San Simeon Apartments

Omg there regional manager is almost as worst at their management in the actual office. Word of advice people AVOID moving here at all cost. You can find something more affordable and nicer, along more then likely better management then this hell hole! Their regional manager Vicki Berry had NO concern or remorse regarding the things I been dealing with these apartments and the staff. She kept cutting me off, on top of she was DRIVING it sounds like and talking to someone else. Where is the RESPECT, But who can blame the office staff, look at the upper management. And still can get ahold of anyone at the corporate level. All Vicki had to say was that San Simeon does no wrong and they did their job lol WOW and she had the nerve to just sit there in silence, if you dont care or not gonna do anything, hell at least fake it and show some concern about the matter. God these people need help!!! BY FAR THE WORST PLACE EVER TO LIVE! Save yourself the trouble! Oh and to say that EVERYONE pays the amount for rent its a LOCKED rate haha so my next door neighbor who pays 715, and my upstairs BFF who pays 765 and I pay 750. Its a set rate hahahah Duh ppl can negotiate these things at times. Dont lie and say ppl pretty much pay the same thats a big difference and considering she is going month to month now and still pays what they are asking for a renewal. Lol lets at least try and be honest here!

This is one of the best properties in Irving. It’s clean, well maintained, quiet. We love living here. Amber and her staff are professional but yet done to earth and very friendly. If you are moving to Irving or relocating this is the spot.

Management is corrupt and dishonest. I originally came to these apartments because they were cheap, but there are many hidden costs. First, Management charged me a late fee while I was in the hospital (the only time I was ever late), which I consider bad business. Second, I was charged two $ 75 NSF fees because of a glitch in their online billpay system, PropertyBridge. The fees were not refunded. Third, they allow «roam towing.» So, when a friend of mine parked in my covered parking spot with my permission during a hail storm, her car was towed within a half hour. Fourth, the apartment manager, Sharon Martinez, assured me that the condition of my apartment was suitable for me to receive my entire deposit. Upon moving out, I was mailed a letter from Trimarchi that listed several fabricated damages. The letter informed me that I would not receive my deposit, as I had been promised, and that I would be billed an additional $ 100. I paid it in order to maintain my perfect credit. San Simeon is in a bad neighborhood. Break-​ins are all too common as you will read from other reviews I have lived in several apartments around DFW, and this has been my worst experience with management. I can deal with stupidity, but I do not tolerate dishonesty. I would strongly discourage anyone from moving here.

Today we got towed from these apartments. WE LIVE in these apartments, our cars are both updated as being allowed to PARK in these apartments, yet EVERY night I come home from work and ALL the parking spots are taken. The only choice I have getting off from work at 3 am is to park in the very front of the complex and I live in the very back. Did I mention I’m 7 months PREGNANT? YES what a great IDEA make a pregnant lady walk over a mile after 10 hours of work at 3 am to get back to her apt!!! I ADMIT I parked where I should not have, but unfortunately that STILL seemed like the better option than being FORCED to park over a mile away at 3 am!!! I CAN’T WAIT to move OUT of this place!
Did I mention the contempt the staff treats you with when you go to the office to try to retrieve your mail? If they are busy trying to sell an apt to someone else than you are seen as nothing more than an INCONVENIENCE to them! They ask you to wait the 20 or 30 min it takes them to finish helping their would be sale over the 2 min it would take them to get your package as AN ALREADY PAYING RESIDENT!!!
The ONLY thing that I am going to miss about these apt is their maintanance staff. I mean the guys that come fix things when things get broken. They are usually very effecient and helpful. I don’t mean the mowers, blowers and all the other yard maintanance staff they have on hand. It’s amazing to be someone who has a night job that gets woken up on almost a biweekly basis by lawn mowing and/​or leaf blowing early in the morning.
Also…Shannon P. is right. The gates NEVER work. They’re ALWAYS broken.

The apartment is as looks on the website so that is good. They are upgraded apartments but thats about it. Small details that matter to me like having a kitchen sprayer at the sink it does not have. The area is rough at best and the gates never work, ever. People for most part are quiet, except for those that have all of their extended family living in their one apartment. People are not friendly but I think that is because of the extreme diversity here.
Im staying for my six month lease and moving. Don’t hate it, not worth the money and def not proud to say I live off of Belt Line and Walnut Hill. Looking at H.E.B OR GRAPEVINE instead.
