Go see the bartender Becca she is great and fast with the drinks and food. Good knowledge on food and wine pairing… She was a Joy to have serve us. Going back again soon…

Good food(got the steak tacos and French Onion soup), music is upbeat and a lot of TVs. Remember people can smoke in bars though and had a guy with a huge cigar next to me(taste Buds died a little). Crowd is more 30 – 50, not bad but was hoping for a slightly younger crowd. Overall good experience and close to airport hotels.

A typical sports bar. Nicely sized but nothing in particular stood out. Service was good and food was ok. Went for a Redskins pep Rally which had a wait outside but other than that, they had food and drinks all ready for order. if you looking for a basic sports lounge with tons of tvs and bar food with a restaurant feel then this place is for you.

If you’re looking to watch football on Sunday consider calling ahead. Showed up 10 til and all seats in the bar were taken except tables that said reserved. My game, as well as the 2 other’s I was with, were all being shown on only 1TV(even though there’s about 25 in there) and on opposite sides of the bar. A bit frustrating as they had 1 game being shown on almost half and are unable to change even if nobody in one seating area wants the game being shown. If we hadn’t come mainly to watch the games wouldn’t have been as big of a deal. Food was great — highly recommend the mile high nachos. Plus $ 1 mimosas can’t be beat!

If you’re coming here for the UFC ppv keep in mind that they don’t turn the audio on until the main card. This is really stupid considering how many people want to see and hear all the fights. Right now I’m hearing 90s pop rock versus the fight audio that I paid $ 5 at the door to see. Decent food but typical

Second time visiting Champps. First time was for the last Rousey fight and made it early enough to get a comfy booth for two, only to find that around fight time they sat two complete strangers with us… wtf??? At least this time they told us that they would be seating two others with us, since all the«two seater» booths are«reserved». Good place to watch the fights, but not too fond of sitting with complete strangers. AWKWARD.

I came here to have a good time at a sports bar. This isn’t the bars fault but the most annoying group of people sat next to me. The bartenders knew who these people were but allowing the most disrespectful words to be said over and over again in an ultra loud voice for hours is a bit much. The worst of it, I ordered a 35 dollar steak. Let me tell you how disgusting that was. The steak was burnt almost to a crisp and was nasty to taste. The bartenders kind of ignored me and I had to track them down most of the time but they were quick to help our their loud ass friends.

As a traveling business guy, I am always looking for great places obviously loved by the locals. This place exceeded every expectation. I loved it so much I went two nights in a row. I sat at the bar, and both nights the bartenders remembered my name and made it a great experience. And, I LOVE a good turkey burger. The Fresca Turkey Burger here was — and I don’t say this lightly — the very best turkey burger I have EVER eaten. I ate it two nights in a row. Make sure you find your way to this place if you’re in or near Irving…

If you’re looking for a sports bar, this is it. Plenty of TVs to watch any game you want, huge bar, and let’s face it… some entertainment. We come here any day of the week to grab a late night bite and/or drinks, since it is one of the few places open until 2:00am. The food is surprisingly good, not that it’s average, it’s just that I wouldn’t expect it to be as good as it is. They have an amazing Saturday and Sunday brunch with $ 1 mimosas and a $ 14 omelet buffet where you can make your own creations. So you can literally go there as your last or first stop.

Potato skins were awesome. When my daughter said that the chicken salad was bland, they replaced it no questions asked. Kelsey was the server. Very friendly. The burger was great and the beer was cold. Wonderful experience.

High prices for substandard food and weak service. I’ve been here twice now and found the quality to be worse than Applebee’s or TGIFriday’s, but with smaller portions and significantly higher prices. There’s no separation between the smoking and nonsmoking sections. No pitchers of beer, no frozen drinks. Don’t waste your time or money here.

What happened to this place? This used to be a pretty good place for some drinks and food. They had the best tuna melt ever. I moved back to the area after being gone for a few years. The food is just awful. I mean, awful. Tonight is my third try before posting this. Won’t be back for food. Drinks? Good. Don’t order food. Chips and salsa is about all you want to pay for here.

The food was okay here. I started off with the baked potato soup(probably the best thing I indulged in) and my family just ordered appetizers. The nachos were huge but I think the cheese should have been a little more melted, they were hard. Also the margherita pizza wasn’t as good as I expected. Possibly because they put balsamic on them? The hot wings were pretty good, but straight fried so they were exceedingly crispy. My family seemed to enjoy their food, but I wasn’t a huge fan.

We’re always looking for a new sports bar. Particularly during baseball(or football, or hockey…) season– lots of screens and bar food are always a good sign. I wasn’t super impressed by Champps though. Although it was nicer than your run-of-the-mill smokey sports bar, I felt like it was not that great for the price of the food. On our recent visit, the queso was bland and served with stale chips and our burger was overcooked. Our waitress was very sweet though, and the restaurant was clean with prompt food service. I would be reluctant to return only because of the number of great sports bar options in DFW, but Champps was far from bad and a fine option if you’re in the area and looking for a place to relax and watch a game.

I’ve been to Champps maybe half a dozen times over the past five years, and always enjoyed its lively sportsy atmosphere for business or casual gatherings. The food is a bit pricey, but portions are large and the service has always been first rate. I visited tonight and found that smoking is now allowed in the restaurant and bar. The caustic burn of it was detectable everywhere except in the back room, which is where we requested to be sat. WTF? I had the Bleu ribbon burger and my date ordered salmon both of which were delicious. The onion rings were particularly tasty, savory lightly battered, and very thick. We split calamari, deviled eggs and queso, all good. As we left, the cigarette smoke assaulted our lungs again. A sad take down to an otherwise enjoyable locale. Sadly, I can’t go back.

Okay for a sports bar this place has some good food! I have mostly sat at the bar, and one time had a group of 8 at a table. The service is always great either spots that I have sat at. I got my first firebomb shot from here, and I loved it. Their french onion soup is the bomb. Cobb salad is on point. I once even got the BBQ chopped salad and asked them to make it meatless but to add black beans. No problem there, and it was delicious. You can also get a big huge 24 ounce mug of beer, and that makes me SOHAPPY…

I love Champps! We and the fam stopped by here for lunch on snowy Friday because we knew Champps might have been open. The atmosphere here is the bomb! Nice, clean, and a lot of TVs but not too noisy. Great place to watch games. All the TVs were turned to games and news. The waiter was very attentive and made sure our glasses were full during the whole game. I decided to order salmon dish. It was huge portion for lunch and so yummy! I recommend sweet potatoes here too. The food is pretty well made, lots of options, and very shareable. It’s a little pricey, but the portions are large, and the beers are large. It’s nothing gourmet, but it’s the usual bar food, plus some salad and soup options. Just one thing though, our food came out a little slow. Overall, I had a GREAT experience! I really like the atmosphere, location and the food is YUMMY! The wait staff is very attentive and sweet! Great place for groups. Fun atmosphere. Great place to watch sports. Food everyone can enjoy.

This is definitely not your typical Chilis or Applebees, but you are getting the standard good American food/bar stuff. Plenty of good beers to choose from, and ones from the draft. Lots of TVs to enjoy the plethora of sports they have on. I had a salad and it was real good. Huge, so I did not finish it, but definitely something that is worth getting. Enjoyed the place very much overall. Also had the mile-high ice cream cake, between 4 people, and still could not finish it. It was crazy big! The crust was to die for. ~Carpe Diem~
