Came here after a long day of traveling and it was the only decent menu opened at midnight that was semi healthy. Ordered turkey burgers and a steak for all of us and it was really good! I recommend it for a late night eats

Ashley was great. Super busy with a large crowd but Ashley’s effort and great customer service was 5 star.

I was going to write something, and a Rhiannon B took the words write off my keyboard: «This is in the hotel, so unless you are staying at the place, you have no reason to eat here. This is not a destination restaurant.» At breakfast, they have a decent breakfast buffet for $ 17. For lunch and dinner, the menu is very small — smaller than it should be. The service, perhaps, is the best thing offered here. If you’re on premises at the Wyndham Hotel, they have you kinda captured. Alternatives if you have time for a little stroll: Mick’s Burgers and McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks.

This is in the hotel, so unless you are staying at the place, you have no reason to eat here. this is not a destination restaurant. My mom and I were at the Wyndham for a conference over the weekend so we popped down during the lunch break. Mom’s a veggie, so her options were REALLY restricted(just think a salad with no meat, or a grilled veggie plate). BUT she said her salad was good. On the other hand, I had a tuna melt and it was just bleh. Not memorable, not terrible. I wouldn’t order it again and I certainly don’t think it was worth $ 11, but it served a purpose and I wasn’t hungry anymore. Service was really fast – almost too fast, but they may have been trying to be helpful because the conference only gave us an hour. In short – if you are at the hotel and hungry, it will serve a purpose, but if you have other choices, I’d say explore them…

Checked into Wyndam last night and we ordered the kobe burger and lobster mac with desserts of apple pie and cheesecake. The burger was extremely dry and tasteless. The lobster mac was disgusting… worse than a frozen dinner and it smelled and tasted fishy. The apple pie was cold and crunchy. Only the fries and cheesecake could have been considered edible. We were tired and hungry so we split the fries using all the little ketchup bottle and the ate the cheesecake. This was the absolute worst meal we have had at any hotel, any where. We will not stay in this hotel again because of last nights meal.

Worst service ever. 90 minutes for my son and I to have a burger and soup/salad. They got the order wrong even. Two waiters and they still couldn’t get it together. Soooo bad!

We had food brought in to our office from here and all the food looked great. The beef sliders and the fruit were probably my favorites! Fruit was sweet and fresh and the simplicity of the sliders made it simply delicious(just the patty and grilled onions!). The veggies were grilled but cold. Not sure how I feel about that … It wasnt horrible but its not seething I would recommend. I prefer my grilled veggies hot. The turkey roll ups were good, kind of bland because they don’t put any dressing or spread in it. Overall a decent meal, nothing tasted horrible, but there was also nothing that got me excited to go back.

Fries are crunchy & fabulous… Excellent salads. Service was prompt, courteous. This is the little café inside the Irvine Wyndham Hotel.

Worst bar ever!!! My drink was way too expensive, watered down and tasted like cheap tequila. RICARDO the bartender did not attend to us. My drink was so nasty I downed it and waited for a beer but he was too busy chatting. It was only 11:25 and he calls for last call when it’s suppose to be open til midnight. At that point I rather just die of thirst then to drink anything else there.

We were staying at the nearby Embassy Suites and did not have a car, so we walked to the Wyndham to eat dinner at their restaurant, Paradise. I wouldn’t call this a restaurant, it’s more of a coffee shop. And I most certainly would not call it Paradise. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, but once our food was served we never saw him again until it was time to pay. We both ordered the Kobe burger with fries which arrived promptly with tomatoes, onions and pickles on the side. The pickles were fresh and crunchy. The fries were frozen, seasoned fries. The so-called Kobe burgers looked and tasted like regular burgers, there was nothing«Kobe» about it. Both burgers were dried out, they were like eating a bit of sand in each bite. Like so many others who have reviewed this coffee shop, we were disappointed and upset at having spent our hard earned money for a tasteless meal. Stay away! Go to El Torito Grill on Main St.(excellent!) a few blocks away. Go to Tuscany Grill in the office complex as you walk from the Wyndham to Main St. Go anywhere but to «Paradise» where you’ll surely find hell.

I had a chance to eat both lunch and dinner today at the Paradise Café, while staying at the Irvine Wyndham Hotel. For lunch I had the Mediterranean Salad. It was actually more of a Waldorf Salad, with cranberries, candied walnuts and apple slices, in a light dressing. I loved it! I had them add chicken to it and that was a great idea as the warm seasoned chicken added a nice contrast to the greens. I took my wife to dinner later in the day. We started with the Paradise Platter, an array of their top appetiziers that included marinated beef skewers served with a Ponzu sauce, coconut shrimp, fried calamari and seared Ahi. My wife ordered the Rib Eye steak. It was accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and grilled assorted vegetables. The steak was tasty and not overcooked. We took turns dipping it in the leftover Ponzu sauce, which was like a spicy soy sauce. I ordered a fettucini dish with shrimp in a spicy cream sauce. It was hot enough to make me sweat but was absolutely delicious. The noodles were served al dente and were served with diced tomatoes and fresh parmesan cheese. We took some dessert up to the room. They make their desserts fresh daily. We tried the Key Lime pie and the New York Cheesecake. They were both great but I really appreciated the Key Lime pie. Service at the Paradise Café is terrific. They also have a nice bar next door with a decent array of high quality liquor. The happy hour specials are worth checking out!

I have eaten the Paradise Café nachos twice now while sitting in the bar of the hotel. If you want better service don’t sit in the bar. The bartender/server does his best but service is still a little slow especially if they are bust. The first time I had the nachos they were excellent. The second time just ok.

Paradise is a euphemism here. In reality, it’s just another cookie cutter restaurant provided to keep its guests from having to roam outside hotel walls and search for something reasonably priced and good to eat. It’s for the rental car-deprived after all this is LA /Orange County and who ever heard of taking a walk there? Okay, I’ll stick to the subject matter. I was here for work and only patronized this place because I knew it would be hard to find much better or cheaper at the airport before my flight out. They have a meager looking buffet for $ 17(!) but being of a grazer’s appetite I opted for the Three Cheese Omelet, thinking that’s pretty hard to mess up… Yeah, I’m naïve. In their favor, the customer service is pretty attentive and the food comes pretty quickly but the guy at the table across from me had trouble flagging down his waiter and despite the fact that he asked for tea, they brought him coffee. Meh. The coffee had a vague urn-like flavor of which I could only down a single mug. The toast is wheat colored Wonder bread with an undefined spread on it. Hash browns were the best part but were obviously freezer denizens at one point in their life. The eggs were an example of the type of omelet that would get beat up in the school yard playing with other omelets. It was a plain omelet made up of three eggs and the«three cheese» part meant once slice each of some Kraft product masquerading as different cheeses congealed on top of it. For $ 17 this was a pretty sad, but to be sure, for that kind of cash, I scraped off the cheese product, scarfed down the hash and took the rest with me for the flight.

Ok, so I enjoy quasi-dumpy to dumpy hotels as long as they are clean and they try. I give it 3 stars in consideration of those who don’t. Tip one — eat in the(dumpy) bar. You can get the bar or dinner menu there, fast service and good drinks. They also have sports screens all around. The restaurant has always been deserted when I have been by there except for breakfast. Tip two — order the bar food. Nachos or burgers are good. Or, from the dinner menu, the pot stickers are great. Or the chicken piccata. Wine list is(very very) limited, but good prices by the bottle. Tip three — don’t expect four star dining in a three star hotel. For what it is it is good.

One star since I am unable to choose none or negative. Ate at the breakfast buffet, which incidentally does have what the menu says it has. My husband was excited that they had a craft of milk on ice, as he LOVES ice-cold milk! He poured a glass and on his way back to our table, took a big chug. ITWASSOUR!!! There was no place to spit it out, so he had to swallow it! There is NOTHING more disgusting than sour milk! He was sick all day, could not eat at the fancy dinner we were supposed to attend that night, and two days later, is still not feeling well. I think it is totally disgraceful that they could be so lackadaisical when it comes to the health & well-being of other human beings!

Been here several times, and the food is delicious! Last time I came my companion got the grilled shrimp Cobb, and he said it was delicious! The sliders are excellent with homemade chips. I got the lobster mac, and it was amazing… large whole chunks of lobster! It is very filling though, so expect leftovers! Next time ill go for the app portion on the menu. Not much by way of desserts, but this is a great lunch place to grab a quick bite of great food with a nice atmosphere! (PS Not sure what Amy D. is talking about, but I’ve also had their lettuce wraps and love em! As good as PF Chang’s)

That star really is a middle finger. I should have recognized the red flag when we walked in an the place was empty. I thought it was because we were early but no, no one else ever came. Well, one family came from upstairs, sat, looked at the menu, then got up and left. Their lettuce wrap looks like stuff left in the garbage disposal had been scooped up. The lobster mac and cheese is mac and cheese with two pieces of imitation lobster. I had a sandwich that made me want to barf. I didn’t even finish it. I left still feeling hungry… like I had not even eaten yet. Don’t come here. Even if you are starving and there is no other restaurant around, just keep starving.

I was tired and didn’t feel like driving around Orange County looking for a place for dinner so I ate at the Paradise Café which is in the Crowne Plaza Hotel where I was staying. The place only had one other customer so service was fast. No bread, soup or salad with the dinner. I didn’t care, I wasn’t that hungry but I was surprised. I ordered the Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Grilled Shrimp. It wasn’t bad for a restaurant that is listed as «American». Ok, maybe the food was 3 stars but there were a few problems with the service. 1) The waiter took my order, then another waiter came and confirmed my order. The second waiter was probably training the first but he asked if I wanted chicken or shrimp on my Spaghetti. 2) Both waiters acted like I should have ordered more. They both said…“Is that all you want?“ 3) Finally the last issue normally wouldn’t be a problem… They brought me Linguine instead of Spaghetti. I enjoyed the dish even if it needed more garlic but if you print up a menu to say«Spaghetti» you should serve Spaghetti or tell your customer that you ran out of Spaghetti and had to substitute Linguine. I love Linguine and I often judge an Italian Restaurant by their Linguine with clams but when I mentioned to the waiter that they didn’t serve me Spaghetti he argued with me. Even after he made me angry he was still trying to tell me that their Linguine was Spaghetti. This was stupid on his part because he reduced his tip and the restaurant he works for now has another poor review on Unilocal. Here’s a tip for all you waiters that can hardly speak English let alone Italian. When your Italian customer is telling you something about his Italian entrée. Don’t argue! What ever happened to «the customer is always right»? In this case I was right and every grandson or granddaughter of Italian immigrants knows the difference between Spaghetti and Linguine and anyone who thinks that the difference doesn’t matter probably eats Chef Boyardee anyway and they don’t count!

My group holds parties occasionally at this nice restaurant located in Crowne Plaza Hotel. I can’t speak for breakfast or lunch, as I have only eaten here for dinner. I have heard that the Sunday brunch is ok, but overpriced. We usually order off the appetizer menu, because they offer some tasty options at reasonable prices. I can’t pass up the sampler platter, which comes with calamari, seared tuna, beef skewers, and coconut shrimp, all of which are so yummy I am often tempted to order the meal version(s). Also a must have in the lobster macaroni and cheese. Lots of friends have had dinner there, and I have only heard good reports. The food is fresh and the presentation professional. I look forward to eating there when in the area. Side note, dinner is only served in the comfortable hotel lounge. There is a full bar and TV s for sports fans.

What a sad little restaurant. In a world where you can get so many tasty, afforable options for lunch. why waste your money on boring old-school food like this… Had a seminar I was attending and stopped by this place to grab a quick breakfast. the«starbucks» coffee they served me came in a generic styrofoam cup and lid and tasted like normal coffee. just more expensive. I asked for a croissant and they gave me one the size of a dinner roll. all for $ 5+. great. I came here for lunch too. their special was their soup and salad buffet that came w/two different soups and a small salad bar and some mac salad, some small shrimp salad, fruits and cookies for $ 10. I wanted to order a la carte. but the items seemed so boring. pot roast w/vegetables and mashed potatoes… salmon w/vegetables and mashed potatoes.$ 17…eh… soup and salad it is. can’t mess it up and might as well save some money. The food was around the same quality as a Sizzler salad bar. probably less since Sizzler has more food to offer at their buffets. With all the different options you have for lunch nowadays. why settle for some boring, overpriced food at a bland looking restaurant? This was a place me and my family used to eat at when we went on road trips to save some money… Walk down the block and have some thai food — two item special w/rice, egg roll and salad for $ 12… or at least have some flame broiler for $ 5. .go on
