I visited their other location off i35, much better experience!

Avoid. Customer service seems nice but they ‘re inept, and their contractor is clueless.
We stopped in before Christmas to talk about getting new flooring in our master bedroom. (We had to pull up the carpet when we bought the house due to pet stains).
Worked with Curtis, he was friendly and helpful, we picked a flooring we liked, got a rough estimate (they needed their contractor to do measurements before the final quote), we left a small deposit and were told the contacts would come measure on the Monday before New Years.
The day the contractor, Gino, was supposed to come, he never showed. Eventually my husband called him, and he complained repeatedly about driving to Plano, finishing with a blanket statement that he wouldn’t be able to make it till Wednesday.
I took an early lunch break to let him in, and again, he never showed. I called after waiting an hour and he said he’d come by on Saturday. Which he finally did. So he measured the room, seemed annoyed we were only doing one room, then told me he only submits measurements in Friday’s, so it would be a week before the store could get a quote started.
Naturally I asked if he would submit early since he had taken so long, and he replied «i only send measurements once a week».
So we waited a week, and a weekend, and 3 more days, till yesterday, Wednesday. My husband called LL in the morning, and they didn’t pick up. So he left a vm with name, number, and address. They didn’t call back all day. So at 5, I called again and threatened to call the main office. 15 mins later I got a call and they eventually would send Gino out again.
When they finally got the measurements and did the quote, they quoted the wrong material, the wrong finishing (I told them I wanted the current baseboards removed an reinstalled – they quoted a shoe guard finishing instead), wanted to charge for delivery despite Gino telling us that we had to pick up the materials ourselves, and finally forgetting to use the coupon that was the only reason we came in in the first place.
They did offer a dollar per sqft off materials and 10% off labor, yet mysteriously the job came up to $ 1000 more than the initial estimate without those discounts.

The manager and team at Lumber Liquidators did an awesome job helping me to get my floors done! They were patient and very knowledgeable. I recommend them with great confidence!

Ok. this place is the worst customer service I ever had. Glad that I didn’t get thier floor.
I don’t recommend.

It is very disturbing that this company is selling product that can poison children. The report that came out on 60 minutes finally exposed the truth about this company. I would never put flooring in my home that was toxic.

Placed my tile order with Rick Oct.3. Demo started on my home Oct. 22, flooring was scheduled to be installed on ¹⁰⁄₂₉. On Friday, Oct. 24 my husband called to get an ETA on the flooring (because no one knew when it would be here) and they confirmed it was being loaded on the truck and would be delivered to their store that Wednesday, the 29. On Tuesday I called to see if it was still on schedule. They said it was but they couldn’t tell me what time it would arrive. Wednesday I call to see what time my crew can come pickup and they tell me sorry, but it’s been delayed by a day because the driver had too many hours, he had to pull over, blah blah blah some more crap and it would be there Thursday. Thursday morning I get a call from Rick who tells me that sorry, but my tile was on a train that derailed the night before. HUH??? How is that possible when my tile was on a truck that was en route delivering today? He says that he was deceived (by his own company) and he was trying to get answers and he didn’t know when the tile would come. So I spend all day Thursday and this morning driving around to flooring places getting samples with a three year old so my remodel can stay on schedule as much as possible. Then today (Friday morning) on my way to my husband’s job to show him the tiles I just picked up 30 minutes ago, Rick calls me to say my tile is ready for pickup. HUHHHHHHHHHHHH??? How is THAT possible? I am so over it. I was warned by my contractor and other places like Eleganza, Emser and DalTile not to do business with them because their quality was poor (and now, surprise, their customer svc). But we liked their price and they were helpful in the store so we placed the order. I sure would have done things differently.
My husband spoke with a supervisor named Dennis in customer service at headquarters and he offered us a 5% discount for the inconvenience which is a JOKE. I called back because that is unacceptable and Dennis was gone but I got Robert who was rude and not helpful and I have to wait until Monday to speak with someone. I have stressed now for over a week worrying about when my tile would arrive. Then being lied to about my tile being on a train that derailed? And then Dennis had the nerve to say the manager Rick was «confused» about when the tile would arrive. How can you be confused about a TRAIN DERAILMENT? When I would call the store to check status they would screen my calls and not answer so I’d have to call using *67 and they’d answer on the first ring! I have wasted valuable time searching for a new product since they couldn’t tell me when my tile would come. My remodel has been delayed because of this, and now my installation can’t happen until next week because obviously my job wasn’t the only one the flooring installers had on schedule, and they can’t wait around twiddling their thumbs hoping I’ll call them to come pick up my tile.

Yayyy I’m the first one to write a review! Rick and Nick were both very helpful! Very knowledgeable of the flooring and materials needed. Rick helped us pick out the grey wood floors we wanted. Definitely doing business with them again in the future and referring all our friends to them. We really felt like they cared about what we wanted and went beyond the call of duty to help us. (Unlike the floor people at home depot who didnt give a crap about us!!) The wood we got was very good quality, loveeeee itt. (12mm with padding attached for only 2 bucks a square feet!!! Fyi home depot is 3 – 4 $+ and a months wait for materials to arrive) On top of all this, financing is available!
