukanas on Azusa. :)

This place is terrible! Don’t eat here. I got the super fries the portion was so small and it didn’t taste like anything. My bf had to drown it in hot sauce. I got the carne asada burrito which was also lacking flavor. The meat was cut to thick and I have to spit out the fat every time I took a bite. I stopped eating it after a few bites because I got grossed out. Just yuck I don’t know what happened to place because it use to be good. Totally wasted $ 18 today very disappointed in this place now. I won’t be returning at all.

I DONOTKNOW what happened today in regards to the quality of the food served! It was a complete turn around from my last experience. Today I ordered the combo, 1 enchilada, 1 tostada with the rice and beans, I wanted shredded beef, and she charged me $ 1.50 extra for it to be on «both»…Wth? So am I supposed to get only one with some kinda meat in there and the other one with lettuce? I also got the Carne Asada burrito for my man, and the meat was VERYBLAND/FLAVORLESS! When I started to dig in my meal, the first thing I noticed is… I couldn’t tell what was what. the presentation of the meal was SLOPPY! the beans at the bottom, LETTUCE eveywhere! Not only on the tostada. I hate onions, and totally forgot to tell them NOONIONS. When I stuck my fork in I had a mouth full of grilled onions… YUCK! NOSHREDDEDBEEFATALL!!! It was FILLEDWITHONIONS, JALAPENOS… ANDTHATWASIT! I literally had maybe 1, okay lets say 2 good chunks of beef. the rice was very HARD, like uncooked hard. the beans were room temp. their was like 10 strands of cheese. the Tostada chip was STALE!!! ITWASCOMPLETELYINEDIBLE!!! I was starved and tried to eat it but COULDNOT! I TOSSEDIT. I won’t be revisiting! Waste of a $ 10 meal. the only pro is the chick wasn’t stingy with the amount of sauce they give.

This small restaurant has been around for(maybe 12+?) years. I’ve always passed by it and i live nearby. after reading positive reviews here i decided to try it out. I tried the 2x, Cheese, enchiladas plate combination. It was covered in «red sauce», rice, beans, sliced lettuce and comes with a drink for $ 7.10+. Tasted pretty good. Would be nice if the red sauce could be a tad spicier and they use mozzarella instead of cheddar cheese for the enchilada. I had horchata and it was way too sugary sweet i ended up not drinking it. They close late at 11PM and they serve breakfast. Not sure when they open. Also they might not accept credit cards since i did not see a terminal for it.(I will verify this on my next update) Parking is difficult around this restaurant, so if its full i would just do drive through/takeout. I’m definitely coming back to try out their other dishes and will post an update.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite a while now when it was still«Alanbertos.» It took me so long to finally visit this place that they changed the restaurant’s name to «Rolbertos» but that obviously did not stop me from visiting. While gazing through the large menu, I glared straight at the«Burritos» section because that’s how I roll. Their burritos are very decent priced or may even be slightly cheaper than other eateries similar to this. I ordered the Chile Relleno Burrito and it wasn’t bad. It turned out as expected, cheese oozing out of the chile after each bite(Dayum). On the other hand, the Super Fries were good. The quality of the carne asada was good too and surprisingly was not fatty. The Super Fries also comes with a drink which makes it well worth the $ 8. Service is decent. They also seem to be prepared when it comes to dealing with the cars idling in the drive-thru. They just move you on to the second window which is located on the opposite side of the first window.(Haha) Overall, Rolberto’s is worth visiting if you live no where near an Alberto’s or any other Bertos. I’m definitely coming back for more fatty, greasy goodness.

I finally found a place for pollo asado burritos close to home! This place is pretty easy to find but hard to enter if you’re trying to enter their drive through. If you’re approaching on Valley from Fullerton you can enter easily but if you’re coming from Azusa you’ll have to bust a u-turn off of Giano and come back around to Valley(there’s no u-turn on Giano go figure). There’s limited parking in the back that can be accessed from Valley or Giano. The burritos are about five bucks and come filled with your choice of meat, sour cream, guacomole, pico de gallo and lettuce. The pollo asado is flavorful. I didn’t find the burrito too oily either but there was excess juice from the pico de gallo. They also provide you with red and green salsa upon request. I’m definitely coming back to satisfy my pollo asado cravings!

I can only rate my few short experiences here. Staff was always friendly. Always come here with at least one other person to split the super fries and maybe a quesadilla. Well worth it. Horchata is delicious as well.

Pricy and terrible. I was glad when I found this place, since I yearned for something I experienced in SD and even in Riverside… Sadly, Alanbertos was worse than Albertos and Santanas. the carne asada fries were terrible both times I got them. I tried to like this place. I gave Alanbertos two chances and every time I ended up being disappointed. If you’re craving carne asada nachos/fries or Cali burritos, take the extra couple of miles to get better food. if it’s too far then feel free to settle for less for more $

I feel bad for the guy who had three bad experiences, but I’m happy with the four times I’ve been here. Super fries de asada: I like the addition of pico de gallo. Add some red sauce and you got a pretty good tasting artery clogger. Chimichanga de asada: huge and pretty tasty. I’m used to the frozen kind, so yeah lol. I only ordered this cause of the episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia made me want some chimichangas. Four mini tacos de adobada: I don’t even know what adobada is, but that shit was pretty damn good. Use of guacamole was nice and it actually had flavor, so it wasn’t too watered down. Pretty oily though, but fast mexican food is usually oily. Not a big deal. And I’m almost certain it’s deep fried so yeah… no shit it’s gonna be oily. I usually come here at night and only go through the drive-thru; there’s a girl who works the window and she’s cool. Good service every time I’ve been there. Also, my buddy loves the Tepache(pineapple cider), it’s in a bottle. I guess that’s gonna be a must try!

YES! Finally a place to get some good Carne Asada Fries and Cali Burritos near my house. Before I would have to drive at least 20 minutes to satisfy my craving. This place is relatively cheap, the most expensive item is probably $ 8. Definitely check it out, they just opened recently so not that many people know about this place.
