Despite the place being in a shopping center where all the stores look the same this place stands out… The food was delicious! Got the chicken enchilada place that came with retried beans, rice, and a side of lettuce… The soda was Mexican coke that tasted great. Will definitely be coming back

I only went here once in search of decent tacos and despite being in a shady looking plaza, the tacos were not bad. I could tell they don’t use lard on the tortilla, which I sorta appreciated. The green sauce wasn’t very good imo, so I had to rely on the red one. Cheap, decent tacos here, but the crummy, dingy interior will limit the rating to 3 stars.

By definition… «hole in the wall» is a small, very modest, unpretentious, often out of the way place… now, throw in «cheap awesome tacos!» and you’ve got La Princesa Taqueria! I stumbled across this place a few months ago and have been stopping by for lunch at least a half dozen times since.
They’ve got the usual assortment of tacos, burritos, tortas and even sopes. I’ve only had the tacos but they’ve been too damn tasty EVERY single time. You can choose from carnes asada, pastor, chicken, buche, chorizo and cabeza. You gotta try a chorizo taco and also the buche… yeah that’s right… pig esophagus… go ahead and try one… a little pig esophagus never hurt nobody… I don’t think… Anyways, what else ya gonna do with your $ 1.08?! Sadly… no beer here… so grab an ice cold coke in a bottle or take your food to go! The wife even got a carne asada sope from here and ate it all up! so it can’t be ALL bad =)
Now, don’t let the location fool ya… the run down strip mall and Azusa Swap Meet may not be the most inviting place to spend your lunch… but…c’mon…live a little! try something new! And if you’re feeling REEEALLY adventurous… check out the condom vending machine in the bathroom and «experience a galaxy of pleasure» ha! that thing cracks me up… not sure if it even functions… seriously, I don’t!
