Ok so the pizza is expensive but well worth every bite! I have been coming to Lamppost Pizza since I was a kid but I don’t remember paying $ 25.99 for a small pizza… Well, I will be back whenever my sister-in-law is babysitting(she lives across the street.)The pizza was awesome but what really stood out was the service. The cashier at the front had patience with my complaining and Jessica was a total doll! She packed up our food and did everything with a smile. I never write Reviews on Unilocal but she deserved one. Thank you Jessica and the blonde cashier! You were both so nice to me and my daughter

Passing through IRVINE we decide to stop here. GREAT pizza but I must say the jalapeños were so SPICY! Not a negative thing that just tells me they are crash and not pickled. Great job. When am back in this area I will stopping again

Well, just shut down last night for cockroaches. Yep, check it out. They continued to serve food when managers knew about the nasty things. Found out they were even in the bar area! Now, when they continue to serve food and drinks to their customers knowing that minor detail, I can’t imagine what else goes on because of their greed!

Wow, 13 years later still on culver as well as the other one on yale loop… Definitely lunchtime hot spot for Irvine high, packed from wall to wall. Came back about 1 or 2 years ago, enjoyed my first time as a patron over 21, enjoyed my first brew from them and it was pretty good and I dont care for beer. I didn’t pay so I didn’t pay attention to prices as my friends are amazing. Overall I’ve enjoyed growing up with lampost, so many memories and unforgettable moments made at this little corner pizza spot!

My husband and I were in the area yesterday when we drove by. We had heard that this place was really good so we decided to have dinner here. The staff is very friendly and he even let us know of a deal that they were having to save us money which is great. The pizza was delicious, hot and fresh, we really enjoyed it and we’re so happily stuffed after. We would love to return again soon.

Came for football and asked if our game would hlbe on with sound and we’re told yes. We sat down and decided what to eat for about 20 minutes. When it was time for our game to start, weer asked for it to be turned on and a guy refused. He said the girl was wrong and he’s the manager, so what he says goes. We missed kick off and half the first quarter because of that. The«manager» was super rude, and i will never go back.

Just left this place. Called in for pick-up, and they said ready in 15 minutes. 15 minutes turned into ONEHOUR! Idiots then said the pizza was ready, but they«didn’t see it». So, my pizza had been sitting there all this time. I don’t care about prices… as I see a lot of people on here complain about, but if you’re gonna be a dummy and not have order, then you lost another customer.

Prices aren’t that great, I’ve had better pizza at the other locations. The location is great tho. Never really thought you could go so wrong with pizza but there’s always that place that proves you wrong. I was gonna give more stars but then things starting drifting towards no stars, sorry. The staff seems to do whatever they feel . The employee that really stood out is wendy . I’d only come in if she’s working because I could trust her service. She seems actually down to Earth and someone I can actually communicate with there. I saw her cleaning and I am like wow is she the only one that cleans this place because when she’s not here it is a mess . The doors open and close real good.

This is a great place to pick up an affordable pizza and salad. If you come here for lunch, be sure to get here before 11:20 am or you will be waiting in line behind the high school students.

Pizza and beer, what can go wrong? Well it is expensive as others have mention, but their pizza which we ordered — chicken Alfredo sauce is really good. I only come here at night with friends to watch the game. Beer selections are great as well. I just like how its a really casual place, less hectic as if going to BWW. Their salads are ok, nothing fancy or unique. The pizza is worth the wait though, its fresh still hot and really delicious!(:

If you went to school in Irvine, played sports as a young person in grade school in Irvine, then this place probably holds a special place in your heart. Back home in the Bay Area, we had Round Table Pizza that basically was the«celebration» location for victories in peewee basketball and football, and this place holds that same tradition down in Southern California. How do I know? It is constantly packed with throngs of children in athletic uniforms, and their parents buying pizza for their kids, and beers for themselves. it ist he reserved tables, hopefully for that championship win you just came from… but probably from that defeat you can now sulk in a big slice of pie. It’s the smell of pizza, and the sight of pitchers that scream my childhood team parties. The low down… The pizza is good: crispy, fresh and hot. Oh, and the Anchovies are free(if you ask nicely). Prices are on part with that of BJ’s, About $ 20 for a small single topping. They also have wings, salads etc. which are on par with most pizza places, satisfactory. I like their garlic bread and their calzones. If that’s a bit out of your price range to share, they have specials for lunch, like $ 3/slice, or 2 Slices and a drink for like $ 9. Dinner specials, *YOUGOTTAASKORTHEWONTGIVEITTIYOU* range from $ 3 off a large, etc. Make sure to ask for the discount on their board, or it will be ignored. Can watch the games here, and during peak times like NBA Playoffs, NFL Playoffs, NHL Playoffs, World Cup, this place can get packed… so plan accordingly. TV’s surround the area. No sound though. Kids running the place are nice. They’re making their some money to go out with friends while they are in high school. Treat them nicely, and you’ll be treated just fine(The plight of a young worker!) Overall, great place. Especially when you have the Vaqueros Cash Card…

I’m going to start with the bad qualities first to get things out of the way. The pizza isn’t anything special and damn near everything on the menu is overpriced. Parking can be a problem at times, it’s an older shopping center near a bank, grocery store and other crap in the area. The layout in the restaurant is fine, they could go for some better games but I’m sure all the kids who show up and don’t wash their hands will jam up the buttons anyways. I never go here during lunch because there’s too many high school kids running around. It can get crowded inside, it seems like a spot people go to hang out with friends. Since it’s usually busy and the workers are busy with multiple customers, I’ll have to get up and find the condiments myself. They usually rush anything delivery or take-out, I rarely get enough sauce if I order spaghetti, if you don’t eat the garlic bread right away it gets soggy and tastes terrible. These are all basically a ton of first world problems, this place is in Irvine, people in this city drive cars that are worth more than most houses in the US. Otherwise, I like this place. It’s usually clean, the workers are far from lazy and they never screw up my order. The best thing to do is dine in, they’ve been much more generous with my orders and work for that tip. Nobody seems to be in a bad mood, and there’s plenty of television screens that you can request to have the channel changed. The awesome part about this place is the wings and beer. They have their own brewery, and the more beers you order the better the wings get. It’s a casual place, I’ve never had any problems or complaints about the workers and I can enjoy watching a few games as well. The atmosphere is pleasant, which is a rare thing to find in this city. I recommend this place if you want to have a few drinks with your friends, and the wings are obviously my favorite item on the menu. Oh and minus 1 star for the people who bring their dogs here.

Ugh I have went to Lamppost a million times in my life… mostly to their Palos Verdes location which always did me right and made great pie… The pizza here was just lacking in every way… the crust was floppy, the sauce had no spice to it, the cheese was blah… def not good quality mozzarella… the toppings were really bland also. The Red IPA was tasty, but not anything I would come out of my way for. The Upside to this place is it has the really long communal style tables which are good for really large groups. If I had a softball team or kids soccer then this would def be a good location for that. That being said, I hope I am not being too harsh, but I guess you get what you pay for, but really it wasn’t that tasty… and pizza is my fave so it doesnt take much to please me,

This place sells your typical affordable pizza. Very convenient place to come for lunch. They have specials on a board you can choose from. The food is out promptly as well. Plenty of seating during lunch time as well. They have huge long tables to sit in. Perfect for large groups.

Really… REEEEAAAAAALLLLYYYYYYY expensive. Pizza is good and fresh and ingredients are fresh and of good quality. I understand that the quality accounts for the cost, but it‘s still not an affordable easy dinner. What really disappoints me is that they used to have fresh basil leaves for the margarita pizza, but not they only have dried leaves from a bottle. Tastes really bad and the margarita pizza was our favorite. Buffalo wings are huge and spicy. I wouldn‘t really qualify them as real buffalo wings, but they‘re still good and I‘d get them more often than not. Pasta dishes are pretty bland and the italian sausages are kind of weird. Sure they‘re huge, but I‘d rather smaller with less gristle. Sandwiches are fairly blah. You‘d be better off walking to Togo‘s and ordering an Italian combo or something while you‘re waiting for your pizza. Service is usually very peppy and attentive, but once in a while, the person at the register is the most unfriendly, angry, discontented person in the 949. I‘ve encountered friendlier gas station attendants. That one sour grape really ruins it for the bunch. We never eat there so I can‘t comment on the atmosphere, but while waiting for our order, we have sat at the bar once and it was pretty uncomfortable. Bartender was great, but the people there were not. We won‘t ever go to the bar again. Smoking IS allowed on their enclosed patio and it‘s HORRIBLE when the smoke wafts in each and every time someone opens the door. Hideous. Tables and benches are kept generally clean, but floors aren‘t. We‘d definitely order more often if the fresh basil came back, but after they got rid of that, our patronage has all much ceased. But business won‘t hurt since most people don‘t look for light pizza; they‘re looking for stuff like their specialities which are so heavy that the slices are near impossible to pick up. We‘ll be back again, but can‘t say when. Oh well.

Lampost is a fun joint. For starters, this place is expensive. Large peperoni + 20 pcs chicken wings = $ 40 Add booze, sodas et all, bill was over $ 75. Large Pizza is 16″ In perspective, that’s the size of the average automobile rim. The pizza isn;t too bad but flavor wise, its an upgraded version of Costco pizza. Chicken wings were amazing. The staffer recommended double fried for the extra crisp and i couldn’t thank her enough. The service was beyond exquisite and everyone was kind, helpful and nice which appears rare. This place is über family friendly with a bar and over 12 TVs. Today was awesome cause they had four games on, two local and three of them I watched. 1. Ducks playing. Won in OT against Dallas in Game 6 where they scored two goals in under 3 min or something. 2. NBA playoffs, watched most of the Nets v. Tor game and all of the Rockets v. Blazers OT win. 3. Halos @ Bronx. Tanaka was pitching and he looked good 4. College baseball. no one cared.

My favorite pizza joint outside of NY’s Grimaldis. This place is great. — Try a pizza with Pepperoni, bacon, and fresh garlic. — Ask for a side of melted garlic butter sauce and buffalo hot sauce(to dip your pizza in) #NOMNOMNOM — Various Pizza deals everyday — They brew their own stuff here; Backstreet Brewery is the name of their own beer. — They also serve a dozen [non-Backstreet Brewery] craft beers ONTAP! They even have Sculpin IPA and Lagunitas IPA on tap! A++++++++ — Employees are really friendly and welcoming — Outside patio is dog-friendly(for well-behaved pups). — Buncha TVs and huge projector for the games — Plenty of parking

I came here to get my points for a United Dining promo. Ordered the big pizza to get the $ 3 off and have some leftovers for lunch the next day! Dining strategy, right there! The All-Star Chicken 16″ gives you 12 slices of Mozzarella Cheese, Olive Oil, Chicken Breast, Fresh Garlic, Tomato & Avocado. It’s a bit bland and as I was eating it I was thinking about the The Whole Nine Yards(Mozzarella Cheese, Pepperoni, Ham, Sausage, Mushroom, Bacon, Onion, Bell Pepper & Olive). Note to self: pizza needs sausage! We ordered at the bar and got a beer to wash things down with. The pizza comes in thin, regular and deep pan. The regular was a bit doughy for me, esp. as the toppings didn’t reach the edge. I’d try the thin crust next time. And who knows about the pasta and other dishes. Although, the chicken wings seem a bit pricey. This place opens till 10pm which is great for Irvine.
