Wow! What can I say? This is one of the fastest facilities I have ever been in… I usually bring my car here once a year whenever smog is due for registration… And I am never disappointed! These gentlemen are fast, know their business, are polite, and very detailed when explaining the information to you once the test is been run. I had an appointment at 3. They started my car exactly at 3, and I was out of there at 3:15! Great service ! Fast and efficient! Highly recommend this place !!!

I called for availability and they told me to come by in 30 minutes. When I arrived the test station was open and they took my car right away. They were very friendly even asking if the waiting area was comfortable. I will definitely go back for the next test.

This place is still going strong. Turns out their prices dropped by $ 15 from a couple of years ago. $ 50 with a $ 10 call-​in discount discount. Felix was very helpful, let me know dmv computers were down and gave me an extra copy of my cert so I. Could mail in jik. No wait on Tuesday 1pm.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. There was no wait and the guy was really great. Quick and painless. Plus, he could have processed the registration and provided the new sticker as well. Unfortunately, I had already paid the registration fee online with the DMV so I just gave to wait.
Definitely coming back here next time!

Got my smog checked here yesterday. He told me one price over the phone and then tried to charge me $ 30 more than the original quote — not happening. Got it done for the original quote in about ten minutes. No wait and I got back to work within 30 mins for lunch.

Sorry for the 1 stop and review, it’s not my style, but I doubt I’ll be using them again.
I was a little behind on my registration and recently had my check engine light go off so I tried for the smog (testing with the maintenance light or check engine light on will auto fail). Came in her with a coupon only to realize the Unilocal check in offer was a better deal. In and out in 15 minutes. It’s a bare bones operation with 3 tech’s and 1 front office person, 4 chairs, mags and a tiny office. It can’t even be considered a reception area, just a waiting area.
When I say bare bones so is the garage, no posters, no decorations, basically looks like a pop up shop in a way. Front desk is friendly, but tech’s are not.
Service is 1^st come 1^st serve, even though they take reservations it’s usually not busy. The key is to get in here and get out, once your waiting in line it loses the value. They have other locations. Test Only.
For $ 20 they’ll do your registration there instead of sending it in and waiting, even though their reporting is electronic, it’s not like the DMV suddenly releases registration unless both are cleared.

First time ever getting Smog check and this establishment made it smooth, easy, convenient and effortless. I didn’t have any appointment before I went there, but was able to be in and out in 15mins. My technician was Felix from Peru, what an amazing gentleman. He is very polite, friendly and respectful. The girl at the front was very friendly as well, I can tell she really enjoys her job (She is the one with braces).
My experience was very positive and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Took my car in to get smog tested and found the mechanic to be really helpful and friendly. I didn’t have to wait too long. This is a smog test only station who is willing to work with you. Luckily I checked the website before going to the station, as there is coupon for 20% off. Which reduced my cost significantly, but then I checked in on Unilocal and there was an even greater discount! Please remember to check in on Unilocal for this shop!
Due to a sensor issue, my car didn’t pass the first time around, so I went and had it fixed and took it back and it passed, whew! And the only thing I had to pay for was the certificate! Thank goodness. I have always taken my cars to this station when the DMV requires a smog test only station, I have found this shop to be the most reasonably priced, conveniently located to me and helpful/​friendly service.

Great service and courteous technician. When I telephoned Smog Time, Felix (the technician) promptly answered the telephone and told me to bring my car over for a smog check on the same day. The smog check took about 10 minutes. I redeemed a Smog Time coupon for a 20% discount off the total price. Convenient, efficient, and very speedy service!

Yes, giving them 5 Stars today, reason: Went on to their web site, they are still giving out $ 15 dollar off coupons for either a «Test Only» smog check or a «Normal» smog check. Luck out today, came by 11:30 AM, I was the only customer (usually they have one to maybe two customers ahead of me) in line. After filling out the necessary paper work, it took the Technician about 10 mins to smog test my car.
Now I don’t feel so guilty when I have my engine idling at the drive thru at the long lines at In-​N-​Out Burgers which is just up the road from this business. HA!
Besides offering Money $$$ Off Coupons on their web site, they also give you a free car wash at a near by car wash, should you want one, so I that was also a plus! Yes I would use them again.

Smog testing is basically a commodity.
I came on a Saturday morning. There were no other customers and no wait. The shop was clean and the people were friendly enough.
With the Unilocal discount, the total fee for my STAR Cert test was $ 63. If you search around, you might be able to find a shop that does it for a few bucks cheaper — I chose this one because it was close and had no wait.
