Last couple times I’ve been to this location I’ve gotten barely warm meat in my tacos. Really ruins the taste! Also, the chicken in the chicken sandwich just tasted off last time, like rubbery and old or something. Don’t think I’ll be back even though I live down the street! :(

The late night stop for munchies. I get the grilled cheese with curly fries and a large Dr. Pepper. NOMNOM! The drive thru is pretty fast until you get to the window. They make everything to order so you have to wait for a bit at the window. I like the wait because I know they are making my sandwich and fries now instead of 20 minutes ago. Good stop for late night food. Breakfast served all day and night. Make sure you try the mini churros. They are tasty… mmmm!

Stopped iin here just for a quick breakfast sandwich, we had breakfast the day before in a nearby diner and it was a bit too much for me. My breakfast at Jack was just right. I had a sandwich with eggs, ham, bacon and cheese and it was very good. The decaf coffee and hash brown were good also. This is only my second time ever in a Jack in the Box. Don’t judge, but I kinda like the place :-)

For a fast food location, this one ROCKS! I come here on and off for breakfast usually. The staff is always friendly, efficient and they get my order correct. Overall I find that Jack In The Box is more friendly then their competitors. Comparable to Chick-fil-a. BUT this one in particular gets it right all the time :).

This place brightens my morning every time!!! Pablo is so friendly and it’s infectious. The food is fast food. It never seems hastily prepared and is the quality you’d expect. The service is exceptional. Arturo is also very nice.

I was going here since it opened and I ordered breakfast biscuit and crossant without meat as I am a vegetarian. Even the owner charges less without meat, recently there is a guy named«Arturo» who says it’s the same prize without the meat too and he is too rude and unprofessional and says«Do you want to take sandwich or not«and shuts down the window right on my face. No one behaves like him there. Owner needs to fire him as he makes his own prices. It happened twice now. I will report to business bureau if they don’t fire him as he does not follow what the owners footsteps are and behaves rudely with customers.

Yeah jack in the box really perplexes me. The thing about his food is that its awesome at first; but as you continue on eating you start feeling the quality deteriorate because your taste buds are adjusting. The funny thing about Jack in the Box is that every single ive eaten there ill tell myself that this is the last time ill eat this crap. Yet i return; mostly because they do have good fries.

All fast food places for me get usually 3 stars because they’re average. They are all cookie cutter and generally the same. This particular Jack in the Box is sooooo clean! It looks like it’s newly built. What the heck? I guess even the low end places in Irvine are this clean and nice. I haven’t frequented this area since I went to U.C.I., but it’s pretty impressive that the general public and the employees take pride in keeping their establishments clean. That’s awesome!

This specific Jack in the Box location is very similar to many others in the area. There is a lot of open space with few built-in booths. At least during the visit of the review, the ceiling was not dripping. It had a tendency to drip in the past. However, the toilet overflowed. At least there was a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor so it didn’t last. The tacos and salad we ordered were cooked properly. There are no complaints about the quality of the food. It came out quickly(although there were barely any customers left at the time of night that we ordered). They seem not to pay attention to anyone that sits there for a long time, since we observed a guy with a laptop sitting for hours and we played a few board games with a member of our party playing and reading the cards extremely loud and dramatically.

The meat looked and tasted like cow intestines dragged through sewage and then fed to a viking who had diarrhea and then the Jack in the Box employees fished it out of the toilet to serve on your taco!

All the Jack in the Box locations around here are good. One of the last consistent fast food places in the area. Every visit here at any time results in well cooked food. The service is pretty good at this location too. Not as good as others but still helpful. They always remember to ask about sauce multiple times and they also remember to put it in the bag. Great job in Tustin and Irvine Jack. As for my visit last night around 11:30pm, the sour dough jack was excellent and they were fresh curly fries. Person at the window was new but still made it thru fine.

Drive-thru experience around 11:30pm. The attendant taking my order sounded pretty annoyed; perhaps he was in a hurry. I’m sure he was busy because he was alone, but I was a little off guard by his annoyed tone. Never tried the Munchie Meal so I gave it a shot and tried the Brunch Burger Meal. This includes: curly fries; french fries; 2 tacos; soda; and a croissant burger with egg, burger, cheese, bacon, and a hash brown. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal were the tacos(they weren’t really good tacos, but there was a sauce that made it a decent tasting taco compared to tacos that other fast food burger places serve). Warning: they are pretty messy from the sauce — they leaked through the brown bag and got all over my shirt. The burger itself was alright, but the hash brown was so greasy and fried crispy that it was kind of overwhelming the burger. So much going on that I didn’t know what I was tasting. Who knows… maybe it was the 1708 calories clouding my mind. BUT…I am also aware that not many people would willingly order these meals while sober(I have no idea why I did haha). For those who are under the influence, prepare to melt your mind with greasy, salty joy.

This is a nice, clean JITB. Interior is nicely arranged with an open floor plan. Kids had the grilled cheese kid meals with curly fries. They enjoyed it. My wife had the fajita pita, she didn’t really enjoy it. Said it was a bit salty. Don’t get fajitas at a burger joint. I had the grilled sourdough cheesesteak. It was ok. Sauce was dripping all over the place, but no real complaints. Gave it four stars because of the staff and the appearance and upkeep of the location.

This location is ok. There is a lady that I believe is the day time manager. She has no people skills. Delivers her service in a poor manner. The tacos I ordered were soggy in the center and were mediocre. The rest of my order was ok.

Good food(even though it is fast food). The drive thru attendant was kind of unprofessional and seemed like he wanted to get the order taken quickly but I guess I can’t expect too much from a fast food joint. Located near a subway, albertsons, and other places to eat, it’s a good location to have just in case you feel like eating anything else. It’s store is kept clean although the bathrooms were not as clean. This is a good jack in the box. I’d give it a five if it weren’t for the poor customer relations.

This JITB location is one of the most cleanest I ever encountered. The menu is regular, price is the same. But the place is super clean and there’s not a lot of visitors. So it’s a perfect place to get your wuick bite.

I’m not sure exactly what other Unilocalers are expecting from a JITB. The food is tasty even though it’s very bad for you. They screw up my order occasionally, but… it’s Jack in the Box. The people making my meal are getting minimum wage or so, and it’s a fast food place. I don’t expect ambiance or perfect service. I expect a fast, cheap meal. They turn the smoothie machines off at 10pm-ish, so even if they’re open late at night just keep that in mind. The smoothies are one of my favorite things, so I’ve been disappointed when I wanted a late night smoothie.

I like this Jack in the Box… They have never screwed up my order — and I always use the drive thru. That seems to be a big challenge with fast food places… but this one is good :) And they honestly have the friendliest staff in their drive through. When I pay with my credit card, they call me by my first name… they are very friendly, make conversation… its a nice change!

I was feeling adventurous a couple mornings ago and decided to see if I could bike the 5 miles or so to get to this Jack In The Box at the Northpark Plaza Shopping Center. It was my gf who inspired me with the idea, but I was the crazy one who said, «sure!» The morning was late, but we weren’t worried since Jack in the Box serves breakfast all day(yeah, crazy I know… I had just figured that out). On top of all that, we had a coupon that came in the mail earlier in the week that said«Buy a Chorizo Sausage Burrito and get a burrito free of equal or lesser value.» So we figured to have an adventure and see if we could bike it. We made the plan, got our bikes out of the garage and headed off. The morning air was still very cold(Is Winter here?). As we biked, I began to notice my knuckles go numb and my eardrums begin to throb in pain from the cold. We pushed on, in hopes of the glorious Jack in the Box burritos that would be waiting. The first problem we discovered was that the Northpark Plaza Shopping Center has no bike racks. At least none we could find after riding around for 5 minutes there. We did the typically plan B and locked up to a bench bolted to the ground. Classy I know. Anyway, Jack in the Box had just a couple of customers, one of which looked homeless. I know you’re thinking«no way, this is Irvine,» but my gf was pretty sure. We got a Chorizo Sausage Burrito and a Meaty Breakfast Burrito, and decided that we best eat it outside. After the freezing cold bike ride, the Chorizo Sausage Burrito was amazingly satisfying and full of flavor. It tasted like delicious Mexican food but half the price. The Meaty Breakfast Burrito, on the other hand, was very bland, uneventful and quite boring. It needed salt, it needed more cheese, and… well, it just needed flavor. The hash browns were like always – good but needing more salt. I think the problem is the lack of a cool salt shaker like McDonalds has. When you go to a McDonalds(where the french fries station is always in sight) you see the amazing waterfall-like salt shaker the employees use on the fries. Maybe Jack in the Box food wouldn’t taste so bland in they had that. However, that would but a damper on your health, but no one’s really counting when you go fast food anyway… right? Note to self – weather outside is not the same as the weather inside during my daily gym run. Next time, a beanie will suffice. Next time, Carl’s Jr.
