Why did they start adding corn to their Chinese Fried Rice? YUK! Feels more like Spanish Rice. I used to eat here every time I was in Texas, but not keen on the corn in the rice, so will make the short drive to Grapevine Mills Mall and get Burbon Chicken.

Half the time something is missing in my drive through order. It’s this job that hard? Lol

This is my go-to Panda Express when I want to eat Americanized Chinese food that is cheap and delicious. Very friendly staff, drive-thru and they are always making fresh food. I have only been in the evenings, they always seem to have a stead stream of customers.

I’m a regular at this panda. Good service. Long wait lines during lunch both inside and at the drive thru.

It is disgusting! Cold food, robbery chicken, frozen tasteless spring rolls. We couldn’t eat it. we just left the plates as they are and ran away! I can’t believe how anyone can eat this!

Thai milk tea is so tasty! So glad this panda has a tea bar! Great combo with my fried rice and broccoli beef!

I’m so excited to not only have a Panda Express in Irving, but one that has a boba tea bar as well! Of course, being a Panda fan, I already know the food will be yummy and quick. The option to get boba tea with my meal just makes it all the more tempting to come here for a meal. The only thing keeping me from giving all 5-stars is one particular visit on a Sunday afternoon when they seemed to be out of some pretty basic stuff food-wise. It was after church, and with churches nearby, you’ve gotta be on your A-game after 12. I came in and watched one girl scrape out the last of the orange chicken. Not a bother, I was there for beef & broccoli. They were out of bowls, and I wasn’t hungry enough for a plate. They were also out of white steamed rice. I walked out without getting anything that day. Every other visit has met my expectations, but my policy is, if the doors are open, there is no excuse to be running out of the most popular items on your menu so early in the day. Don’t worry, though. I’ll be frequenting this location for delicious bobas.

Man, the employees here size you up and give you portions that they«think» you can eat. I always get rip off because they think I’m this skinny chick who cant finish a full bowl. I always get rip off here! life is so unfair! Even when I ask for more, they give me a look like I’m trying to get extra and not pay for it. One example, I get chow mein with shrimp walnuts($ 1 extra) they gave me half a bowl of noodles and five shrimps. I told the lady if I’m paying extra dollar for it, she better give me more. She told me if she give me extra then its going to cost extra. I said then you’ll be getting a bad survey from your receipt and peace out. You’ll be hearing it from your manager who will hear it from corporate. Choose your poison.

The very first thing I look for in a restaurant, whether it’s fast food or dine in, is cleanliness… They have it! Food also comes out piping hot with good portions. I can honestly say though, the«Cream Cheese Ragoons» could be prepared a lot better. This location has a very intriguing and modern Tea Bar which I am surprised to see but very thankful for. I’ll definitely return, especially for the Milk Almond Green Tea!

I was craving the steamed veggies and walnut shrimp, so I drove and waited in a long line for cold shrimp and crunchy veggies with no flavor or cabbage. This location disappointed! I would go back and try to fix this, but it is raining, I’m hangry and out of lunchtime. Grrrrr.

If you’re looking for good quality food, freshness, clean, great ambiance, & a wonderful staff… this location is the place to go. Was greeted with a smile and several hellos. Luckily there wasn’t a customer behind me, as I took my time and was able to taste a few entrees. They also have a Tea Bar, which you don’t usually see. I ordered a Thai Tea, which was mixed to perfection, light on the ice. I will definitely be returning to this particular location. By the way, did I mention they have a ‘drive thru’! #happycustomer #greatchinese #fastfood

Typical Panda Express — this is fast food American Chinese … is it even Chinese? LOL. Nice to have another selection during work that offers drive through convenience. Employees have been generally friendly, and because it is new, it has been pretty clean. Note — because this is a new establishment, it has been extremely busy all the time. I would refrain from dining during peak hours if possible. Additionally, in my few times of going here, I noticed you get more food if you stand in line, versus drive through. That could have been coincidental — not sure, but just wanted to mention.

Panda Express is a fast casual chain that serves Chinese food. Panda Express in Irving happens to be one of nicest restaurants in this class. It features a great interior space, feels upscale, and even features a Tea Bar. This review focuses ONLY on the Tea Bar. My Overall Rating — 3 ½ Stars(Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere — Not only is this is nicest Panda Express I have been too, it’s the nicest casual restaurant I’ve been too. There are nice wood seating, comfortable couches(for tea drinkers), and even features flat screen TVs that separate the Tea bar from the main dining area. The entire space features tasteful Asian influenced design. Kudos to whoever designed this space as it’s an awesome way to differentiate them from other restaurants. 1 Star. Service — There is a separate staff that manages the Tea Bar, and on our visit they were very welcoming and helpful. We were invited to sample a number of teas, the recently cooked boba, and the lychee. We were also given a tour of how the Tea Bar works. They were very helpful and friendly. 1 Star. Food(Tea) — First & foremost, be sure you adjust the amount of syrup they put in. Let me start there because our initial samples were way too sweet. We ended up reducing the syrup to 50% and it was still sweet. That being said, their fruit teas(mango & raspberry) were very fragrant and had enough tart to balance out the sweetness. The oolong & milk teas were a bit bland for my tastes. I didn’t get as much«Tea» flavor as I would have liked. Both boba & lychee were great additions — I will saw the boba was cooked perfectly. Bottom line is the fruit teas are good but a bit sweet and the traditional teas were a bit bland. I didn’t see an option for slushes. 1 Star. Will I Return? — Maybe. I still prefer Fat Straws for my drinks, but this Panda Express is super nice. They really did an incredible job with the space. Not sure I’d come back for the drinks specifically, but if you live or work in Irving you need to check them out. ½ Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.

Tried this Panda Express for the first time today and I am impressed. Even at 4 in the afternoon, all the food on the line looked fresh and new dishes were coming out of the kitchen on a continuous basis. The selection was fantastic, probably 12 or more entrees to choose from… all available for sampling by a SUPER friendly staff. The servings were ginormous and although I got the three entrée platter, i would have been full with the two entrée platter. Everything I got was good, although I was not a huge fan of the chicken egg roll… nothing wrong with it, I have just had a lot better.

One of the newest Panda Express in the area and boy its well designed. I hope all the other stores do some remodeling. New and fully staffed. The interior is modernly fitted with a centered in wall TV and a few more flat screens around. This location also has a tea bar, something that panda is trying to venture into. The food was fresh and tasted normal, which is a good this for Panda Express. The biggest deal was the friendly staff and hot food. Beware on Google maps the location is a little off. It is accessible from the service road of 635. Overall the best Panda Express I have been to ever!!!

Great new location, complete with a Tea Bar that serves everything from Oolong to bubble tea. Everything here is extremely clean, and the employees are cheerful, helpful, and competent. I really like the new concept showcased in the design of this restaurant. I have however noticed some changes that I don’t particularly care for. Most importantly the portion sizes. Panda Express in my mind was always a place you could count on for filling you up, their large white iconic Styrofoam trays would always be loaded to the brim with traditional Chinese-American fare. I do like that they’ve moved away from styrofoam, but the new trays are substantially smaller than the old ones. This is especially true with regards to the amount of Rice/Chow Mein dished out. I’m sure this was done as a profit increasing measure, but I really liked having a bit of leftovers from my meal there. I do hope they make the trays a bit deeper in the future. Also as another Unilocaler mentioned, the parking lots is strangely designed and navigating it is a huge pain. Which doesn’t make sense as this is a standalone building that could’ve customized the parking lot anyway it wanted.

Being a new place, it looks nice and feels modern but to keep up with its aesthetics looses the much needed space for seating tables; not too many tables to sit during lunch hour. The parking is a mess especially because of the drive-thru; it should serve as a example on how not to design your parking. It has a separate counter in case if you just need the drinks and do not have to be on the regular line. A small lounge is set up just for that section, so it feels like a upgraded version of PE. The mojito green tea was really good but a little expensive at 3.25 for a regular size. The food is classic Panda, a lot of choices for meat and only very few veggies. The veg spring rolls were good, so was the mixed veggie but the chow mein was little undercooked and lacking flavor and of course these items come with abundance of oil to fulfill your fat quota for the day. The employees are super fast and friendly. It’s just another Panda Express but just for the separate tea section deserves an extra star, otherwise it is just a three star place… nothing bad but nothing stellar either. Hop on board. The Panda Express has arrived at Irving!
