Save your money and do not go here. My girlfriend had gone here during her lunch and raved about it so we went yesterday for dinner. I ordered a chicken Parmesan panini and a cup of bisque. So she brings me my food. It was a sandwich with deli sliced chicken(1 piece) and a slice of cheese … This piece of crap cost me almost $ 8… I was so mad, I was expecting a real chicken Parmesan sandwich and got duped. One miserable slice of paper thin chicken with tomato sauce. My girlfriend ordered her favorite salad and she was dissapointed as well. It was not fresh and when she went back to point this out all she got was pushback … Truly a sucky experience and I will certainly NEVER go back… And all of this crap set me back $ 27.00 I’m so mad… McDonalds would’ve been better at a ¼ of the price… And I don’t like MCdonalds…

I’ve gone to Saladworks a few times for lunch and decided to go with my boyfriend for a healthy dinner. We were the only ones there so we were expecting a great meal. My boyfriend ordered a Chicken Parmesan Panini and lobster bisque. The bisque was disappointing, lukewarm and tasting nothing like the hot soup I’d had before. His sandwich was small and hardly had any chicken in it. It was also lukewarm. I ordered the Farmhouse salad and expected the great tasting salad I’d had before. Instead I received salad and veggies mixed to the point that it looked and tasted like unappetizing mush. The brussel sprouts and squash were so cold it was uncomfortable to eat them. It seemed as though they were stored in the coldest part of the cooler. Ugh. When I complained to the woman behind the counter, she gave me a wide eyed response that that’s the way it was supposed to be. The only good thing was the broccoli cheese soup. We spent over $ 25 for a meal that left us feeling hungry and frustrated. Don’t spend your money at this restaurant. You’ll be playing Russian roulette. The quality is inconsistent.

Meh. I won’t be back when Salata is so close by and so much better. I came at 2pm, so no line at all. I walked up and no one acknowledged me for a minute Or so, despite the fact I was looking around clearly a little bit lost because I’ve never been in before and their salad bar is set up a little different than what I’m used to. Finally a girl offered to help, but she did not ask if I’d ever been in before or offer to explain how it works. So, I just asked«can I just make up a salad?». She did not really answer, but she grabbed a bowl, so I figured she was OK with that. I began selecting ingredients like I would at Salata or Snappy salad, but when I got to around five she informed me that I could only get one more ingredient. Then she asked about dressing and I said oil and vinegar and was told the vinegar they had was red wine(I usually go for balsamic), but I thought I would give it a try. Overall, the salad was OK. Ingredients seem to be fresh. Their meat choices were not very exciting. I got plain grilled chicken, as opposed to Salata who offers things like pesto chicken. At the register, I was surprised to find out that it was every bit as expensive as Salata even though I had been limited to the number of toppings that I could have and they did not have near the selection that Salata does. They need to step up their game to compete with Salata and Snappy.

First and last time here. I ordered a Caesar salad and there was TOO much egg in the salad. I asked the manager for a refund because the salad was not edible. She replied normally we don’t do refunds, but I’ll do it this one time. I replied this is my first and last time coming here.

Wow is this place bad. First, and most importantly, if you’re a SALAD shop and the word«SALAD» is in your name, you better have fresh, homemade dressings. This place didn’t. All bottled, except for two apparently: a salsa ranch(which I’m pretty sure was bottled ranch with a healthy dose of Pace picante sauce mixed in, making it «homemade»); and an apple cider vinaigrette which tasted not at all like apple, or cider or vinaigrette and had the consistency of congealing bacon fat. Just awful. The lettuce and all ingredients looked like what you’d find at a cafeteria. All probably opened from large bags that morning. Nothing seemed fresh or appetizing. At noon, the place was 1⁄3 full, maybe. Contrast that with Snappy Salads – a GREAT salad joint – where the line is out the window at lunch time. There’s a reason for that.

My panini sandwich was cold in the middle, which after the service I had was a problem. A group of four of us came to lunch, and through some breakdown in communication the other three members of my party, and three people behind us all had their salads made before my mine was started. I was asked to go sit and wait. Five minutes later, I went up to inquire after the state of my meal, which I had already paid for. They hadn’t started on it yet, and were serving customers who came in after we ordered. To top it off, the lady informed me rather bruskly that if I would go sit and wait they would bring it to me. I infer she meant, «when we’re good and ready» since it took an additional five minutes or so. By the time I got my cold-in-the-middle panini, the other three folks I had come to eat with were nearly finished with their meals. Despite this, my food came with an obligatory and lackluster«sorry,» with no concern otherwise about the incredibly poor customer service. I was thoroughly underwhelmed with my experience here at Saladworks.

First(and LAST) visit today during the noon hour. Stood in a fairly quick-moving line & was excited about trying this place. Employees skipped right over helping me, not once but twice. As they asked the third person BEHIND me how they could help, I replied«Are you seriously going to skip over me for a third time? I’ve waited politely in line like everyone else… do you not want my business?» The two women giggled, and the one with glasses said, «Sorry» in an extremely mimicking way. Gracious sake, I’m very patient but completely ignoring a customer?! This was the rudest treatment I’ve ever received. I work close by in a large, Las Colinas office, and our building uses the Foodsby delivery service which offers Saladworks each week. I will not hesitate to share my experience with coworkers and friends. The food looked decent but these folks have a l-o-n-g way to go in learning about how to provide the most basic customer service. Way to make a first impression!

I drove in Friday afternoon rush hour traffic to get food. It was late, and I had forgotten lunch and I needed to fuel a workout, and I drove in traffic. For. A. Salad. I was prepared to be frustrated and disappointed, but was relieved and quite pleased with my tasty Farmhouse Salad. Baby kale(not the tough chewy kind), brussel sprouts and butternut squash combined into an unexpected flavorful plate that was brightened by the apple cider vinegar. I did have to pay for extra toppings like onions and more sprouts, but the serving size was still right. The turkey sausage and kale soup was okay, though I was expecting more along the lines of Italian Wedding. Friendly and prompt customer service means I will be back to try their other menu offerings.

There are so many delicious options. I love how they have previews of different salads that they offer. My husband and I go here on our lunch break and have tried something new each time. We have not been disappointed. This place is so good, you have to try it!

This place just opened. My coworker and I went to get lunch from here. I got Turkey Cobb salad with thousand island dressing. It was really good and the to-go boxes are cute. I came back and got a Bentley saad w/thousand island dressing and pasta added to it. It was yummy. The portions they give you is A LOT! It’s not skimpy at all! I wish they had pasta salads though, or maybe they do, I just havent looked hard enough. Place is big and clean. Good choices. They display their food, & it doesnt look rotten So I guess they display something new everyday.

Worst experience ever~~~ Go to SALATA. The quality, service, & portions are much better for a lesser price!!! I’ve been eyeing this place for a while and finally decided to give it a try… BADDECISION! Location/Parking — This place is located in a very congested area — full of other restaurants so parking is a little rough depending on the time of day. Indoor/Cleanliness — Very open space, clean, bright & free of any foul smells. Customer Service — RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!!! I wasn’t greeted when I walked in. I was just asked — What do you want? Then they guy kept yelling WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? As if I was speaking another language. I finally had to ask someone else to take my order — That was no better. I don’t believe the workers could understand me. After I placed my first order(I had two) I wanted to order my second salad however, I was so pissed I just told the cashier what I wanted and paid for both then got BACK in the line to place the second. Each time I ordered I was constantly reminded that each additional topping was $.79 of which I replied — that is ok. I will gladly pay the extra. No need to repeat it for the next 3 toppings! :-(Even the salad dressings were extra… What’s a salad with no dressing? My total was $ 21.89 for a 2 salads & a cup of soup. Even the soup was wrong… :-( Food Quality — After I finally get back to work the salad is not as good as I was hoping. The tomatoes were soft(probably needed to be thrown out or on its last day). The meat was not seasoned at all. It was basically just boiled meat… DISGUSTING! The extra salad dressings I paid for were not in my bag after which I was charged extra for them as well. As much as I love soup and salads, this place SUCKS! From now on, I will make the extra 2 mile drive and go to Salata! There is no way I would recommend this place to anyone. No matter how close they are to the office.

Ok you have to excuse me my fellow Unilocalers I been busy… but anywho went to this place last week. Its a nice place right across the street from where I work and I must say its not like Salata or Snappy Salads. First you are limited to how much you can put on your salad. Anything extra you will have to pay. With Salata or Snappy Salad there is no limit. The staff you can tell that they are new. I got a salad and the broccoli cheese soup. The salad tasted really fresh which I love even the chicken and shrimp was delish. The broccoli soup was really good nice warm and cheesy. Overall I will add this to my list to go for lunch. They give the area a little bit more variety.
