Shady Grove Wings

I went to this place two days ago. I burnt my mouth and two days later my ass is still burning. The wings were not well cooked, and the ranch came from a Sam’s Club jar. My biggest disappointment as I was walking in was the counter clerk being pissed off while I was choosing from the menu, first warning sign but I’m kind of stupid as my wife will attest to. As two of my five alarms were going off nonetheless based on Unilocal reviews I still proceeded to order this place is no diamond in the rough my ass is rough two days later. Shit came frozen from the fridge to the fryer nothing special, when the food came out it burnt my mouth. Nonetheless the masochist I am I still proceeded to eat the food. My toilet is not happy with me. /​/​llegué a este lugar hace dos días. Me queme el hocico y el culo y dos días me sigue doliendo. Las alitas estaban mal cocidas y el aderezo salió de un frasco del Sam’s Club. Mi mayor desilusión es que al entrar el tipo que estaba atendiendo se encabrono cuando me tarde en pedir, esto debió haber sido mi primer alarma pero soy muy pendejo como mi mujer puede confirmar. Ya sonaban dos de mis cinco alarmas pero basado en los comentarios de Unilocal aún decidí en poner mi orden esto no es ningún diamanté esperando descubrir, necesito todavía controlar mi culo dos días después. La comida salió congelada del refri a la freidora, no fue nada especial, salió la comida y me quemó la boca. Sin embargo como soy masoquista decidí comer El platillo. Mi inodoro está muy encabronado con esa decisión.
Encima cobran por rellenar el refresco después de la segunda ocasión. Hazme un favor a tu culo, tu hocico y a tu vaso de soda y evita éste pinche lugar.

I came here because it had good reviews but unfortunately my experience was not well. It’s all basic frozen simple food.
When we arrived the workers were not welcoming or friendly, I actually felt they got upset because we took our time deciding what to order. Price was ok, I won’t complain about that.
The place needs a bit more work and to fix their AC. One thing I did hate (and I hate in general) is when they get greedy and cheap with he fountain drinks. Right above the soda machine their was a sign that said «one refill only». Won’t be coming back.
On another note, the food was so hot it burned my mouth!

I use to love going here when I was in high school! Now I come back to irving just to eat these wings. They have big sized chicken wings you are sure to get full off of! Good price and comes with celery and carrots and ranch! …unlike those higher price tier chain wing places that give the smallest wings AND you have to pay for celery and ranch.
That’s the beauty of a family owned place!
Burgers are also huge and great for the price! Korean owners can sometimes appear to be unhappy but If I had to deal with high schoolers all day I’d be the same! Only complaint is that the business hours are a little floppy, they sometimes close earlier than stated if they are not getting enough customers that day. So I recommend not coming last minute!

It looks a bit shady (intended) but it really is a pleasant surprise! Wings are good. If you get hot, make sure to have a gallon of water at your side.

This is a true diamond in the rough place. Hard to understand a sweet lady working behind the counter The place looks a little well age. But if you want the best wings in town to take home this is the place to come.

We got medium spice wings. SO good. The wings are meaty, and the sauce has something addicting in it! We will get our wings from Shady Grove wings from now on! They don’t have any blue cheese dressing as a dip which made me sad, but the wings made up for it, and the price was less expensive then any other place in Irving. YUM!

Craving wings and randomly found this place. A real nice surprise. We couldn’t really understand the woman behind the counter but she must have put all her effort in cooking wings not English lessons. Don’t underestimate her ability to make wings. We shared a burger and fries as well but wings were the highlight. Closed on Mondays.
