The Golden Dreidle

I love this store. Every time I have come in they have been welcoming and helpful. I recently purchased a new beautiful tallit and was able to use their layaway program (so awesome since I didn’t have the full amount at the time). Cannot wait to get it in soon! Would highly recommend to visit.

Pay attention very carefully, as this is my HORRIBLE experience with this «Little shop of Horrors». My fiancée and I went in and ordered our Ketubah and specifically asked if we needed to come back and purchase a «back-​up» Ketubah, in case the UPS 2 day service they use, did not deliver on time. After being told a bunch of S!@# by the man …“Oh no it will be there on time…” This is for you Sir: «NO, our Ketubah DID NOT COME IN! AGAIN, it DID NOT ARRIVE IN TIME FOR OUR WEDDING!» I have happily told EVERYONE at our temple about this and hopefully, you the reader, WILL HEED this warning and DON’T spend or waste your monies here! (We will not!) Shame on you Sir, I can only hope that you lose business over this review, we will never forget this ever, nor will the others in our bridal party, and you can BET that this story will circulate… soo have a good one! This business should be named.“The Golden Nothing.”

The Golden Dreidle is a wonderful place to visit, walk through, and provide you with your Jewish needs (as a quick FYI – you wouldn’t have to be Jewish to enjoy this store)! They have a comprehensive realm of Judaic elements (books, yarmulkes, tallits, art, music, and everything else you might want).
The merchandise is of high quality, very creative, and quite insightful. The prices reasonable and often discounted. You can find a world of Judaic range by going from wall to wall and aisle to aisle. You could deem this site as a Jewish department store. My wife and I found so many things that attracted us to buy or consider. I went there to purchase a Chai necklace and was able to find what I wanted for a price I could afford. My wife found a tallit and fell in love with it. It was truly affordable and desirable, so she bought it with joy.
Shahrokh, one their store owners, was very kind and resourceful in listening to what we were looking for and finding it for us. For all they provide and how they offer it, the Golden Dreidle could truly be deemed a promised land for Judaic products and focus!

Great location. Has better prices and more selection than the stores in Los Angeles. Plus I don’t need to drive a hour each way.
No pressure store. They really care about our community

I’ve been coming to the Golden Dreidle since I was a little kid. Even though my life has now taken me to the East Coast, I still shop online with them for all of my Judaica. They are so accommodating and wonderful to work with. It is absolutely clear that they care deeply for their customers. No matter where I am, Golden Dreidle is my judaica store. Yasher koach!

This store is everything I had hoped it would be… and more. They have an amazing collection at a variety of price points. The staff is incredibly helpful without being pushy… which can happen a lot in smaller stores. I bought Rosh Hashanah books for my two boys and went another time to purchase a Kiddush Cup for my upcoming wedding. We are so happy with our purchase and my next purchase will be the Chabbat Meal Wooden Play-​set for my boys. I love this place. It will be a weekly stop for sure… and there is a great boba spot just down the parking lot.

Although shopping on the web is popular these days, you really have to go into this shop to see for yourself the great selection of items they have! Whether you’re shopping for yourself, or for a gift, they have things available for almost every occasion. They also have nice quality things rather than the cheesy items you find many religious gift shops. Also a great selection of jewelry!

Great little shop in a strip mall with some nice food choices. I was in Orange County for a day, so I did my usual search for bookstores. Golden Dreidle popped up, and I have an interest in Judaica, so off I went. The owner had just the right approach: help if required, otherwise he was in the background. Great selection of books, from kids’ selections through Hebrew language texts and Tanakh.

The Golden Dreidle was incredibly helpful in helping me get some last minutes, but desperately needed items for my wedding. Three weeks before the big day, we decided to get a ketubah. Knowing nothing about them, we went to the Golden Dreidle with our fingers crossed. They were very kind and helpful. The selection was plentiful and they assisted us throughout the entire process.
When last minute we needed help with the bases to our chuppa, they jumped in and provided us with the necessary bases at a very fair price.
I would absolutely recommend this store. It is a gem.

Great little place in a small strip mall. The store had many very nice contemporary styled pieces. I came in and was greeted with ease, no pushy salesman. I said told the man behind the counter what I was looking for and why, he pointed me in the right direction and said «if you have any questions, I’m right here.» That was all the selling he did! Fantastic! I’m used to people following you around and pushing items onto you so this was a breath of fresh air. I saw exactly what I was making sitting on the counter and the man reassured me that mine was going to better because it was made from the heart.
I will come here for everything and anything Judaic related.

They used to be in Costa Mesa, but this new location is good because it’s not far off the freeway. They have a really good selection of everything, and the staff is super nice. Definitely a more comfortable shopping experience than other more frum judaica shops.

This Judaic shop is truly golden. It is the best place in all of Orange County– even in all of LA– for your Judaic product needs, especially unique gifts for a Jewish a Bar/​Bat Mitzvah, Jewish wedding/​anniversary… you name it.
This store is geared more towards the Reform/​Reconstructionist/​Conservative Jewish folks because of the «hip and modern» items that they sell. (This is not the right place for the Orthodox because they usually shop for very traditional and plain products.)
The store owner is so helpful and friendly. He is happy to explain the purpose of a product that you may not know much about. If you cannot find exactly what you need (which is highly unlikely), he will go to great lengths to order it for you. I was very particular about a tallit, so he went through his thick catalog of tallitot with me. Wonderful man.

But I heartily recommend visiting the store, especially if you are planning on buying a tallit. The tallitot are laid out on the display racks which allows you to choose from an array of stunning colors and patterns– from the more traditional to the more contemporary.
