Where can I start the bathroom is very nasty, the waiters make you feel uncomfortable. The food is okay I wish they had better sweets/deserts.

I’ve been here for everything from baseball banquets to my wedding reception and they have yet to disappoint. The service is good for a buffet style place. Food usually restocked pretty frequently. The sushi is lacking but this place is more Chinese than Japanese. Overall not a bad place for a reasonable priced lunch or dinner.

This makes no sense but then again it makes perfect sense. Royal Buffet is located in a very active strip mall off Century Blvd near Costco. There are a TON of food spots and people spending money all over the place. Why then is Royal Buffet so crappy? Because the owners/management do not care about the community they serve, and the community has gotten the message loud and clear. Bad service, terrible food, and a filthy eating atmosphere make for a very unpleasant experience. If new owners came in and cleaned the place and sold clean, edible food that buffet would be packed every single day. But no one wants to go here and eat old tasteless food that may actually cause you to get sick. Just close down and sell it to someone else please.

The facility is old and not well maintained the water where he fishes are have some sort of mold. The walls are stained with what seems to be sauce. The employees are not at all hospitable only the gentleman in the front with curly hair is nice. Food had a lot of grease and tasteless noodles. My stomach hurts and I have only had a plate. My expectations were high because it’s local but after this visit I could honestly say«this place should be in nightmare kitchen.» Does it have potential? Yes of course it does. You can see some«regulars» place needs to be cleaned up asap it would only take 1 day to dedicate cleaning and replace booths and honestly retrain cook or fine someone else. I’ll give it another try if this place does some serious clean up!

I wish i could rate them –1 stars!!! This place has gone downhill. The food has never been great to start off. I went back recently and wow not only is the cashier an @$$ he has no bedside manners. very rude every time I had been there. Over priced for the quality of the food. They have obviously made some budget cuts! Hardly a variety of food. very plain and a lot of the simple things were under cooked! Like the wontons for example you can taste the raw dough like wtf how can you mess up something so simple??? The California rolls are not even good, the rice was hard!!! And the rest of the staff –what the hell learn English and stop lingering and hovering while I ate. if I need you I’ll call you OK. I think we all know what to do with our plates once we’re done. I’ll set it aside for you thanks! They should be more concerned on cleaning the floors properly and tables disgusting! And clean your bathrooms already. I don’t know who voted them #1??? Still in doubt, false advertising if you ask me. I can’t find any recent information regarding such claim! I could see this place definitely getting shut down. It deserves a D-. Will never step a foot back in here. Save your money and head over to the CHINABUFFET on PCH in Torrance

Horrible service!!! Waiters are rude and ignore you!!! I had to ask four different people to exchange my soda since it wasn’t the correct soda I ordered. 3 out of the 4 waiters ignored me and walked away basically telling not their problem for their mistake. I recommend trying a different place.

Chinese buffet, decent price, but don’t have high expectations. It’s your run of the mill fast food type Chinese buffet.

I came here cuz my brother in law apparently loves this place. Mental note: don’t ever take his word anymore when it comes to food. 4 words: don’t waste your time. I hated it. The food was bland, not worth spending your $$ probably worst buffet I’ve ever been to.

This place, in a nutshell, is great value for the price. The food is decent and their is a huge variety of it. That alone would get this place 3 stars. The reason it gets a fourth star is the Mongolian section. Everything is fresh and their sauces are pretty good. I’ve been here several times and the service had been good. I’ve eaten comfortably and they are quick on refills. As fire the bathroom being dirty with graffiti, yes that is true. Let’s face it though, it’s Inglewood. I think I’d be more surprised to find a clean bathroom! Try the place out! It’s not great, bit it’s not bad either. Cheers!

Now it used to be 4 stars months ago. The reason is because the food is good and I like the selection for the price but the guy that did the Mongolian part left to Mexico with relatives and the people that do it now just don’t have skills and I’ve had different people make it. It’s just not the same. I miss that guy I really don’t go there much now to be honest he knew my whole family and always asked for them. It may seem weird but truthfully my favorite part was the Mongolian section. I would still recommend this place if you like chinese buffets with good food for a good price. Hey maybe management puts someone as good as him there or even better, one day.

(DISCLAIMER) These reviews about Royal Buffet are getting ready to go from bad to worse. As I sit on this toilet with small chunks of carrots and chicken and cabbage coming out of my asshole forcefully, I’m thinking of the words I want to use to describe how I feel about the FOODPOISONING I received from Royal Buffet yesterday. So a friend of mine suggested we go here because the lunch special is $ 8. I said.ok.let’s check it out. I should have know better. first off. it’s in the hood. True enough. I found some great shirts at Ross and some good braiding hair at the beauty supply store after we ate there. But it wasn’t until around later that evening when the ENTIRE meal came up my esophagus. Eww. I didn’t even eat anything crazy. I ate, and small portions of this stuff, Onion Rings, Fried Rice, I got the chef looking dude to stir fry me some Broccoli, Cabbage, Shrimp and Onion, and had like 2 Chicken wings. If you are looking to not eat food for the next 2⁄3 days and shed some quick weight. Then yea sure, go risk your life and have a ball at The Royal Buffet. Because you will take a Royal Shit later that day/night with a couple of Royal Vomiting sessions to follow. That’s it for now. I should go brush my teeth. You suck Royal Buffet. KICKROCKS and break a foot! I hope the city shuts you down!

Standard Buffet. Some items are better then others. Lots of items to choose from. Tried their BASIC sushi, it is OK, for those that enjoy supermarket sushi well this is the same. They do have made to order chop mein, so that is actually a plus. Many options to choose from. And plenty of seating. $ 10.99 for what seems to be the dinner price, drink not included. Kids pay $ 1 per what ever their age is up until 10yrs then it’s adult price.

So many things to say about this place. In their glory days, this used to be the go-to buffet stop. But now it lost its pazazz! I went here for a family dinner to celebrate my aunts bday and the place is more than accommodating when it comes to large groups. Groups over 10 automatically get 10% gratuity added to their bill. But I couldn’t get one fucking refill of water until I complained to a wandering waiter. –_– I swear he put his dick on my cup in retaliation. But thats not even the worst of the«SERVICE» that they have here. When I was self serving myself egg rolls with kitchen thongs from the chow mein section(cus there was no thongs in the egg roll platter) the woman behind the counter RUDELY grabbed the thongs out my hand and retrieved the thongs for the crab rangoons section! I was heated. Ho don’t ever silently disrespect a pimp attempting to dine on egg rolls! iCANT! So overall service sucks balls. RUDE asses all around. The food is a whole nother bag o’ problems. Firstly everything was mislabeled. The Beef Broccoli was labeled under Chicken and Potatoes(when they didn’t even have any of that) and everything subsequently was out of order. SO if you don’t know anything about chinese food then your gonna be confused calling fried rice, pork dumplings. And let me not get into the desserts(le sigh) It was a pathetic attempt at sweets that its borderline embarrassing. They has some sad looking almond cookies that was shoved in the back. They looked old and tasteless. They also help your assortment of granny delights(puddings and jello’s) –_– nothing at all appetizing. They get 1 star for the amount of food and because it accommodates larger parties. They also another star for the cute lil chubby girl that was forced to retrieve buckets of food for her family sitting behind us. That ish was entertaining. 30 cookies, 75lbs of crab legs, mounds on mounts of fried rice, she toted it all to her family!
