Econo Lodge Near LAX

This motel needs to check on people ID’S This couple meth heads Gerardo Antonio Morales and Juliana Alvarado stays here and stole my information to Rent a room

— For just under 95 bucks this is the best economy hotel we stayed for.
— Room was clean and restroom tidy as well. They did change towels the next morning, something that other budget hotels miss to do.
— The surrounding area is bit scary though (cop sirens and strange behavior), but plan to leave this place in the morning and come back for a night’s sleep and you will feel better. Don’t plan to take a walk or stand in the ground floor outside in the evening or night
— Parking is little tight in terms of maneuvering but it has space for SUVs and Vans, and 2 to 3 spots open all the time
— Snack and Grab ‘n’ go food is available in vending machine
— Beverage and Ice vending machines are also available
— 7 eleven, CVS, Starbucks, Panda Express and other food joints are just half a mile near by on either side of this lodge
— If you are looking for a budget hotel for a short stay and if you can make out rest of the things, this is the place !!!

I would not recommend staying here. It is very old and run down. The room seemed clean enough but our air conditioner was broken and the walls are paper thin and it was very loud all night at least tell 2 am. We picked this hotel for a park and stay, but I would recommend spending $ 40 more dollars and stay somewhere else. The shuttle service only ran on the hour in the mornings so we had the shuttle for 6 am, but it did not show up tell 6:15am. The return shuttle to go back to the hotel takes forever and we are still waiting and it has been 40minutes after we called.

If you’re absolutely stuck, no other conceivable alternative, as a total last resort, I still wouldn’t recommend staying in this ghetto motel. The staff were pretty rude and the rooms below par. I was expecting to hear a gunshot at any moment. Highlight? Checking out…

Can I rate this a Zero? 1 star
I had reservations for the night before our trip and the night following our trip. We did not stay the second night. Our first clue of the safety of the neighborhood was the bullet-​proof glass that the receptionist was behind. The second clue was that the lights automatically came on when someone got up in the night… this made it feel like that was in case someone entered your room uninvited.
Firstly, the room smelled like urine. The bathroom door hinge was broken. A chair at the table was broken. Sink and shower faucets were marginal. The towels were very thin and scratchy.
The hotel provided LAX shuttle to take and return you to the airport. The pick-​up from the airport was horrendous. It took over one hour to get us (hotel is 10 mins away). I called them 3 times to check where they are. They said to look for an unmarked white van. When he arrived, the van had no functioning seat belts (IN LA traffic), my seat cushion had sunk into the seat and was falling apart. The driver was rude to passengers who weren’t in the right spot and raced in and out of traffic. Horrible service.
I would not recommend this hotel or this shuttle service.

My apartment was being renovated I had to find a place to stay for a few days. After calling several hotels the lady who took my call at Econo lodge was very nice and helpful. She’s one of the reasons I decided to stay here instead of the other hotels around the area

Exceeded my expectations in terms of spaciousness of the room; staff seemed friendly and accommodating enough. Breakfast was simple (three types of dry cereal, bagels, sweet rolls) but broad enough that most people can find something they will enjoy.

Room was very clean. TV channels lacking. Had 2^nd floor room, person upstairs (3^rd floor) walking around most of night (really), people in next room loud/​inconsiderate. Hotel itself was «OK». Just wish I could have gotten some sleep.

For the price it actually wasn’t that bad. The room was clean and looks like they recently made some renovations and painted them. Super close to LAX.

Run from this place as fast as you can!
Rooms are disgusting, people stomping, talking, banging doors all night long! 2:00 — 3:00 — 4:00 a.m. they don’t care! Save yourself & do not stay here!

Yeah so… it ain’t Nike… so just don’t do it…
The good…
Check in was simple…
Guy was nice at window…
It’s just clean enough to sleep…
It’s Relatively cheap…
And…uhhh… that’s all I can think of… really… that’s it.
Now… The bad…
Its in the sketchy part of inglewood… the straight hood!!!
The walls are paper thin… so you hear everything… and they can hear you too…
I said it was clean enough to sleep… but I was not about to walk on the carpet barefoot… at all!!!
TV reception totally sucked…
Water pressure in the shower was super low…
Woke up to police sirens and dogs barking and Mookie the crack head screaming out massive amounts of profanity … like I said… HELLA sketchy area…
Breakfast was a joke…
Overall me and my hunny said NEVER AGAIN!

In a rather sketchy area. Broken windows on one of the windows outside. Most of the screens in the windows are broken. They make you sign a piece of paper immediately that says «no refunds» before you see the room. Drunk Hispanic men heard clearly hanging out on the hotel balcony in the middle of the night. What looks like a lot of rather drug addicted, unhappy people strolling around. Sad to see.
With that said. Very close to LAX. Room was clean. I inspected for bed bugs and all looked clear. Breakfast was good enough for me.
Would I stay here again? Probably not. But in a pinch, maybe.
Bring valuables inside and out of the car of course!
