Thank you Muriel! Went here for my first Brazilian waxing and she made me feel extremely comfortable and talked me through the entire process. She is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her.

Maybe I got a wrong impression when I walked in that morning for my first appointment. My mind was completely changed as I was getting my facial. I had a wonderful experience with Lupe. I love how she doesn’t sugar coat anything and let me tell you she is a skin warrior. I remember what she said to me «I wouldn’t let anyone with bad skin touch work on mine». I was glad I was in her care because she has amazing skin.
I have been holding off looking for the right skin aesthetician for too long. My skin really needed a professional’s touch. I have been really happy the way my skin is looking and I just scheduled another appointment. I haven’t done any sessions with Muriel but I have high hopes. If skin problems are plaguing you stop wasting your time looking for that one miracle product. Just make your appointment and solve your problem.

Love this place! I have been here 4 – 5 times and the last few times I have had a facial with Lupe. I went before a wedding, and a few times before and after traveling abroad and the results are fantastic.
I come out a bit flushed every time, but a few days later I definitely notice an improvement with my acne. Lupe is really knowledgeable and focuses on problem areas one at a time.
I’m pretty sure the extraction is done without tools, leaving barely any bloody marks!
I definitely need to come back soon to try doing my back.
Also, I love the high-​frequency!

I went here for a 30 minute facial with no appointment, they were very accommodating & pleasant. I’ve only been here once, but it was so relaxing and tranquil. Lupe did my facial, she’s awesome!

Lupe gives amazing facials and is always so nice and thorough. I go to her for the acne facial and every time I leave, my pores look noticeably smaller. She does an awesome job on extractions, and definitely creates a relaxed spa environment! love this place, my skin has definitely improved :-)

Today was my first visit for an eyebrow waxing. I am so happy that I took the time to read the reviews plus compare prices to other places. I was overall very pleased with my visit! The women who did my service, Debroah? (Wish I remembered her name) was so gentle and very thorough. Every step of the way she explained what was about to take place and frequently checked in on how I was doing making sure I was as comfortable as possible. Most importantly before She did anything to my overgrown eyebrows she made sure to understand exactly how I wanted them shaped. She even made some great suggestions to my regular beauty regiment at home. After she was
Through she applied a nice moisturizer. Before I left, after paying, the owner (I’m assuming) noticed I was still red on my upper lip so she put another cooling cream to reduce the redness. By the time
I got to my car all redness had subsided. Can’t wait to come back to try other services!

You MUST come here and get a facial and microdermabrasion from Lupe. I use to be her client over at Massage Envy, however moved over to White Rose Spa when she made the move. You will absolutely LOVE her technique. You will come out looking 10 years younger and relaxed from the soothing massage as well. I use to hate extractions, however she’s a master at them. GO SEE LUPE NOW!!!

Lupe always makes sure her customers get the best possible results. She pays attention to every detail, and explained every step of the facial to me. She made me feel completely relaxed with the amazing face + neck & shoulder massage. My skin feels clean and smooth afterwards! Came here today for a facial with Muriel! She is an absolute sweetheart and really knows what she’s doing. The minute you lie down she examines your face and immediately tells you how she will take care of it. She uses herbal oils in her steamer according to your skin type and you immediately feel that it’s working. She is gentle when doing extractions and is very thorough. I booked the Grand Classique facial and felt relaxed and refreshed after. Next time I will try the Pumpkin /​Microdermabrasion Facial based on Muriel’s suggestion.
I highly recommend booking an appointment online, you’d need a credit card to hold your reservation.

I had a fantastic massage and facial just after Christmas. I was blown away with how relaxed I was leaving the Spa after my sessions. I will absolutely be back.

I’ve been to many skincare spas in Newport Beach and Irvine and after a year of not taking care of my face and getting monthly facials, it was definitely time!
This place is my favorite spa by far! This was my first time visiting but the quality of the service was superb!
Yes it’s true that this place doesn’t look like your high end Newport Beach spa with contemporary furniture and staff waiting on your hand and foot. This place is quiet quaint and functional and that’s what I like! Prices are fair and it’s not too expensive.
Muriel gave me a facial and microdermabrasion combo. She is extremely knowledgeable and after talking to her, I found out she’s been doing this for 20 years! Every other aesthetician in Orange County I have encountered has only been in the industry for 1 – 3 years and their level of technique is inconsistent but Muriel met all of my expectations! She is fabulous and I highly recommend her.
Will be coming back on a monthly basis!

What one should not expect: a plush lobby with music and fireplace, fancy mongrammed robes while you wait in lobby, heavily scented candle lit romantic massage rooms, jacuzzi, lemon-​infused waters and organic teas.
What you are entitled to: personalized service, quality treatments, courteous reception, clean and cozy facility, staff who remember your name, dedicated time (full hour massage if you paid for an hour massage), plenty of parking.
This little gem is not about marketing their name, your money is well spent on what matters: you.

Nice place, but not the best. I got a facial from Nichole and she did great — my skin felt refreshed after and she was really sweet. The spa itself is located in University Center, so it’s not exactly a relaxing atmosphere. The treatment room was pretty tiny and the walls were paper thin, so I could basically hear everything going on in the store next to the spa. It was a little hard to relax when EDM was vibrating through the walls. All in all, the service itself was great but the atmosphere is definitely lacking.

Today was my first time visiting the spa and I’ve got to say it was the best one I’ve been to so far. I found White Rose Spa while I was on the hunt for a facial/​massage here in Irvine (recently moved here) and I’m really happy that I came across it and that the great reviews were true!
I got the «Combo 10», which included a 30 minute massage, Grand Classique Facial and Microdermabrasion. I was so relaxed the entire time I was there and I just absolutely loved it. I will for sure be coming back at least once a month for the same thing (except maybe a little long massage ;) Muriel and Chantal both worked on me and they were both wonderful, very welcoming and attentive. I can’t wait to go back and also bring my sisters and friends!
A helpful tip: if you’re a student don’t forget to bring your student ID. They offer a discount and it’s great! Thank you Muriel and Chantal!

I have been here about 4 –5 x for facials and absolutely loved it. I’ve had Muriel and Nichole, both were fantastic. What turns me off about some of the places I got facials from is when they leave you for 10 – 15 min for your mask. That never happened the other times I’ve been here. Their techniques were great. They used great products. So even after moving to LA, I would still make the hour drive to come here. I scheduled the combo grand classique with 30 min massage today. Chantal was great with her massage. When it’s time for my facial, I walk in to find a Korean mask (same one I use at home. 18 dollars for 20 at Amazon) I thought to myself, «I hope they don’t use that on me cause that don’t do anything. «I’ve always seen them have the products out that they will use on the table and they were all yonka products. Today I saw them tucked in the closet. I don’t know what I got in the beginning, but the mask definitely was not yonka. I don’t know if they’re not doing well so they have to downgrade on the products. Muriel left for 10 minutes while I had the Korean face mask on. The last 4 x I’ve been here they would use this time to do the neck and arms massage. I started the massage at 210… I was out of there by 250. It was cut short… It was mediocre… They downgraded the mask. I would still come here if I’m around the area, but I won’t be making the drive from la to go here. So sad to have to look for another place to get my facials!
Update after Muriel’s comment:
I walked into the door at 1:20, went to the bathroom, went to the treatment room and got undressed. By 150 exactly 30 min of the time of me walking in, Chantal was walking out the treatment room to get me water. I transferred to the other room, drank my water and waited for Muriel to come. So 145 start time was definitely not accurate. There’s no perfect business and mistakes will be done. How the business handles the mistakes makes a difference whether customers will be back. 145 to 210 is a big time gap. If the facials were 60 min, I only got 40 minus the 10 minutes she was gone. Therefore I won’t be coming back here.

Muriel was simply amazing! She gave a very honest consultation about my skin and treatments that are appropriate based in your skin type. Definitely going back for my next facial!

WOW– what a wonderful 30 minute massage I just had! This spa has been recommended to me by a couple of my colleagues who have gone for facials and massages.
They offer a «happy hour» 30 minute, $ 20 massage special M-​F 12−2pm. What a great value!
I asked for Nichole today– all I can say is, MAGIC HANDS! She asks you where you are experiencing pain and really gives the attention your body deserves. She guessed which hand I write with due to the tightness level in my shoulder!
She really dug in– and explains she has a firm style, but can lessen the pressure if asked.
I will be going back regularly!

Where to start? I have to say that I really enjoyed my visit to the White Rose Spa and wish I came here sooner! I’m a UCI student and passed by this place everyday and finally decided to give this place a try. I do not regret it at all!
I went for the combination #2 deal: Grand Classique Facial + 60 min. massage
The massage came first and it was amazing. Nichole was very warm and friendly and before starting my massage, she even asked if there was a certain area that I needed more work on or needed to be careful of. Never once did I feel like she was in a rush so it was relaxing. (I once went to a massage place somewhere in Irvine and the girl abruptly stopped when my 60 minutes were up). Overall, the massage was a perfect amount of pressure but gentle at the same time.
Next was my facial. Now the only downside to doing the combination was that the massage and facials were in two different rooms. So I had to redress and then undress again. I had Muriel and my goodness! She is amazing! Just taking a look at my face, she already knew my skin issues. She immediately knew that my cheeks compared to the rest of my face, is more on the dry side and adjusted the face mask to the ginseng one (more moisturizing). Another great thing was that this was the first extraction I had that didn’t leave my face all red.
Overall, I definitely recommend White Rose Spa! Wish I came here sooner! And for students, you get a 10% discount so I urge any students out there to treat yourself :)

This is my go-​to place for facials. The service there is exceptional and I always leave there feeling refreshed.
I go for the Grand Classique every time. Muriel is an excellent esthetician who is both professional and warm. She is very thorough and yet gentle. I’ve never had an extraction that was so painless and yet so effective. She also gives a great massage that circulates your blood and brings liveliness to your complexion.

I visited White Rose Spa for my first facial ever the other day. I bought a microdermabrasion + acne facial combo for $ 85 ($ 100 with the $ 15 tip) and had an appointment with Hannah. I told her this was my first facial, so she gave explanations for some of the steps.
The extraction was rather painful, but bearable. Microdermabrasion wasn’t bad at all. My overall experience at the spa was solid — 4 stars. Hannah seemed knowledgable about everything, she was nice and was thorough with her work, and I liked how (as other Unilocalers have said) they don’t push you to purchase products or make future appointments when you leave.
The –1 star is for the fact that, after 75 minutes of my time and $ 100, my face looks… well… the same. I don’t have horrible skin and I wasn’t in dire need of special skin care, but if anything, the next day my skin was unusually oily and a little irritated. Today is the second day after the facial, and although a couple blemishes have diminished in size, my skin overall doesn’t look much different.
Kind technicians and thorough work, but at least for me, not worth the money.
