I’ve gone to this place a few times for lunch and it’s great every time! I always forget to take a pic because I eat it too fast. The pizza’s have so much flavor and not like your average boring slice. The garlic knots are so good and delicious with the marinara sauce that give you. They are friendly and clean there and if I could, I’d eat there everyday lol

Wow this is some of the best pizza I have ever had. The place is a nice little joint with just a few tables but tons of outdoor seating. I go all the time their white pizza is amazing.

Ownership is rude. Staff is nice and on a weeknight the place seems like a good option but in reality it takes a long time to wait for food(20 minutes tonight) and there are better options really close by. I went to NY pizza cuz I’d been there in the past and didn’t want to risk the new Square One or the CPK across Jeffrey since both are new and I wasn’t sure how long the wait would be. But I certainly will be giving those a try next time! Can’t be difficult to beat $ 26 medium pepperoni pizza with breadsticks and super easy to do better than the impolite owner with tons of attitude. Im all for buying local but why patronize a small business if they are going to be rude?

This is our go to pizza spot. It’s super convenient and usually quick. The pizza is consistently good and they offer gluten free crust for no extra charge! The inside is small but there are a few tables to sit and enjoy a slice, but we always do take-out or delivery. They always have a great selection of pizza by the slice available. I believe they also offer pasta dishes, but we always stick to pizza and have never been disappointed!

This pizza is awful! The large 2-topping thin crust I ordered was $ 23, and not ready for pick up when I arrived at the designated time. The entire crust was wet & soggy & the cheese tasted like rubber. Terrible!

I love pizza by the slice since I can get a variety. My default is the white pizza with mozzarella and ricotta and sprinkles of pepper flakes. Their garlic knots are super garlicy and bready which I absolutely love. They use good sausage(nice and peppery) on their pepperoni and sausage pizza. They’re pizzas are already baked so you select the slice(s) you want and then the heat them in their oven, similar concept as Sbarro. There are great weekly lunch specials(2 slices of pizza and a drink for ~$ 6) which is a steal for Irvine prices. Cheese pizza is ~$ 3 and specialties are about ~$ 3.50. Good and quick easy grab.

Closest thing to NY pizza. Thin crust and wide slices that you can easily fold over — just how we like it. I can say that in earnestness being a Queens, NYNATIVE born and raised 18+ years strong. A lil’ pricey tho but I can expect that living in Irvine. You’re better off carrying out for a lesser price point. Order the pepperoni, artichoke, jalapeño with mushrooms, root for the Knicks and call it a mutha’fu#€n day.

Highlights + Great Service + Reasonable Prices + NY Style — Flavor I just ordered a slice of pizza and dined in. I had waited for a while and it turned out they forgot to take my pizza out of the oven. It was a bit burnt but still edible, but they offered me a whole new slice along with the slightly burnt one. The pizza just tasted like another pizza. The crust though was phenomenal as it was crunchy yet had substance. Overall I’d definitely go back.

Having owned 2 pizza parlours in the 80’s, I can categorically say they have the best pizza in Orange County.

NY’s Upper Crust Pizza will work in a pinch. NY’s Upper Crust Pizza has been churning out the pie for awhile now and although you will not confuse them with Lombardi’s in Little Italy NYC anytime soon, they have solid Pizza and very reasonable prices. I stopped in famished on a lunch break and ordered the #1 Lunch special(available weekdays only) that nets 2 pieces of Pizza and a soda for $ 6.99. That price is unheard of in south county. The pie itself is undoubtedly greasy, as the cheese top showcased pools of yellow oily liquid and the paper plate it arrived on had some areas saturated with grease as well. The marinara was quite good however, with a nice kick of basil in each bite and the perfect consistency of tomato paste. The Crust was also noteworthy, doughy on the inside, crusty on the outside and the crust to toppings ratio was spot on. In retrospect the marinara and crust were able to outshine the cheese’s greasiness, which is enough to put NY’s Upper Crust Pizza in the lead for Irvine’s pies. I suppose that is akin to being the world’s tallest midget but if I were to find myself in the area and fiending a slice, this would most likely be my best bet.

I’ve only gone here to get a slice(never ordered a full fresh pizza). On my most recent visit, I came in and looked at the array of pizzas available for a slice(around 10 choices) and picked pepperoni and mushroom. I also got a small cannoli and a Snapple lemon tea to drink. It’s a decent solid pizza and is satisfying in the taste department. For some reason the slices always seem exceptionally greasy so napkin-sopping is recommended. I personally think the crust could be more thin and crisp. Pass on the cannoli; it wasn’t very good. The shell had a «been in the refrigerator» taste, if you know what I mean. But the filling was okay, with a light cinnamon flavor. Too many tables crammed too closely together into the tiny interior but there is plenty of outdoor patio seating. The staff are friendly and cheerful; one even sang along to Don’t Stop Believin’ as it played over their sound system. Luckily she could carry a tune.
