Paid order has never been shipped out and without a notice of cancellation. They didn’t even do a refund. Called the customer service twice. One said refunding me with a code but never happened. The other one just ask me to do a lot of nonsense things instead of either shipping out an alternative or dealing with the refund.

Went to the warehouse sale on Friday, July 31 for Friends and Family. Really…$ 49.99 is a warehouse price for women’s shoes which can be purchased for $ 45.00 at Kohls? When you walk in, you are given a price list. I asked about numerous items on the list and was told that they were not on sale because«we didn’t receive it». Ends up, over half the approximate 40 items on the list were not available. Went back to the warehouse on Sunday thinking the selection would be better or pricing reduced. Nope. Women’s and men’s shoes were still $ 49.99. Children’s shoes were still $ 24.99. Shorts $ 19.99. Only about 15 customers in the warehouse at 3:30pm on Sunday, right before closing. Saw three people purchase a handful of items. Just saw that the sale is being extended to next weekend… perhaps their sales were disappointing??? By the way… this is NOT a sample sale. No sample shoes or clothing were available as I was told by numerous ASICS workers on duty.

I love ASICS. As a lifelong grappler and former college wresling coach, I am fiercely loyal. Checked out their warehouse sale and scored some great deals. Bought a pair of LA Marathon special edition shoes, some performance socks and a reverse able down vest. They were not giving the stuff away, but still a good value.

I want to say I’m an avid fan of Asics, always have since high school cross country days. I’m a heavier set marathoner so Kayanos are the way to go for me. However, in recent years, I’ve changed to shoes such as GT2000 as they seem to fit me better for my injured self. The review is for the sample sale they have once a year here. Here’s an example of the flyer. The most recent sale, the sample shoes were $ 20. Sample sizes were men’s 9 and women’s 7. This was great since I was a size 9. I was able to finally find something in my size and a style that I wanted. What I didn’t know was, this sale was cash only. This was never mentioned in their flyer. That was a minus. I also didn’t know I had to wait 45 minutes just to get in. I do have to admit, the line did move albeit slowly but they had enough for everyone to get something. The employees do get first dips at 8am-8:30pm. Boy, do I need a job here! What was the minus in here was that they had an additional sale area that was $ 40 for shoes with more sizes but you couldn’t go in because paying for the items was in a separate area. So you had to either pay first to get in or just drop all your items and hope no one takes it. Or as the workers put it, «don’t put it back in the stash» Also when it came to pay, there was a line for shoes and a line for garment. So I waited 15 minutes to pay for my shoes and then had to get in line again for 20 minutes to pay for my garments. Ugh. What was the saving grace was they ended up marking all garments down to $ 1. That was pretty damn amazing. I did lose out for being slow as I was in the warehouse when they announced it. I found maybe 10 tech shirts in odd sizes . The best thing that happened was my mom was looking for a backpack and asked a worker with a backpack if he would sell it to her. He happily obliged but luckily they had another at the register. I applaud you Asics for having great workers, but please do make better decisions when you are trying to get people to pay and just get out. As crazy as it was, I will be back next year!

Mediocre shoes with very little field marketing and lack of business strategy(too late to the minimal game) knocks asics off their high horse atop specialty running shoe sales. Haha…

Asics is a top quality running, tennis and sports company. Everything I have ever ordered from them is always the best quality, lasts the longest. The store at their Irvine office is well laid out and the staff is always extremely helpful. If you haven’t tried asics and you are into sports — I suggest you try a pair. You wont be sorry. Top quality is the only way to describe this company.
