Could not eat the food. Way to salty, every thing I tried. Actually went into afib that night from the salt content.

My son and I were near Irving Mall and we’re craving for some Tex Mex. Los Luke’s did not disappoint. We ordered enchiladas and they were wonderful. Waiter very attentive. Good drinks as well. The interior is spacious and they were having Salsa dance lessons near the stage where they have live music. Fun place. Also had a separate bar area that looked interesting. Great prices and good variety. Will be back soon!

Hopefully the food was just having a bad day yesterday. I’ve even ate hamburger helper that got burnt but I wasn’t taking another bite from here, and half of the chips where stale. We ordered 3 plates the best plate was the kids chicken tenders… The lady manager seemed like she could care less she just kept blaming it that they are making new food cause of the new menu… She helped our check out but still not about the customer. Pros waiter was awesome very attentive the margarita was great for 2 $ this is the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars was because of this

Never again allowed children even babies in a shot taking DJ environment on new years. Sorry but kids under 18 should be at home at this time. THIS is a club environment after hours and kids should not be around. Just my opinion. All to make a dollar. Take lessons from Glorias

The server was attentive and took our drink orders as soon as we sat down. The house margaritas weren’t the best, but they weren’t horrible. The food was good but not great. The worst part was this two piece band that stopped in random places and played loudly.

I am very happy with my experience here. My mother was in town and I wanted to really show off, we were at the mall shopping but were really hungry and just needed to go to the closest place which happened to be here. I was not disappointed. The décor on the inside is fabulous and it is spacious and inviting. The waitress we had was extremely attentive and was able to speak spanish to my mom and english to me. We were looking to share their signature dish, El Molcajete, and upon recommendation from our server we went with it. When it came out it was quite the experience, it was steaming and piled high in this large stone center peice it was very impressive! I had never had cactus before and neither did my mom so we were delighted to find out it tasted like roasted asparagus. There was a little bit of every meat you could want, chicken, shrimp, beef all surround with melting hot cheese and a plate of rice and beans on the side. We ended up getting some pina coladas to tap off our experience and I couldn’t have had a better time. I would go back in heartbeat!!! GREATFOOD, GREATSERVICE, GREATEXPERIENCE!!!

Been here a few times because it’s cheap, and the salsa is on point. The place usually isn’t busy so you get greeted and seated right away. My biggest complaint would be that although the food plates come out hot, my food gets cold by the third bite. And they use too much cheese. Yes, I am complaining about the excess cheese. But overall, the place is worth a drop in if you’re waiting for your movie to start like we normally are.

We went on a Friday night. The music was WAY too loud, the whole place smelled off, the chips were stale, and the police presence was weird and unsettling… as was the clientele. I will say one thing for it – it’s cheap as dirt. Unfortunately, that’s what their tamales taste like they’re made out of.

Love this place. This was one of the first places I went to when I moved to Irving from Virginia Beach. The staff is great and they don’t leave you in the dark wondering about your food. They have a dj on Friday and Saturday night. They also have a band also there on those nights. Great outdoor seating with a dj outside. The only thing that sucks is the parking and that’s only because its Irving mall. The prices are just amazing and that’s for food and drinks. The lunch buffet is great also.

Food is on point! I wish I could say the same for the service. My waitress forgot my queso and brought out beef fajitas(I asked for chicken). On the flip side Wednesdays special is fajitas plate for $ 8 and happy hour is from 3−7pm. $ 2 margaritas, wells, and queso! I left happy :)

I didn’t even want to give it 1 start maybe a-10 would be a good rating for my visit. Why do you ignore customers. Very bad for business. Had to get our own menus, we told quite a few people we were ready to order. Servers would walk by and look at us them look the other way. 3 tables came in and say in the same area and we’re waited on before us. Get a clue people put in a real restaurant.

Los Lupes is better for breakfast tacos. The lunch menu is diverse and they offer a buffet for a very good price, but the food is subpar. The woman running the buffet doesn’t give you everything you ordered and it’s not the most flavorful meal. They have awesome made-to-order tortillas but that’s the best part. You’re better off going to On The Border down the street.

I ate at this place once before and would have given 2 stars for the food… 2 star for the service. Stopped here yesterday just to get a beer at the bar. Bar at the mall interior was closed. The bar by the mall entrance had maybe 6 people in the area. Music was so loud I could not hear the people with me. Sat at the bar for about 5 minutes waiting for a bartender to show up and we noticed a urine smell. Whatever it was it was coming from a filthy wet rag sitting on the bar and the bar was so sticky my arm stuck to it. At that point we left. This place is a total«S» hole. La Margarita right up the street is hard to beat, for that matter On the Border across the street is clean and decend food. Even Chili’s has some pretty good Tex-Mex now. Three good choices within ¼ mile. There is no reason this place should even be open.

Arrived at 4:30 and although busy for an about-to-be Saturday evening there wasn’t a wait. I was by myself and finagled the last booth; service was great and I had my food within 20 minutes. Ordered an $ 8.95 chimichanga with the $ 1.95 fajita steak w/queso sauce and all rice, no beans and the plate came HOT. Was fantastic; only $ 21 including tax and 2 margaritas, will be back!

It’s really unfortunate that fellow Unilocalers have had such horrible experiences at Los Lupes. Yolanda M. and I decided on Los Lupes for lunch since I was off for the day and she works not too far away. I’ve been a Los Lupes fan for years and hoped this location had a lunch buffet, like the Cedar Hill location. Yep, this Los Lupes has a lunch buffet for $ 6.50. All you can eat Mexican food yumminess for the low price of $ 6.50. What more can you want? Our waitress started off checking on us frequently but as time passed and more people came in the restaurant, her attentiveness tapered off. But I really didn’t need anything(minus the check at the end) so it didn’t really bother me. Los Lupes lives up to its awesomeness once again. If you’re thinking about going here, look past the poor reviews(or at the least take them with a grain of salt), and try it out for yourself.

Often, I take Mexican restaurants that heavily advertise their night club/DJ with a grain of salt. I can expect mediocre food because they aren’t really winning patrons over with the quality of ingredients. Little did I know I was in for an experience for the ages… For starters(literally), the queso, though simply melted Velveeta or something of the sort, clumped up upon arrival at our table. No good. Then, I ordered the competition-size burrito. Of course I wasn’t going to finish it, but for $ 14, I thought, at least this meal will fill me up for dinner and breakfast then next day. I went to town on my beans and began working on the burrito. And that’s when the chicken bone hit the top of my mouth. I stopped and reported the bone to the manager, who then noted that«it happens sometimes.» To cut a long story short, Los Lupes lacks customer service, attention to detail, and hospitality.

The worst experience I had in my life … My soup came out cold that never good and the rice came out robbery. The staff and management are incompetent so I will never come back again … If there was a way to give 0 start I would

We found this place while going to the movies and we finally tried it out. Pleasantly surprised! Service is really good, our waiter was fast and the food came out fast too and it was very good for the low price. My BF ordered Enchiladas and the plate was huge, it was $ 6. The house margaritas were decent as well. For the location in Irving and the low price, fast service and fun décor it is well worth it.

This was our first time here. And we only came because it was midnight, and there are very few places open in Irving at this hour. It is SO loud. I wasn’t expecting a Mexican club atmosphere. We can’t hear each other while sitting next to each other, let alone hear the server. We ordered beef nachos, chicken flautas, and a chicken quesadilla. The nachos, were room temperature, and soggy by the time they got to us. The flautas were overlooked, however I did really like the Spanish rice. The chicken quesadilla was fine, but it’s pretty hard to screw that up. Chips and salsa were brought to our table AFTER we were almost done eating. We ended up getting sopapillas because my boyfriend loves them and they were delicious. We would probably come back for those.
