Grace is incredible! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write this review. I met Grace at the Bloomingdale’s wedding shower event they have every year. I had already booked a different bakery, but as soon as I saw the cake Grace had displayed at the event, I knew I had to have it. We met at her shop, talked about what we wanted the cake to look like and tasted various different flavors. We were sold after that meeting and I cancelled our initial order with the other bakery. I absolutely loved our wedding cake. Grace is so nice and incredibly talented! I’m so happy we were at the Bloomingdales event because it gave us the opportunity to meet Grace!

Grace is a cake genius! My wedding cake not only looked beautiful, it tasted as good as it looked! I am not much of a fondant fan… Who is? It usually is tasteless and everyone pulls it off the cake. But no, not Grace’s fondant. It was soo yummy we were peeling it off of the cake the next morning. In addition, she is adorable, friendly and super easy to work with. I will recommend her to everyone I know who is in need of a fabulous cake.

Grace makes delicious cake that is so pretty when it’s cut. The cake retains it’s shape. I was very impressed. She is also very nice and also does the cake catering for 24 carrots.

Ok, this is gonna suck because the more 5 star reviews you give, the more packed and pricey it will be. Food network lady is amazing!!! Her red velvet cake was the best red velvet cake I have ever ate in my life and I attend about 3 – 5 weddings per year. Her designs are perfect. You definitely get for what you pay for even if it’s a few hundred dollars. Buy your cake here if you really want to go all out.

Your website looks amazing. The in-n-out cake, iphone cake, the dog cakes, and such exquisite detailing! I can’t review much about their service and their daily business, but i am reviewing their red velvet cake. The cake alone deserves 5 stars so i can’t imagine what spectacular service they provide for their clients. I recently went to a party where they served sweet-gem’s red velvet cake. HANDSDOWN the best red velvet cake i have ever tasted. The cream cheese frosting is on another level of cream cheese frosting. It doesn’t have an overwhelming taste of sweetness and cream cheese flavor. I’d love to know your secret to your cream cheese frosting. Most red velvet cakes are ruined by overwhelming cream cheese frosting, but not this cake! Most red velvet cakes i have tasted are dry and blah. The BESTREDVELVETCAKEEVER! I wish the whole world can taste how awesome the red velvet cake is! Thank goodness i had left overs that lasted about 2-days. :) Thank you sweet gems!

Got the Poker Chip cake for my husbands’ 40th Poker Themed Birthday Party and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone at the party LOVED the cake! It was so delicious! Everyone wanted to take a slice home! We ordered the Red Velvet, which it their most popular flavor. The cake is so yummy, really moist and the crème in the middle has just the right amount of sweetness to it(not over the top sweet, like most cakes)!! Grace, the owner is really sweet and very accommodating! I would definitely order another one of her cakes for one of my parties. She is really awesome and she does a fabulous job!

My best friend got me a cake from here last week. It was sooooooooo beautiful and tasty! We got the blackout cake which is dark chocolate cake with chocolate mousse. The cake was moist and perfect, not too sweet, and it was decorated beautifully, matching our theme of cherry blossoms.

Amazing, spectacular & phenomenal! She has done a few for us, including a Tiffany’s blue box, a stack of books for my graduation, a dog-shaped cake, and a drum cake. We’ve referred her to our friends and our clients and she has made a Rubik’s cube and a Louis Vuitton purse that was so perfect that my friend didn’t even want to eat it. It looked like the real thing! When I saw her on Food Network, it was so thrilling to say that I «know» her! I’ve never been disappointed and because she is such a perfectionist, you can see all the hard work and details that she puts into the cakes!

Wow! I cannot say enough about Grace and her amazing cakes. The entire experience was out of this world, starting from her cake tasting. She brought out SO many HUGE slices of cake! My mom and I were practically licking the plate and fighting for the last bite of each. I had a very unique situation for my wedding. The wedding itself was kosher, so I was not ‘allowed’ to have a non parve cake in the facility. BUT, I really wanted a special cake made by Grace! So I had to keep it a secret among me and my close friends and sneak it into a back room. Grace was so amazing about the entire thing. She even arrived dressed up like a guest and wrapped the cake like a present. It worked like a charm! The cake was the hit of the party. It was spectacular and even better than I could have imagined. It also tasted amazing! I actually just finished another piece right before writing this review… Overall, if I could give Grace more than 5 stars I would!

I have to say that the cakes here are simply works of art. I never caught the Food Network Cake Challenges, but I have seen the pictures. The draw back would be having to eat such a nice display or talent. When I finished college, my sister got a cake from here that looked like my car. It also had a little guy in the driver’s seat that looked sorta like me. I was pretty impressed with the detail. The owner has made much better fun cakes though. She can make cakes for all occasions. It’s just difficult making that first cut. In the end it’s worth it though. The actual cake is as good as it looks.

The owner was featured on one of the Food Network Challenge’s Cake Challenges. Surprised more people haven’t heard about this place. I love her carrot cake. Everyone else seems to like her red velvet cake, though I’m not a red velvet cake kind of person. I love the chocolate mousse cake too. I think my favorite cake on her site is the one in the shape of a dog. That is killer. −−2÷9÷2014 I got another cake and still think the carrot cake is the best, but that’s just me. I don’t understand why red velvet is so popular. What is with you people? I wanted to try the chocolate with peanut butter whipped mousse and salted caramel, but I didn’t get the chance to. Next time I guess.
