I came here yesterday for a smog service, after calling and being informed that they close at 6. They closed early (despite having signage posted with hours of operations). I got there at 5:35 but Jorge was already closing up. I happily took my business to an another establishment that actually honored their posted hours of operation. Very disappointed in my customer service experience and I will not be returning. Call ahead!

I’ve been coming here since they first opened their doors. Came today to first in line for a Saturday 8:00 am scheduled opening but no show by 8:20. Had to go across the street.

Great, speedy service. I was in and out in less than half an hour. Price was great also. I would definately recommend.

I went to get smog checks on two of my cars and it was done in less than a half hour total. I am very pleased. He was a very nice person who answered all my stupid questions. If you’re looking to get smog check done in 15 minutes and save $ 10 (repeat customers) drive to Unismog. I’ve used them the last six years. I’m happy with Jorge (technician) and the way I’m always treated with respect. I’m so glad the wait was about 15 minutes… much less than last in 2013. Thanks Unismog.

As quick and easy as you can possibly imagine. Called first and they said no wait. I got there and there was no wait. It’s a one-​car-​at-​a-​time kind of place. Small shop on the corner. George was very nice and super efficient. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. No hassles at all. This was my first time here but I will be coming here again.

Its a star location to smog check they send the results online go dmw. They only make smog checks. Its just on the corner small shop. It was empty when i come in. I did not wait even one minute. I asked the price he told me60 $ and i was like is there any discount or coupon. He told me yes but online. And he give me 10 dollars discount. My car is very old crossing my fingers to pass smog check right now ;)

This lazy girl got the letter for her smog check a few months ago. I even drive by at least 7 – 8 smog check places heading to or from work every day, but sometimes I just don’t have the patience to sit and wait for a smog check after a long day of work. And on other days, these places look too swamped. I really just want to go in and out. I like to use my time efficiently. Today, I picked up an iced coffee after work and decided, today is the day (but mostly really because this smog check is due really soon)! My hope and intention today was to see a smog check place where there was no wait. Today was my lucky day. I drove in, gave the man my keys, sat down on the really comfty couch, sipped on my coffee, and went in and out of watching the news on tv and reading a couple of awful buzzfeed articles on my phone. Before I knew it, I was out of there. I would say it roughly took 10 – 15 minutes. He was quick and professional. I’d be back!

That was way too easy. I had to take my sister over to Hooman Hyundai down the street to test drive a few cars, but I pulled up to Unismog, parked the car, said a quick «Hey there George» (even though I’d never met him) and he let me leave the key while we went down the street. I popped out of the car on one of the test drives, walked in — he showed me the «passed» printout, told me what to do with it, I paid and I was on my way! It was amazingly easy and straightforward.

Jorge is very professional. Nice guy to deal with. Got me in and certificate in hand in a short period of time. Highly recommended!

In and out within 15 minutes, and without making an appointment. Jorge was very friendly, as was the young lady who processed the payment. This is essentially a converted one car garage, but it gets the job done. The price is reasonable, and Jorge even gave me $ 10 off for no reason at all!

Quick and easy. I took my car here on a Thursday during my lunch break. There was one guy ahead of me and I still got out of there within 15 minutes. The dude who smog checked my car was friendly and helpful. I’d recommend coming here.

Unrivaled service!
This is the 911 for those somewhat naughty drivers (*cough cough* me) who let their tags expire and stall on getting their car smogged.
If you’re getting pulled over left and right over expired tags/​registration and don’t have time to be waiting in line at the DMV or AAA, Unismog is a must.
Rather than spending my only day off this week at the DMV, I spent only 45 mins (if that) getting everything taken care of on the spot by the gentlemen. I’m happy to say, I got my ish together!
I’m deeply grateful for their expedient service and will definitely see to doing business with Unismog again in the future.

Jorge is a great tech and told me why the car didn’t pass and advised me on what to do before bringing it back. Very patient and a nice guy.
I didn’t catch the young woman’s name that helped me but she was also very helpful. She told me what my options are for my car after a failed smog-​test. She also bought me time to avoid any penalties from the DMV.
Overall, great place to do your smog check. Fast and very great service.

It’s what I needed when dealing with my expired tags as I let mine expire and lapse to the point that I was charged late fees. And it’s exactly what I got when I showed up to UniSmog one Saturday morning.
No nonsense — handed over my keys and paperwork and left with my registration and tags. Small processing fee but it beats waiting at the DMV any day, every day.
