Big 5 Sporting Goods

I was quite impressed with the staff at this location! Very friendly and customer service oriented. I had frantically called about a tent I saw online to make sure they had it in stock for a last minute camping trip. I was so stressed out I forgot to have them hold it for me. A staff member was kind enough to set it aside for me. They really hooked it up. Thank you!

Entire staff greeted me and Iris was very helpful with providing me with football cleats for my son. Will definitely be going back for other sport supplies.

No one in this store has a brain and if they do it’s the size of dust. Ok wait I take that back, the security guard has a brain! So my fam and I walk in head to the back for soccer shoes. Ok fine a guy comes out I show him the shoes and he heads in the back to get them and while doing so he forgot to bring my shoes out twice. ok fine we get the shoes now on to the shinguards. They were on sale and had to be verified b/​c the incompetent cashier couldn’t find the space to haul ass from behind the counter to see the sale price. So I pay for the shoes and shingurds BUT my shin-​guards arent in my bag b/​c magically, they weren’t on sale anymore AFTER I was billed for the sale price. So they expected me to pay extra $ after I received my receipt. I walked out and let my hubby handle it cause u can’t charge a customer after u already billed them a certain price. Inglewood peeps DO NOT give this Big 5 your business!!!

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon only 1 other customer was in the store. I could hear employees laughing in the back room. I couldn’t find a glove. I saw a few others but they had them stocked higher and nothing was organized. I went to ask the cashier for help by this time she was ringing up the only other customer. She paged it over the system we waited and nobody came. I was at your location for over 20 minutes and didn’t get acknowledged. As I walked out empty handed another employee was next to the cashier & still didn’t offer assistance. I left your location and went to the Big 5 off El Segundo. They welcome you as you walk in! Ended up purchasing additional items recommended by very helpful employees

Walked up in this piece because I had a coupon for 20% off when you purchase 4 items. It’s a good thing I’m getting back into shape post surgery on my torn ACL because the items I purchased came at a steal!
After several minutes of searching and associate came and checked on me to see if I needed help which I did. The selection here is bare minimum but at least I was able to purchase everything I needed with ease. The establishment has security inside as well as air conditioning which is essential on hot socal days like today.
Overall purchase was supposed to be $ 100+ but with sales that they had and my coupon, my total was $ 80. Nice deal!!!
Anyways, this is the closest Big 5 to me and I’ve upgraded them with 4 stars compared to my previous 3 star rating.

Came in today to buy swim cap. Employees were helpful. I was greeted by 3 employees. They had everything I needed. Good visit

This is a small store but it’s really well stocked. Everyone was REALLY helpful and made shopping fun!

Came in here looking for some new cleates and shin guards for my daughter for the new soccer season. This Big 5 is the smallest one I’ve seen and could use a little fixing up. The staff was very helpful and the manager was very tentative also. I found what I was looking for and was in and out within 20 minutes. It was not crowded which was good but the parking sucks because it’s all metered on the street so bring your quarters.

Was here early on Memorial Day picking up some tactical gear, the staff were very courteous and friendly being that early in the morning. I think maybe because on the holiday pay they will be receiving and the store may not be busy today, Oh Yeah parking can be a problem if you do not have any quarter’s 2hrs. 2dollars quarter’s only. Ingelewood parking control give out tickets like there is no tomorrow.
