Papa’s Pizza

The food is good, but prices and delivery charges are way overpriced. $ 8 for delivery of 3 blocks away, no thank you.

All in all this place has always had consistently good pizza. Better than dominoes. happies. and pizza hut. Ordering from here the last couple of years. Delivery times can be different at times but when your busy your busy.

You don’t always get what you ordered. I ordered two ½ lbs. (8 oz.) cheeseburgers dinners. When they arrived they looked small so I weighed them. They weighed 4.5 oz., this would be the weight of a ¹⁄₃ lbs. burger after cooking. They lost a family of customers for being dishonest.

Have ordered from here a few times, always get the same thing, that being a deep dish. So tonight when the order shows up its wrong. My husband calls to have the order corrected and «Nick» goes on the defensive, hollering at my husband (the customer) refusing to make it right. My husband calls back to talk to his boss and «Nick» says he doesn’t answer to anyone, only God.
Papas has a good pizza but «Nick» has a terrible attitude and subsequently has lost our business.

I ordered their vegetarian specialty pizza. It was still warm when it was delivered. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The pizza was so nice that I had to stop myself from over eating and eating the whole thing in one sitting by myself.

Used to order Papa’s Pizza a few years back when we bought our house back in 2011 as they seemed to be the only place that delivered flyers at our place. But that changed shortly after we moved in, and until last weekend, we hadn’t had it for quite a while.
Well, I ordered to larges with 3 toppings each. My wife got her’s hand tossed with Pepperoni’s, Banana Peppers and Onions. I ordered the thin crust with Onions, Banana Peppers and Jalapenos. I was approx 15 minutes away coming home from a gig, check out
if y’all like country music, so I decided to pick it up.
When I walked in, although behind bullet proof glass, the staff greeted me promptly and politely — some of the reviews stated rude, etc, I didn’t experience that at all. The owner, I believe as another customer called him «Papa» (lol), asked if I ever experienced their thin crust pizza yet (I have), and then said if not, I’d love it. That is one thing I did remember about this pizza place, their thin crust pizza was awesome!!! :) The pizza was ready, just came out as I walked in the door, so was really HOT!
We got home a few minutes later, and when opening the box, the pizza was still steaming.
Everything was fresh, tasty and really good. I think we’ll be ordering there again soon!!!
