This review is for the snow ice only. Shaved snow: — Thai tea snow w/red bean & taro pudding — weak Thai tea flavor and the snow itself is quite bland. disappointed! Price: — average. about what you’d pay for a shaved snow at other places. Service: — not very welcoming and nice. — they do have many other specialized chinese food. i have yet to try them. i will update again if i try anything new here.

The food here is really taste from Shan’xi province from China, even it is not really widely accepted in China, so I am not sure how American think of their food. I orginally from the place close to Shan’xi, so I really appreaciate they opened on here as kind of hometown food for me, I tried once and evaluate the food taste is basically as same as I had in China. The only point I am not really happy is the place has no promotion plan as new opened place, should not you guys get more attention?

The service and price are good. The Chinese hamburger of pork is very juicy and tasty! I like the all noodles and lamp soup. The cook was from China.

The«hamburger» is about the worst among the similar food in China. The filling only contains minced pork, which is neither juicy nor tasty. Cold noodle is fine, although each piece is much thicker than expected. Youpo noodle is okay, but the taste is a little mild. Cooking time is too long. For the three items above, we waited more than 30 minutes. In general, this place is a little pricey with regard to its food quality. I probably won’t come again.

凉皮和肉夹馍口味都非常正宗, 油泼面也很棒。 Authentic cold noodle and pork hamburger from Xi’an/China, 5 star taste, no where else to find in SoCal.

I wanted to try a few items but I was told the chef wasn’t working. What??? Who is doing the cooking then? I ended up trying the Ningxia cold noodle. It was only average at best. After Diho and this place, I left this little shopping center knowing I will not be coming back. What a waste of my time.

Tried lamb paomo and it’s great. They offer four dishes on menu I’ll try others next time. Small eatery focus on doing few specialty right and that’s my favorite place.

REALLY, this place is a must-try if all of you can get past the name, which is right next door to a veterinary clinic! Went to Rainbow Bridge a couple of days ago with one of my sons. It is a small shop with about six tables. Two employees were manning the shop that afternoon – both were very polite and helpful. The menu had four food items listed – its beverage list was more extensive. The prices were very reasonable. We both had the $ 8 combo with the small Ningxia cold noodles, Shanxi hamburger and black/green/winter melon tea. All were surprisingly delicious and filling. I’ve never had cold noodles before. The noodles were thick, chewy and flavorful especially when the homemade chili sauce, which was made that morning, is added. As much as I liked the hamburger, I’ll have to eat half of the bun next time – it was dense and a bit on the dry side. Their lightly sweetened green tea was refreshing. Will definitely try the Paomo with lamb or the beef noodle soup next time!

First of all it is a small shop. I went here to see how the food is and check out their special. Their was only two workers there so you have to be patient as they are working as hard as they can. The burger bread was dry, but the meat on it had okay flavors. I had the green tea, which was light on the sweetener or sugar so all you tasted was the tea. The cold noodle sauce was too salty for my taste and I don’t think in went well with the noodles and other components in the bowl. There was a pair that was next to me that ordered the lamb and from what I can tell they said it was good, and I could smell how good the lamb bowl was from my seat. If I come next time, it should be to try the lamb.

Guys… I can’t speak to the food. But please please improve your boba and tea drinks. One I recently bought… the honey green boba tea… boba tasted like plastic(maybe undercooked?) And the tea was nearly water. Honestly… little taste. I will come back to try if you let me me know you improved this. I have boba at least once a week. Always at café 302, tapioca express, 7leaves, tea station…

Rainbow Bridge is Irvine’s newest hole in the wall eatery that replaced the infamous PokiStation. The menu only includes four cooked items, which I would describe as «street-food», ranging from $ 4 to $ 6. All the dishes are authentic and homemade by a Chinese auntie from the Ningxia province of China. She wants the city of Irvine to have a taste of her hometown. The basic menu includes: 1. Ningxia Liangpi(Ningxia cold steamed wheat noodle) 2. Yang Rou Pao Mo(unleavened bread with lamb soup noodle) 3. Rou Jia Mo(Shaanxi meat hamburger) 4. Red Braised Beef Noodle Before I came to Rainbow Bridge, I was looking forward to try the liangpi because I like wide noodles and I was interested in the liangpi’s starchy texture. I had seen them sold at night markets during the past few years(626 Night Market and Richmond Night Market). However, since it had been raining for the past few days and the liangpi is served cold, I decided to wait until the summertime to try it. Instead, I ordered the pao mo, which is a «local flavor» lamb soup commonly eaten in Xi’an, capital of the Shaanxi province. Lamb and mutton are famous ingredients in this region of China. One sentence description of the pao mo: carb-heavy dish that includes torn pieces of unleavened bread soaked into a very rich lamb broth. The pao mo includes wide translucent noodles, thinly chopped bell peppers, cilantro, and slices of braised lamb with more distinctive gamey flavor and wine-richness compared to American lamb. I was familiar with the individual ingredients used, but it was the first time I had ever seen this combination in a Chinese dish, particularly bread dipped in a broth. I enjoyed most aspects of this bowl, especially the robust flavors in the lamb broth that does not include MSG as advertised. It takes hours of labor to create such a broth that is rich and full of meaty flavors without being oily. The glass noodles were wide, thin, and slippery, almost like oiled hor fun but translucent and more smooth. The bread… I didn’t care much about, it did add some chewiness but provided no additional flavor. I think the bread only served as an agent to soak up the lamb-flavored soup. While I was eating, I watched the restaurant’s TV that broadcasted a demo of how to prepare the rou jia mou. The chef at Rainbow Bridge was shown rolling the dough, molding it into a «burger», then baking, and finally stuffing the bun with a beef filling reduced in broth. The video transparently demonstrated that all the ingredients are handmade. Rainbow Bridge only prepares food to order and does not add MSG. I appreciate the chef’s cooking philosophy. I hope Rainbow Bridge survives, but it is going to depend on whether the Irvine crowd is open-minded enough to try authentic northern-Chinese cuisine.

I had the Ningxia cold noodle 涼皮, and it tastes really good! The texture of the noodle is just right, and I love the garlic/vinaigrette sauce! The portion was pretty big and got me full. They have many choices for the snow ice(it’s the fluffy ones). I tried the peach flavor and loved it! They are located right next to the Boiling Point, which can be a little bit hard to find. But the food is decent and reasonable priced. Would definitely come again!
