Good apple cobbler and chocolate cake but the customer service is absolutely horrible! There are plenty of great bakeries in the Los Angeles area. It’s a shame because I really want to support businesses in my neighborhood but this will not be one of them.

KEYLIMEPIE is amazing! This would be a 5 star rating but everytime I buy a whole pie, its frozen! I probably wouldn’t mind of they would inform me ahead of time so I could buy slices instead.

In general I like the products produced from this place. But my comment is specific to the cobblers. In a nutshell, they need a little more flavor. When I eat some I can’t help but to think of a diet cobbler because it seems to need more sugar, butter, and nutmeg, maybe even some vanilla. There is no point to a diet cobbler. i said, there’s no point to a diet cobbler. I would also like to see them cook the peaches a little more as sometimes they are not as soft as they should be. The 3 stars is for the cobblers, but I’d give the cakes and other pies 4.5 stars.

Pricey i think. Tried out a red velvet $ 2.75 and its alright. You can taste or smell the food coloring. Most of the time you can’t. I’m surprised with this one i was able too. Didn’t want to spend much or else i would of got more sweets.

A guy by the name Eric H sent me a message cursing me out because I did not like this business. I don’t know if he knows somebody that works there but he has made statements about gay people and call me a female dog because I do not like they’re nasty dry cobbler or cupcakes. Just because somebody does not like a person’s business does not mean you should talk about somebody’s sexual orientation or stoop so low to wishing harm on me. I was not planning on leaving this but the internet bullying has to stop especially over old cupcakes

They’re selection really hits my sweet tooth. I had red velvet cupcakes which were fresh and I came in 20 minutes before closing. I also had their peach cobbler. The crust… omg, the crust. Delicious. 4 stars because they didn’t have German jock late fake which was what my mom wanted but other than that, great spot!

Desserts are delicious BUT I like spending my money at places that are nice to me. I walked in and immediately TRIED to make eye contact with the girl working behind the counter. We were the only 2 ppl there so she wasn’t busy. I GREETED her and asked about the different sliced cakes, etc. When she spoke it was under her breath and it seemed like she just didn’t want to be bothered with my questions about NORMAL stuff. For example: «What kind of cake flavors do you have?» «What flavor cookies do you have?» I bought 1 of each item to try everything. Afterwards I regretted spending that much at a place that didn’t even greet me when I walked in AND wasn’t even helpful Hey lady it’s my 1st time there so help me out!!! Sometimes customer service does determine if you’ll be back… in this case I probably won’t be back for a looong time.

Soon as you enter the door they ask you can they help you. They had a a few different sizes such as mini, small, medium and larger. They also had large cookies, cupcales and icecream. The peach cobbler had that infamous crust that we all love on our cobbler. The ice cream was creamy and the one scoop was pass the top of the cup which prevented you from putting the lid on. They had a few specialties cakes which can be made to order for birthdays, weddings and etc…

Places would go further if they had better customer service! I drove past this place many times and decided to stop because I wanted banana pudding! I go ask for it. We’re out, but TONE was nasty! Another customer made the ultimate mistake in asking when they’d get more. She shrugs, then goes further to say that she don’t know when they was gonna get sum more cuz they been out and she don’t know what they make every day until she gets there! Wooowwww, what a way to TURNAWAY customers! WWWWWHHHYY don’t you just cross it out on the menu, then folks won’t ask for it??? Problem Solved!!! My daughter wanted a cookie, so I order that and notice that you get a free cookie with Unilocal check in. I order the choc chip and ask what other dessert she recommended.-Ooh I don’t eat chocolate SO I don’t know(AGAINNASTY)! I HATEIT! DAMN near walked out! Strobe light, chocolate chip cookie looked good but tasted like crap– McDonald’s is better! HOWABOUTTHIS??? Skip the excess headache and the mean lady at the front with the skanky attitude and go home an bake your own cookies! No recipe??? Pillsbury, Tollhouse, whatever, just stay home and get high off the smell of your own Damn cookies cuz the millisecond up walk your A$$ in this Place! Instant BUZZKILL!!!

I’ve had some of the best peach cobbler homemade by ladies who knew more than a thing or 2 about baking & this place is pure bliss. As a person who isn’t big on pastries there is nothing at this wonderful place which is as good, if not better than grandmas baking. Customer service could have been friendlier but never judge Someone at 1st meeting because just be having a tough day or a hard time.

This place is so bomb! I come here almost every Saturday for either 7up pound cake, German chocolate cake, or sweet potatoes pie! You cannot go wrong with any of the deserts here! I give this place 10’s!

Not a happy camper. Love their cakes. Went to order a cake and because ONE person was not there I couldn’t order a cake. ONE monkey don’t stop No show does not apply here. Did not receive an offer of when to return or even when the ONE person would be be back. Bad business.

First time visiting. Ordered oatmeal raisin cookies, chocolate chip and walnut cookies, red velvet cupcakes, and peach cobbler($ 13 one) Ok down to business: Oatmeal raisin cookie: tasty and fresh, amazingly big for the price $ 1.50 Chocolate chip walnut cookie: also tasty but very greasy, still big for the price $ 1.50 Red velvet cupcakes: fresh, was warm when I bit into it, the way a red velvet cupcake should taste Peach cobbler: fresh and warm, nothing to write home about. But I’m not a cobbler fan. When asked how it tastes my boyfriend replied with, «it’s cool» Overall I would come back and try other things on the menu, everything was fresh and some things were still warm when I got home. Only giving 4 stars due to the staff, could be way more friendly.

I was super excited about this place when they first opened up. It’s located right where the old Kream Krop cake shop used to be. The bakery has great hours; open early and used to be open until 9pm, but changed their hours to 8pm closing time. So far I’ve tried the cookies, german chocolate cake, red velvet cake, key lime pie, sweet potato pie, and the peach, apple, and blackberry cobblers. Everything is really good and I’ve made special trips into LA, just to go here. I don’t eat a lot of sweets, but when I do, I want it to be worth my time and tastebuds. I especially love the key lime pie. I’m not a huge fan of key lime, but their’s is delicious and doesn’t have an over powering lime flavor. My only complaint is that they used to give you full slices of pie and now the slices don’t even fill up the container. Boooooo! At $ 3.50 per slice, I want a full slice of pie! Their cake slices have remained the same and overfill the container, and should at $ 4.00 a slice. The cookies are big and priced right at $ 1.50 a slice. The sweet potato pie is $ 2.75 per slice, and the mini peach cobbler is priced at $ 6.50 each. The cobblers are good, just the crust is not the best thing that I’ve ever had. Like Amy K. said, the crust needs more butter. I like to taste the butter throughout. I would definitely come again. I just hope that they improve the pie slices to make it worth your money. They do have a frequent buyee program for the cobblers where you buy so many, you get one free. You also get a free cookie for showing your Unilocal review.
