As mentioned earlier a real hit and a miss. But my time there was a hit. So I went back, and the place was abandoned. There was a crew of workman present who looked like they were waiting for the wrecking ball. Facia of the restaurant was torn away, so I guess it is «good night Irene» for the Last Track!

This place is real hit and miss with their food and service. I have been coming here for years and I often wonder why. After the last meal we ate here my hubby turned to me and said«Why do we come here again?» which pretty much sums it up. I hate to trash on a local place. I want them to get better. I want to like them. I keep going back and it keeps being the same. This last visit we ordered omlets. Mine was supposed to be a benedict omlet — which is a ham and cheese with hollandaise sauce on it. There was no hollandaise sauce and the omlet was under cooked so it was runny. My hubby’s omlet was also runny. This happens a lot here. The toast was dry and burnt on one corner. The American Fried Potatoes were so overcooked it was like eating potato dust with a chewy shell. This is pretty par for the course here. We once had to go find a server to take our money — The only two employees on duty were outside smoking. I want to like this place because it is local and family owned — but I just can’t. Not when the food quality is less than Perkins and Denny’s.
