I am a huge fan of Subway in general. Healthy and delicious. I love the customization and being able to add as much as I’d like for a sandwich. Can only say good things about it!

This was my first visit here and probably my last. Asked for two 12 inch sandwiches and one kids meal sandwich. The one with bacon they just put uncooked bacon on and assumed I wanted it toasted. I did not. I had to ask them to take it off and cook the bacon. They seemed a little put out. Then they rang up my ticket and I paid and stood there waiting for the kids meal bag and they said it was a 6 inch sandwich not a kids sandwich. I just grabbed my bag of sandwiches and left. It was just irritating that they didn’t pay attention and didn’t ask the questions they should. Didn’t want to wait for them to try and figure out how to charge me for a kids meal versus what I had already paid for. I definitely won’t be going here any time soon.

Came here today for lunch, just a little late lunch, around 2pm. I just got a 6inch sandwich and I have to admit, I’m not a huge fan of subway, but I will eat here if nothing around, and I’m in a hurry. Well, this Subway pretty well solidified my dislike for Subway. They seemed to want to be somewhere else other than here today. The service was pretty slow, and the sandwich which usually they can be pretty generous with the veggies etc, here they just seemed to not be that way. I was a bit disappointed but figured I don’t really like Subway much anyways. If I’m ever in the area I’ll definitely go elsewhere.

I stopped in last week to pick up a sandwich & I was helped by Amanda. She is so incredibly nice & knows how to make your sandwich exactly how you want it! Because of her excellent customer service this is now my favorite Subway & I will definitely be back for more sandwiches in the future!

What a gem of a subway! I came off from a flight all hungry and craving a foot long sandwich of some kind. Lo and behold this place popped up and my wishes were garnered hope! Excellent service and bread!

If you are a vegetarian DONOTGOHERE! I came in during lunch hour and they have 4 people working to make one sandwich. First there’s one person that gets the bread, then the meat(veggie patty in my case), then the vegetables and finally the sauce. None of the employees change their gloves. I understand it’s busy during lunch but this is the only place that I have visited that does this. Usually it’s one person making sandwich for one person and then they change their gloves before making sandwich for the next person. Definitely would not go back to this subway.

Not the friendliest service. In and out convenient location. Yes the guy mentioned earlier zero personality. Where is the owner?

You know the thing about these chain stores that makes them what they are? Consistency. You have the same greetings and the same atmosphere and I expected the same from this Subway. For the longest time I had no problems with this location. It was your typical Subway. However today was beyond appauling for my taste. To elaborate, I walked in and was met by an employee named Eric. I told him I wanted a footlong roast beef sandwhich on italian bread. Easy enough right. It took him a couple of minutes to even register what was going on. He said, you want roast beef right and picked up the chicken breast. I pointed out his mistake and was met with a harsh tone. Whatever. I then told him I didn’t want it toasted and we moved to the veggies. I told him what I wanted and before I could finish what I was saying, his friend walks in(first name basis) and he leaves me hanging pushing my sandwich aside and making a mess of the veggies. He didn’t finish my order and his coworker had to finishing helping me. Is this how you train your employees Subway? I left without a single more interaction. The rudeness of this employee was absolute uncalled for and I would assume is not Subway standard(certainly hope not). I won’t return to this location ever again. Please try to be courteous next time and hire better employees who will accomodate to the customer. Not this rude ridiculous employee I witnessed today. Thanks

I do not like to give 1 star reviews but I went to this place for breakfast and it was terrible. The servers were very nice so I do not want to blame them, it just seemed like poor management. The single serve coffee machine had not been turned on, seating was lacking, the coffee dispenser was not working and needed the servers to fiddle with it a lot for before it would work(I think that the top was broken) and in my friend’s vegetarian egg and cheese sandwich, there was a piece of steak. I will probably not be back. One good thing is that there is free parking?

Fast, helpful & yummy. No outdoor seating though & their parking lot is a real zoo around lunch time.

This subway is the best I have been to. The vegetables are REALLY fresh. I have gotten the best subway sandwich here I have ever had.

4 Stars mainly because as far as quality goes, it’s Subway. They make your sandwich right in front of you while you order — not that hard. The reason they wont get 5 stars here is because this location is SOSMALL. There is literally 1, yes ONETABLE and dont even think about sitting at it anyway as during the lunch rush the line wraps all around the inside, and out the door most times. Almost daily between 11:30−2. The line usually ends up blocking the drink station/soda machine and chips rack. This place is configured so horribly I’d probably should have given it 3 stars or less but it’s a pretty frequent place as it’s right across from my office.

I’m not a big sandwich kinda gal, but last week I had this craving for a turkey sanwich, and since this Subway is located right across the street from where I work… I’ve said before, I don’t rate on décor anymore, UNLESS it’s a real frou frou place, then I will since I’m probably paying for the over the top décor. But this is a subway. It’s a lot smaller than any other Subway I’ve visited, but hey this is Irvine where rent is at a premium so ya gotta fit as much as you can. But I digress. I really enjoyed this particular subway because when you ask them to load the vegetables, they LOAD the vegetables. I coulda reached over and given the sandwich artists(yes, some places call them that) a big hug. They put as much as they could without tearing the bread to pieces and the amount of turkey was pretty decent. I got that 5 dollar foot long special and I counted the amount of slices they put in that little sucker. Yes, I really counted the slices. 10 slices. I was surprised. Pleasantly so. And if that sandwich server did it as a favor and shouldn’t have, Thank You! Only complaint is that there’s about 6 people on the counter and they kept asking me if I wanted cheese. After the 1st two times I sort of jumped in and said«No cheese!» I’ll definitely be back… well, when I get into that sandwich craving again. Apparently it’s gone bye bye for now!

I swung by here after visiting with my friend Julie of the OC Wine Mart(in the same lot). I thought I could grab a quick meal here and then take off but I wasn’t aware that this location was so tiny! You step in and you’re greeted by the counter! I could have backed out and left but I had already made eye contact with the sandwich artist and decided to order. Oh well. My favorite thing at Subway is their veggie sandwich on flatbread with a side of raspberry cheesecake cookies. I took my sandwich to go and ate it outside in the parking lot. It was a nice evening, breezy, calm, and perfect. I didn’t mind that I couldn’t eat indoors and my sandwich was prepared perfectly. Ah bliss.

Must-haves: Roast Beef [C-] Skip: Tuna [F] Just like every other subway. Except the service at this one is good. The diet coke carbonation to syrup ratio is a bit heavy on the syrup side. Food: C– | Service: B | Selection: C– | Experience: C– | Overall: C

It’s a subway. Decent sandwich, decent price. This area is pretty desolate on the weekend(it’s a business park) so I believe this location closes by 3 or 4pm. Not much room to eat inside, two small tables with chairs out front. I expect it is a popular spot with people working nearby during the week!

I hate it when they don’t know how to make a sandwich. The meat was stuffed all the way at the fold of the bread so that when I bite into the outside half of the sandwich, I got just vegetables. When I bite into the inside half of the sandwich, I got just meat. Seriously, is there no training? Or common sense? There is a lady that works there with a heavy accent. When the girl behind me couldn’t understand her questions, the lady got pretty annoyed; even shook her head in disbelieve. Get over it, and realize that you are the problem. Quit thinking it’s everyone else.

Subway is Subway. and I hate it when people bitch about places like Subway with all the snotty snobby comments. You pay freaking 5 dollars, get a footlong sandwich with descent bread(baked in house), and pick all the fresh veggies(cucumber, tomato, olives, peppers, banana peppers, spinach) as much as you want and choice of not so bad cheeses, and some sauce/and stuff to make your sandwich tasty. Not bad on the meats and cold cuts either. There is something about helping to support a business like subway that makes ‘making people eat healthy’ as their mission, through their well informed menus/nutrition labels, calorie display on the board, and all that. We need more places like subway, and in absence of that, more subways atleast!!! This is pretty new place, very small, they got like two tables to sit and eat, but most people work close by offices, so its easy to grab a sandwich and walk back to office.(or eat at the food court). The service has been friendly/fast, nothing to complain about. Since its a new place, this subway hasnt picked up that weird awkward looking smell or visuals yet.(you know what i am talking about, there are horrid lookign subways. check the one by wholesome choice… eww. i would throw up twice just the idea of standing right next to it!). Through february 2011, all their sandwiches are 5 $s. In this economy, especially now that i am tight on money, I can really really appreciate that. 5 $ footlong feeds me two meals. yay, why the hell woudl i complain right! I always ask for extra veggies and produce, and they never skimp or show faces. which is pretty awesome. Do note that their calory display on the menu board doesnt include cheese or sauces. So if you want to get a 570 calorie footlong turkey, you have to say ‘No cheese No mayo No sauce’… say twice or three times before you go there, and you will be fine, to say no to all that yummy things. Trust me with cucumber and banana peppers you wont miss cheese and mayo that much. atleast i dont! So next time dont throw rock at a 5 $ sandwich place! and when they hand your sandwich(esp with no tax on cold sandwiches!), remember to say thank you and leave atlesat 3 or 4 star comments just like I did, ‘coz there is somethign to be said about karma people! :)

I love subway– just not this one! It is the closest one to my job so I tend to eat there quite a bit out of convenience. I really hate to say this(as I’m not a mean person) but the people working there are really dumb. You have to tell them how to make your sandwich at least 3 times and yet it still comes out wrong. I have never, ever had a «fresh» piece of bread from this place… In fact, it gets staler and staler every time I eat there. I think next time I’m in the mood for a sub, I’m going to take the trip to the one on Jamboree and Campus :-)
