I didn’t realize this place was located in an office complex. This place probably makes a killing during the lunch time rush but I came here for dinner with some friends to find an awesome burger and we did. The seating is minimal and it consists of bar stool type seating. I was also impressed with how the owner came over to every patron and asked how everything was, I always appreciate when the owner comes out and talks to their customers. Also, there is free parking with stamp. The food: The Karma Burger– Karma sauce, American Cheese with Bacon + Egg. We made this a combo with the fries and lemonade. The burger was awesome. It was really nicely cooked, the flavor was great and it was really juicy. I am normally not a steak fry person but the one here was made well, they had a nice crispiness and were not greasy. We asked for garlic mayo and it was freaking so good, it was excellent but pungent, pungent like very garlicky pungent. I don’t really mind but I could see how people would be turned off by this, but I liked the garlic mayo on both the fries and burger. The bacon was almost not necessary since it didn’t really elevate the dish but the runny egg was good. Lastly, the bread was like a brioche bun and it was a great bun for the burger, it was nice and soft with a nice chew, good choice on their bread. Strawberry Basil Lemonade– The lemonade was so awesome, it was super refreshing and not too sweet or too sour. The mint was such a wonderful addition, it added such a nice flavor to the strawberry and the lemonade. This is a must.

after years of not visiting, mick’s karma burger is just as good as i remembered. the patty is perfection. it’s extremely flavorful and that’s why i prefer to get the original vs other options. though other burgers are equally tasty. the bf and i got the original and baja to share and it was also yummy! the guac complemented the patty really well. the bf has pretty difficult to please taste buds thanks to me, but he gave his stamp of approval for mick’s karma! the steak fries? amazing without being under or overcooked. the strawberry basil lemonade was pretty watered down for us this time. it lacked in the lemonade area because it tasted more like strawberry basil water… there were much more outdoor seating than i remembered… and much more sun umbrellas for shade! it really is a beautiful picturesque place for outdoor dining and business people watching :) need to make a mental note to come back more often!

Don’t eat here! I ordered a burger well done & it wasn’t even cooked all the way! I called & complained and they said they would make me a new burger and I could pick it up in 20 mins. I picked up my burger, came to my office only to see that this new burger still wasn’t cooked all the way! Needs to say, I called and asked for a refund!

Mick’s Karma Bar is the reason why I’m not in a relationship with my ex-girlfriend anymore. One day I suggested that we go eat at Mick’s and she said«that place sucks». That was the moment I realized I didn’t love her anymore. Thank you to the Habanero Burger with eggs and bacon and the delicious strawberry basil lemonade, I am no longer wasting my time with that devil of a woman.

Just aight… The strawberry basil lemonade is refreshing since they make it with real strawberries rather than food coloring like most places do. I could literally find chunks of strawberries muddled in my drink, which I like. But the fries were so dry. And the Karma burger… just aight. The patty had a nice char to it, but the other ingredients were typical and nothing out of the ordinary. Also, portions were small for the prices you’re paying. Finished everything regardless but left feeling hungry and wanting more.

When I crave burgers it’s either In n Out or Micks! Tip: Park in the structure and get your ticket validated at Micks and it’ll be free! What I ordered: I love spicy foods! The habanero burger immediately caught my eye. The cashier also gave us two different dipping sauces for our fries. Totally recommend asking for it because it’s good dipping sauce for your burger as well. Price: Around $ 10 for a combo

Again, I have to say I LOVEMICK’S! I had two very excellent cashiers/servers named Robert and Xavier. They were so sweet and attentive to our large party! Definitely upped my love for Mick’s. I’ll probably come back just to see them ^___^ As for the food, always top notch! Never a disappointment. I got the Habanero burger combo with their world famous STRAWBERRYBASILLEMONADE. Absolutely LOVE this cute burger joint right in the middle of the corporate offices of Irvine!(They have a great view of a water fountain/sculpture!)

Great burgers!!! My family and I love this place! They get the Karma burgers with added bacon. YUP, I said it, added bacon! And extra Karma sauce and Garlic aioli. I get the Patty Melt with no mustard. The cheese and grilled onions are just soooo good. We order take out a lot! And they have online ordering which is really convenient. Their outdoor seating isn’t the greatest, but we order takeout anyway haha. And their strawberry basil lemonade! Can’t forget that. I have noticed though, that they don’t add as much basil and the basil flavor isn’t as prominent. But still refreshing.

I like that it’s a little hidden, kills the traffic and wait times quite a bit. It is in the middle of a business complex, so it gets pretty busy during the lunch hours. Sometimes I like In-N-Out and sometimes I want something more authentic. The burgers are always cooked to my liking and the natural cut fries are really good. There’s tons of outdoor seating, but not a lot of indoor seating. You do have to ask for utensils if you need it, or extra sauce. Recommendations: Habanero burger & strawberry basil lemonade.

Came back to give Micks another shot and was pleasantly surprised. This time the patty wasn’t mushy and everything tasted great — the strawberry basil lemonade is so good! They moved to the space next door which has a much larger dining area inside. Great customer service from Amin as well. Definitely a quality meal for $ 10!

I hadn’t been to Mick’s in years, but I’m glad to see that the food is just as good as I remember. Don’t think the prices have changed either, but the burgers do seem a bit smaller. If it’s your first time, I recommend the Karma Burger($ 5.95); the mayo that’s in the burger is delicious! If you like burgers that have a kick to it, try the Habanero Burger($ 6.75). I don’t think it’s super spicy, but I can’t take much heat so I always stick with the Karma Burger. Definitely make it a combo if you’re already planning to get their famous strawberry basil lemonade since the price of the drink is close to the price of making it a combo($ 3.50). Who doesn’t like fries with their burger anyways! You order at the counter and they’ll bring your food to you. Not much seating available inside, but plenty outside. It’s located in a business complex so it probably gets busy for lunch on the weekdays. I went on a Saturday for lunch and it wasn’t that busy. Parking is in that business complex’s garage, which is validated during the weekdays and open on the weekends. Anyways, delicious food. I’ll be back!

Solid burger place tucked away between giant office buildings. You can park in the parking structure and they will validate your ticket, just ask! I’m not sure if it gets crowded but I came here on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy. I had the burger with blue cheese and shrooms and it was delicious — add a couple more dollars to make it a combo with fries and strawberry lemonade to make it even better. Overall, a good burger place but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. I’ll be sticking to Peter’s gourmade, in n out, or hopdoddy.

Mick’s Karma Bar is nestled inside of a business plaza next to a couple of other restaurants. You will need to park in the structure, and Mick’s is only a short walk away! You’ll probably be able to identify it right away because there is always a line out the door. There are only a couple of seats inside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. Unique, colorful sculptures are nearby, as well as a fountain, creating a really nice atmosphere! Food: — Karma Burger — Sirloin steak patty, American cheese, lettuce, Roma tomato, thin sliced red onion, and Karma sauce on a soft bun… so good! Make it a combo to include fries and a drink. — Add the Breakfast Special — This puts an egg and bacon on your burger for added deliciousness! — Fries — Thick cut and served with a tasty garlic mayo sauce. Yum! — Strawberry Basil Lemonade — Whole strawberries crushed. Super refreshing!

This little hidden gem is my favorite place to get burgers here in Irvine. It’s affordable, you get a lot of food, and it’s mouth-wateringly delicious! If you frequent here often, you might even catch a glimpse of the owner, Mick, and talk to him about his wonderful burger joint. The place is filled with humorous art, and although its small, there is a lot of outdoor seating. It’s peaceful, since the restaurant is located in a business park, which means parking can be tough, but Mick’s validates parking. I’ve tried all the burgers, and there isn’t one I don’t like(although, I’m partial to the Baja Burger because of the avocado). I recommend getting the meal and trying one of their many signature drinks, my favorite being the basil strawberry lemonade. It can be tough to find at first, since you need to find the right parking structure etc. etc. but it’s well-worth it!

Got the«protein style» Karma burger with a fried egg, thick-cut bacon and avo, with fries. Let me break it down: * The biggest star for their lettuce! I don’t know where they get their lettuce from, but I was pretty passionate about it. Deep green colors and crunchy. * Another star for location — thankfully it’s walking distance from my work and it’s also a beautiful outside setting. * Meat was pretty good — standard I’d say. Thank god I got the fried egg. It really added juiciness to the whole thing. * Negative star for advertising their bacon as «thick-cut». * Another negative star for their actual bacon resembling something sold at Del Taco or Burger King. I could see through it. * Fries were good, but not consistent. I’d continuously eat a fresh fry, then a stale fry. I’ll actually probably go back here. It’s a cute place and it changes things from the day-to-day lunch meal.

Inside of a corporate complex with no street signage, how does a little place like this get so much business and so many Unilocal reviews? Answer: serve well-priced and good quality food while putting out good Karma vibes. What would ordinarily be open for breakfast and lunch at the first floor of a corporate complex, is still open late each day and serving loads of burgers each night. Small menu of mainly burgers but with great names and combinations such as The Karma Burger, Habanero, The Roaring 40’s, and The Baja. Counter ordering service that’s both fun and lively. Order, pay, take a number, and sit down… but where? A small amount of seating inside, it’s mostly taking it outdoors in front of the nice fountain and little body of water. Not grassy but corporate-like and really nice to sit in front of. A combo with the burger, fries, and drink was a whopping $ 11 for with the upgrade of Strawberry Basil Lemonade(4.5 stars). The Habanero Burger(chile’s, garlic mayo, lettuce and tomato topped with queso fresco on bun No 19) and fries, well, I gobbled it all up… and had nothing left but ketchup on my plate. Yes, it was really good and for that price, excellent. Not Top 25 on the«Berger Knows: Burgers» list, but within the Top 50( ). Meat and bun need improvement to get higher on this aficionados list. Kind of minimal service upon delivery and while dining, but that goes along with the overall corporate dining, I suppose. I don’t know if I would go out of my way for Mick’s, but if you are in the area, heavy like. It’s not a bar, or a pub, or sitdown place to watch sports. So what is it? A little café serving good burger grub.

Classic burgers that are fresh, simple and delicious! I’m typically not a burger person, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like burgers. After hearing about Mick’s from several friends, I decided to drop by for a visit. KARMABURGER [3.5/5]: It was your average cheese burger with karma sauce on it, but it IS good for an average cheese burger though. I love the buns and the patty is so juicy! I added bacon, egg and avocado to it… which made it a 3.5 instead of the average 3. SWISSBURGER [5/5]: There was extra bacon, egg, and avocado added to this burger as well. This burger was so loaded and juicy! The best one out of the two that I got. There’s so much flavor in it that I don’t think I was ready to finish the burger… Haha! FRIES [4/5]: Great fries, comes with garlic dipping sauce. I’d recommend dipping it in the karma sauce though. Yummy! STRAWBERRYBASILLEMONADE [5/5]: This drink really lived up to its hype! Chunks of strawberry and some basil in it… not too sweet– just right! I had to get one and another for to go! Overall, the restaurant was clean and service was great. It’s a nice lunch area and I would come here again if I’m around the area.

They gave me ten pence for change. When i told them, they gave me a quarter and let me keep the ten pence. How cool is that? They changed their logo to afe now since they’re part of a franchise now. The music was good, it matched the vibes of the place.

Hey so even though I could’ve, should’ve, would’ve gone to Haches first, I didn’t. It took me a trip down to SD and back for me to think of finally stopping by Mick’s after a couple of failed attempts(the first time was an embarrassing sequence of trying to find it in the dark by driving around the complex). But after reading enough of my fellow Unilocaler’s reviews and remembering to park in the parking structure off of Main whose entrance is directly next to El Toritos Grill, someone who was walking in the same general direction told me which building to go around on the outside, I finally made it(there’s a large fountain in front of it if that helps)… It was smaller than I imagined, even after reading about it. Still, there was no line as it was between 2 and 3pm on a Thursday afternoon. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly dude behind the counter. It must have been sort of obvious that it was our first time by our subtle clues, like staring at the large blackboard menu behind and above him, he took the time to brief us on how the menu worked and we were ready to go… Wifey doesn’t do the most common choices for first timers, she doesn’t need to follow the crowd; she ordered the Baja combo with a Mojito Ice T. I tasted her burger and the guac had a little spicy heat that lingers on the tongue but only if you weren’t expecting it. Otherwise it was a solid burger with pepperjack on a nice sturdy bun. The combo comes with dinner fries that were nicely done and your choice of any of their signature homemade drinks. I liked the minty fresh flavor of her sweetened iced green tea. There was fresh lime and lots of fresh mint, so much that the dregs would occasionally lodge themselves in the straw… Since she didn’t order it I felt obligated to try their signature Karma Burger and the much heralded Strawberry Basil Lemonade. There was lots of fresh Thai basil in the beverage and it had a tangier, more tart taste than the Mojito Iced T, but it was fine. Between the two, I think I preferred the minty flavor of her drink more, but the Lemonade was very good too. Not too sure what’s in the karma sauce, maybe sour cream or crème fraîche but it was a very well executed basic lettuce, tomato, american cheese burger. I really like how the bun holds up and keeps everything together so well… Now that I’ve finally tried it, there wasn’t very much not to like about the food. I would certainly eat at Mick’s again, but not as much as I would if it felt a little more accessible both in terms of parking and taking a chance that there wouldn’t be any room to eat in…

Holla if you wanna eat the best burgers in OC! HOLLLERRRS This place gives such picture perfect burgers you would think its photoshop. For all you instagram junkie, feel free to take pictures of these dank burgers. I always get the Habernero burger. which contains their patty that they MAKE. Gosh, people actually make burger meat still? Thought those stone age days were over! LOL jk, its definitely not over but highly endangered. So I always appreciate the work that’s invested into a real home made burger. They made this really killer sauce that went into my burger. Hint of spice, hint of love, and everything nice. The bread. not too sure if its homemade, but its def fresh. and it just holds everything together so well. you wont be turning and tilting your head eating this burger. Because its stacked to perfection. ANDDDD of course the strawberry lemonade is super refreshing. People probably Unilocal about that a lot huh? Then I wont get into details. Everyone here was super friendly. Because if they weren’t, this review would have been nothing but insults. Ha! Good job Mick. You guys are hella hidden though, come out and play in the light sometimes.
