The fish in the poke bowl was chewy and most of the pieces were very stringy. I believe that you eat with your eyes first and you could tell no effort was made into putting this together. It was basically some fish and avocado sloppily thrown onto rice. Another thing that annoyed me was I had a coupon for 20% off your total order, but she wouldn’t honor it because it wasn’t dine in, even though it doesn’t state that on the coupon.

Love this place’s Nabeyaki Udon. Very delicious and portion is perfect. Try to get it always and sometime something from sushi bar. I believe it is very nice restaurant with attentive staff and authentic japanese food since there is always a lot of japanese customers more than i even seen in any other japanese restaurant !

6.5 environment. 4food. 2service This not my first time eating here. It’s getting worst each time I visited! The fired squid so salty! All Sashimi tasted not fresh that feel like in buffet style. The servers really have no idea what they doing. They need a better training!!! I won’t come back this place again. Very disappoint it!

I bought a poke bowl, a spicy tuna hand roll, and a spider handbroll. The spicy tuna roll was terrible, with hardly any tuna inside. And the ahi tuna did not taste fresh. The tuna was more of a pink color instead a bright red color. The poke bowl was mediocre, again the fish did not taste fresh. And finally the spider hand roll was over priced at $ 8.50. If I knew that, I would’ve bought the spider cut roll. Overall, I was disappointed and will not return to this Japanese restaurant. The only positive was a friendly staff.

A Japanese friend(middle aged) recommended this place so we decided to check it out recently. The staff are nice and the crowd is fine. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and having the chef make us rolls and take sake shots and chit chat! However, the rice wasn’t good. I’m not sure if the quality wasn’t good or it was because it was close to the closing time and the rice was old. Anyhow it was worth trying out once.

What a little gem! We hesitated on trying this place(we just moved to the area) based on its Unilocal rating, but finally decided to give it a try since it was just right down the street. We have tried a few sushi bars in the neighborhood area and have not been impressed(with the exception of one of my OC favorites, Nana San). Fresh, great quality fish and delicious sushi rolls for a very reasonable price! I was especially impressed by the quality of blue fin and albacore toro. We ordered and also loved the yellowtail carpaccio, halibut, kanpachi and akimne(I think that is how you spell it), spicy crunchy roll and some yummy spicy garlic roll. My husband and I are very impressed and have found our neighborhood sushi go-to spot. The sushi chefs and servers were very personable, friendly and attentive. I think the mediocre Unilocal rating is due to the cooked dishes that are served at the tables, but I can’t really say until I try it for myself. We loved it and will be back again soon!

Went for lunch. Had a coupon for a free roll but would have been worth it even without the coupon. Prices were appropriate for the amount of food and quality of the sushi. The lunch specials are great, that’s why we ended up going with. One complaint was the menu was very confusing. We had to ask the waiter to pretty much explain everything to us and eventually just went with his suggestion for the lunch special.
