Catherine’s is an amazing store for the ladies! I met Catherine a few years back during Mission Creek Music Festival in Iowa City! My band played an acoustic set outside her store! She was so sweet and offered us champaign, mind you it was 11am! I loved it! She was so kind to us. Move forward a few years and my wife is back buying the best pair of jeans she has ever owned. They were 200 bucks and she pretty much wore them every day for 2 years! So she’s always talking about the amazing jeans she got at Catherine’s.
This year I stopped in during Mission Creek Festival again and spoke with Catherine about how my wife needed some new Jeans, she offered to send me home to Des Moines with some pairs for her to try and send them back if they didn’t fit or she didn’t like them! How amazing is that! You don’t see that kinda service every day!
This past week, we were in Iowa City and we stopped in to see Catherine and again she offered us Champaign and we ended up picking up a really fun sweater for Ashley Mom’s B-​day!
Cool designer women’s clothes, price ranges from affordable to expensive, styles galore, amazing customer service! I love this place. If I was a lady I was buy all my clothes here.

I sent Catherine a message through Facebook regarding a certain brand of jeans I had noticed when I was in DC for business.
A month later I strolled into her store unexpectedly and she remembered the exact pair of jeans I had inquired about!
This is the type of person you want running a local business! She is the best! Thank you Catherine!

I started shopping here when I was 19 (nearly a decade ago) and every single item I purchased here is still one of my favorites! This place is pricey but only sells high quality merchandise that lasts! The buyer (s) have excellent taste and seem to focus on classic pieces instead of overly trendy items ~ I always find something I want here. Since shopping here as a teenager, I’ve lived in Portland, San Francisco, and Tokyo and have yet to find a boutique I love as much as this one. If you’re looking for excellent designer pieces, I highly recommend this shop. If you’re looking for bargains, you might not find anything to purchase here. I hear they have sales, but I’ve never had any luck finding discounts here.

This is as good as it gets for upscale women’s clothing in Iowa City. Joe’s Jeans, James Jeans, Seven for All Mankind… They have great sales, so get on their email list. In addition, they also carry upscale brands like BCBG, etc. in other clothing. They have a tailor who can help fit your jeans and other clothes for a ridiculously low price. Women who work there are really helpful about helping you find the right fit.
