Too bad this is one of a very few photograph developers in town. Dropped off a roll of black and white film, they said come back in 10 days. I did, it wasn’t done. Fine, I’ll stop back. I went twice more. Today I stopped. They now can’t find the film and the treated me like it was my fault. I didn’t appreciate how this was handled one bit. Roger, who runs the place is a n arrogant ass. Avoid this place if possible.

Extremely poor service. A fairly simple order took 6 weeks, 5 phone calls and 4 trips to the store. I had the feeling my order did not matter to anyone. No one seemed to care about getting it right until the owner got involved. But even then, I would get an apology and assurance it would be made right. And it wasn’t. With the level of frustration I experienced trying to get my order, I think many proprietors would have offered not to charge a customer. That didn’t happen. I could not recommend this store to anyone.

Needed a new photo to renew my passport. Had been to Zephyr with my wife to get her visa photos, it took forever and cost damn near $ 30. Decided to try University Camera this time. Taking the picture took about a minute, came back in an hour to pick them up(handy enough if you work downtown). Just under $ 15, which if you’ve been reading you’ll note is about half of what Zephyr wanted. No-brainer for passport pictures!

Roger sold me a new Nikon lens for a song. Also his staff has been very helpful when I went in needing help with a couple of school projects and even though they didn’t have what I needed, they pointed me where to go locally for the materials to make my project deadline instead of paying rush charges on the internet.
