My husband and I read previous reviews saying it was a better Juicy Lucy than 5 – 8 club – it’s true! We enjoyed the hangover burger and French onion juicy Lucy. Sides were excellent with sweet potato tots and waffle fries being our choices. We live in the area and will DEFINITELY be back again!

First time we have been here in a long time. The burgers were much better than I had expected. The garlic Parmesan fries were crispy and very good. Service was ok, pretty much what you’d expect at a bar. We will be back. The build your own burger option has lots of choices.

Music is good. Cover charge to much especially when you go at 12. Like it when they have taste testing promotion. I tried Wild Dog whiskey. It was good. Well Drinks are watered down. Never had the food.

Just dont. Just to keep it short, if you care anything about good service or a even a hint of a smile: Don’t. I rather have spent my $ 34 looking at T&A a block away at King Of Diamonds. Really. If you care: I ordered the Philly style pot roast with fries for .99 additional & a club soda. Roast so dry & flavorless I didn’t finish the remaining which seldom ever happens. What I suspect was lettuce was clearly old & wilted. My friend Malinda ordered the pot roast french dip(she added peppers & onions at $ 2EACH!) & pineapple something coleslaw. Not one single piece of pineapple or a hint of sweetness. Smh.

First time visit, Hangover Burger with Sweet Potato Tots, was so juicy and delish. Partner enjoyed grilled ghost pepper cheese and tomato basil soup. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, we’ll be back as there were so many things we want to try.

Stopped by this place when they had the groupon deal. Glad I did. I found a place that has Juicy Lucy’s that beat out places like the Nook, Matts or 5 – 8. I got the jalapeño popper burger on my first visit. A burger stuffed with pepper jack cheese and sliced jalapeños, then they lightly bread and deep fry it. On top they put a slab of cream cheese mixed with diced jalapeños. The burger is not overly spicy. I describe it as pleasantly hot. It is to date one of the best burgers I have ever had. I don’t know if they season the meat or something, but the flavors are amazing. My buddy got the hangover burger. He loved it. Typical burger, bacon, egg cheese deal, but then they put hollandaise sauce on it. He said it was«F’in great». Looking forward to making this place a regular stop.

The service was very bad. It was busy, so we didn’t mind waiting for our food. We were happy to get a table without a wait. But in the 45 minutes we wait for our food our waitress checked in on us ONCE. Idk guess my expectations we’re too high. I’d still recommend it. Our juicys were delicious and perfectly done. Would maybe just not go again on a weekend night.

I really like Jersey’s as one of the local places in town. They have gluten free options for bread and beverages which I always appreciate. You can build your own burger and they have many options to chose from. They usually have some sort of band playing on the weekend so if you want a quite place to eat on a Friday night… you wont find it here. If you’re looking for a rocking good time, then check it out!

Alyssa had bought a Groupon for Jersey’s, which was fine by me. They have an All-You-Can-Eat Friday Night Fish Fry. Using that up would be no problem. We found this past Friday to be the day to drive on down. We have been here twice before for the Fish Fry. It had been a good 3 or 4 years since our last visit. Locking in the address on the GPS got us there with no issues. You drive just past it & find some parking on the side. Most parking is behind Jersey’s. You enter in on the side that has the few parking spots when you pull in. You walk into the middle of the place, which is where the bar is located. Chairs line the bar around all sides. To the left is limited seating and a game area. Complete with two pool tables, two pinballs machines, golf, & bowling arcade games. Past that is an entrance to a nice little patio area. They even have a gas fireplace out there. To the right is a complete dining room. Booths & tables. It was crowed around 5:30. We had to do a little digging to figure out where to sit. A sign was located at the entrance that said to seat yourselves. We found a table & we were greeted quickly by our server. We asked for a highchair for Pheona. After it was brought, she asked us what we were drinking. They offer a Happy Hour till 6, so we were able to partake in cheap drinks. Alyssa got a redneck martini(Miller Lite with olives). I went with a Fat Tire. When those came, Alyssa hadn’t figured out what she wanted to eat, so she asked for 5 more minutes. The have a nice menu, highlighting burgers & Jucy Lucy’s. Many, many kinds. She knew she wanted one, it was just which kind. She decided on the Hangover Burger. Bacon, Cheese, Over Easy Egg, & Hollandaise Sauce. They offer up many sides for a cost. She ordered Sweet Potato Tater Tots with Chipotle Dipping Sauce. I, of course, went with the AYCE Friday Night Fish Fry. It comes standard with Battered Cod, Hand Cut Fries, & Coleslaw. There are plenty of TV’s in here. I’m sure any game you wanted to see, they would have it on. Also, they have a stage for music. In front of the stage is a dance floor. It seems like they offer up music every Friday & Saturday night, looking at the flyers they hang up. The meals took awhile to get to us, 15 minutes or so. Mine included three pieces of Lightly Battered Cod, a scoop of Coleslaw sprinkled with Paprika, & a nice mound of Fresh Cut French Fries. Also, two plastic ramekins of Tartar & two perfect sized wedges of Lemon. Alyssa asked for Tobasco when she got her burger delivered. We also got an extra plate for Pheona to eat off of. She asked me before she left if I wanted to put in a reorder. I thought that was hasty. I haven’t even taken a bite yet. I declined. I squeezed lemon on my three pieces. Lots of squeeze per wedge. Enough for all three. Many seeds, though. A cut with the fork & the fillet just flaked away. A quick dip in the tartar made this a nice bite of Fish. Mild flavor of the Cod was enhanced greatly with the Lemon & Tartar. The batter was perfect. I wouldn’t guess it’s Beer Batter. Just Flour, Water & Salt. The Fries were perfect. Skin on, hot & fresh, salty. The Coleslaw was a little bland. I sprinkled a touch of salt on it per Alyssa’s request. That helped slightly. It still was a refreshing bite after so many fried bites of food. After munching for a few minutes, Alyssa was still waiting on her Tobasco. She was able to flag our server down & ask her for it again. I also put in a reorder for two pieces at that time. I asked if everything was All-You-Can-Eat. I was informed just the Fish. After 5 more minutes, & now Alyssa’s food getting cold, she still hadn’t got it. She went over to another table & asked them for theirs. Luckily they were done using it. In the 5 minutes she waited, Alyssa watched our server pour herself an alcoholic beverage & drink it. Not good. Priorities need to be examined. Alyssa’s burger was told it would be served medium temp when ordered. When eating it, there wasn’t a spot of pink inside it. Her egg was overcooked, too. The Hollandaise sauce came on the side & was cold. I got my reorder after 10 minutes. It was brought in a basket & came with three pieces. Also, Lemon & Tartar came with it. One of the Tartar Sauces had tipped over in the basket & spilt on the Fish. Our server asked if that was okay or if I wanted a new order. I took it as it was. They sure serve good tasting Fish here. The pieces are 4″ long & an inch wide. They are thick, too. About an inch high. When we were finishing up, we told our server we had the Groupon deal & a Unilocal check in offer. The Unilocal deal was for a free drink with the purchase of Lunch or Dinner. She accepted both. Our total after discounts was $ 4. The All-You-Can-Eat Friday Night Fish Fry costs $ 11.99. Just a tad high with the fact that only the Fish is AYCE. Despite the service issues & Alyssa’s burger being less than fine, I’m sure we’ll make the trek here once again. Decent Happy Hour specials.

I love their breakfast and burgers. And sometimes they run Groupon deals. The bands are usually good too.

Wonderful food, but very poor service both experiences. The fries are amazing, the build your own is an absolute win. Apps are also appealing, unfortunately in a place with lovely and lively atmosphere, the service was really poor and unenthusiastic.

I’ve been here a few times, including tonight. The first one I visited was standard good service. Tonight I ordered a burger and did not receive it on time with the rest of my table. Eventually it was brought in a to go box and they even comped my food. Had I known this I would have been much more gracious! Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back again… Maybe even as a regular!

Pros: Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere Cons: Terrible Fish Fry Went here with a groupon not expecting much out of the dinner, but figured it was worth a shot. Ordered the Friday night fish fry and was treated to extremely dry, overcooked to the point that the fish curved over and a plate of cheap fries. No amount of tartar sauce could have saved this fish! As for the service, the wait staff was very friendly and helpful with my complaints. It was evident that the employees enjoyed their jobs and wanted the customers to have a good time too. The giant bucket of booze seemed like a hit among the customers and a cool gimmick for the bar. I think ordering a burger or sandwich could have saved the experience, but if your special is the worst item on the menu, there’s a problem. Lastly, we arrived 2 hours before the Country band started their gig and were asked to pay the cover AFTER sitting down at the table under the condition that we would get the money back if we left before the show. I can understand a disclaimer about paying a cover at the door, but making customers get out of their seats and pay a deposit for something they aren’t going to stay for is tacky. Go here for the bar and nice, professional staff. Stay away from the fish.

This place would probably be neat in the dayime I’m not a big fan of paying a $ 5 cover to see a fairly shitty country band and being run into by incredibly drunk 21 – 13 year olds. The prices were fairly reasonable, but the service was slow(albeit the place was packed) and the music was too loud and sucked. Also I am not a huge fan of places that don’t have windows to the outside. I think if I was to come on an off night, play some darts and be able to see the Flugtag memorabilia that I couldn’t see from the incredibly dark atmosphere, I’d have been more of a happy camper.

Clipboard? Check! Pen? Check! Appetite for a burger that was designed perfectly just for you? Check! Jersey’s Bar & Grill in Inver Grove Heights has just launched their BYOB or Build Your Own Burger menu and it’s already looking to be a smash hit. With more than 1.5 million combinations to possibly choose from, there isn’t a creation NOT worth attempting! Like the classic New Kids On The Block song, Step By Step, you have 5 steps to get through until you have that masterpiece you’ve always dreamed of. Maybe picking just one topping or one variety of cheese isn’t enough for you and if that’s the case, well then, GOFORIT! Build a mega burger and while you’re at it, give it a name! Yep, you can even name your burger if you really want to. I already think that Jersey’s has the best Juicy around and now they’re just making it even better in allowing me and everyone else the opportunity to get exactly what we want and sealing the deal that I was right in ranking them at the top. Wondering what I would build? Me too! Step 1(we can have lots of fun) with my meat selection being a juicy. Step 2(there’s so much we can do) selecting a cheese and mine is a blend of American and pepper jack. Step 3(it’s just you for me) Mr. Sourdough hamburger bun. Step 4(I can give you more) toppings, but I’m ok with an extra slice of American cheese. Step 5(don’t you know that the time has arrived) to choose your sauces? 16 to choose from and I’ll have some mayo. Sides really don’t matter when you’re making the perfect burger, but I like fries and you have to try the new pineapple slaw! Anyone who knows me knows that slaw doesn’t go near my mouth, but this stuff is awesome, so make sure you get it. If fries aren’t your thing, don’t worry, the Owner Billy hasn’t forgotten about you. He’s added some additional sides like; broccoli & hollandaise, mashed or baked potatoes, veggies or soup. There’s only one thing left to do… ENJOY! So where are you going to get your next burger from? That’s right, Jersey’s!

Haven’t been here in years, I think they’ve updated the place since my last visit. That’s a plus. The wait staff hustled and the Juicy Lucy’s were pretty good, not up to some of the more well known burger establishments in the cities, but decent none the less.

We went here last night after church. The hubbs and I had gotten a $ 20 credit for $ 10 on Living Social a while back, and we had a coupon from our Entertainment book for a buy one get one entrée. I had the Ultimate Clubhouse Sandwich, my dad and the hubbs both had burgers, and my mom had a chicken sandwich(which she shared with our baby girl). I am a little picky about lettuce, I don’t like iceberg, but I’ll eat pretty much any other type. The menu said Romaine lettuce came on the sandwich, but it was shredded iceberg. I was a little disappointed in that, but the sandwich was otherwise good. A little tall to fit your mouth around and get a good bite, but I can handle that! One thing I thought was kind of weird, is that if you wanted fries, chips or coleslaw you had to add 99 cents, and $ 1.99 if you wanted more fancy fries. Most places include at least chips without an extra charge. But I got the fries anyway. Since we were there around 6pm on a Saturday night, the«bar crowds» weren’t there, making the atmosphere just right for dinner conversation.(Though my dad’s not much of a talker, so the ball game on the tv was just fine for him.) The food came out relatively quickly, and our waitress even brought the baby some saltine crackers(which she inhaled after eating a good part of grandma’s sandwich… silly girl!)

So I gave this place another shot. Appetizer menu certainly did not disappoint and I was ecstatic that the owner took the time to get in touch with me. Thanks for making this experience a better one!

Stopped in after our wedding reception for a little more partying. Originally booked a couple tables by the dance floor but it was too damn loud and we moved to a VIP section closer to the back. We had lots of drinks although we didn’t really get served as much as we served ourselves. I do recall getting a Trainwreck for free — you should really pick a partner and try one of these 100oz. monsters. I wisely held off on shots until closing time. We spilled a couple shots of Patron on the bar but the tender cheerfully wiped it up and refilled our glasses… What a sweetheart. There’s a smoking patio out back if you’re still insisting upon killing yourself. Also, plenty of parking in the back and, for all that is good and holy, take a cab if you get drunk. I see more D-Dubs coming from Concord street on the police blotter than anywhere else in the county.
