DONOTPASSTHISPLACEUP! Just got off a flight at DFW and thanks to Unilocal,we got lunch here. It’s totally a locals joint. Laminate table tops from the 80’s, holes in the booth seats patched with duct tape… But do not be turned away. I’m pretty sure abuelita is in back making beans and marinating the carne every morning. Tacos run at $ 1.25 each. Full meal(carne asada burrito, rice, beans) $ 6! I will be back

Hoo-boy am I stuffed. I just left this restaurant and can’t believe I ate so much. A very good treasure to run across. This was the best $ 9 I’ve spent for lunch in a long time. I only gave this place 4 stars only because a tip jar was on the counter. I only tip when I’m served at the table and checked on from time to time by a wait person. Otherwise the food was great.

So yeah I drove up and saw the look of the building and I was pretty exciting. When you come across hole in the wall joints in old fast food buildings often times you discover the diamond in the rough. This place is that. There are so many choices so I had the owner pick. She chose chilaquiles. That is some of the best damn corn tortilla concoction that I’ve ever had. It’s so spicy I was sweating.(I’m a sissy) I couldn’t stop eating it. Also sampled the fajita and barbacoa tacos. With cilantro, onion, lime and her green sauce! I was in food nirvana! Hell yeah this is the place! Great prices too.

First time. All I can say is «thank you Unilocal!» Great food! Tried a little bit of several things. Barbacoa tacos are awesome! Fajita tacos, carne asada burrito very good. The chilaquilas are excellent! The sauce is just so good and just the right spice! The red hot sauce is good, but the green sauce is excellent! We will definitely be back for more.

The lady working here was so incredibly sweet! That alone gets an extra star. Seriously she was the nicest person. We ordered an assortment of things… I got 2 tacos and a sope, the bf ordered a taco, tostado and burrito. Everything was good and quite spicy. She gave us about a million limes so I doused everything in lime juice… limes make everything better. Everything was really good. IDK that i would go out of my way to come here but if I was in the area I definitely would. Yum!

I had a beef taco, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. This place is legit Mexican food so don’t expect Tex Mex. the food was delicious, spicy, and packed full of grease. The chips and salsa were on point! I have no complaints. They also had great customer service. I will definitely go back when I’m in the area!

I actually haven’t tried the tacos but I’ve had several things that are downright awesome: –Gorditas(de deshebrada — marinated shredded beef) –Carne asada fries –Breakfast burritos(amazing price for a huge burrito. The egg + chorizo is my favorite) –Soups in general — they have menudo on the weekends, chicken soup and pozole all the time Dessert menu changes and I’ve had good flan and a few other things.

Tacos al Pastor is pretty good, but that’s about it. I’m not badmouthing them, but it’s definitely not the best taco place in DFW. The Hits: –Bistec asado tacos were good –Pollo tacos were very good –Carnitas tacos were very good –I got corn tortillas, but they offer flour ones too and I like that The Misses: –Ordered nachos, but received carne asada fries instead. They were alright, but just not what we ordered. –The guacamole definitely tasted store-bought and not even a good kind. –Fajita chicken tacos were straight-up gross. The meat was really dry and tasted possibly frozen as well. Didn’t finish them and gave leftover meat to my dogs. I’d eat here again possibly. If I do, I’ll try their gorditas because they look pretty tasty. Given the choice, however, I’d rather go elsewhere for really bangin’ tacos.

Great food! My favorite thing there is their Pozole Rojo. It’s literally the best I’ve had, but it’s only available Friday-Sunday. Never actually sat inside the restaurant. I always pick up my food from there after work, so I can’t really tell you about their service inside. Drive through can take a while sometimes, which is why I usually call in my order. One complaint is that sometimes when I call, there has been no answer or something was wrong with the service so that I couldn’t even get through. Other than that, everything I’ve eaten from here has been delicious, and I recommend you give this local business a try! It may not seem like much but you may find yourself surprised.

I was disappointed on this place. The food is just ok. Had better tacos at taco stands in Dallas. The meat was over cooked and dry. The guacamole tasted like the commercial pre packaged kind. I also tried the Pozole rojo out of curiosity I will say it was bland and full of fatty meat floating around. I think my expectations were high as the reviews are. I will say the restaurant is maintained very clean and the service was excellent. Not going back.

Great food and service! Like others have the posted the staff is very friendly and I also spoke with who I believe was the owner. It was my 2nd trip there, I ordered breakfast and he had made several recommendations on other items for future visits. Ok, on to the the food. I had the THEBEST breakfast burrito of my life! It was chorizo and egg with potatoes. OMG. The tortilla was grilled and kind of crumbly, soo good. I put the the verde(green) salsa on it. Amazing. I’m going back in a couple days for another one. I cant wait.

As a nachos connoisseur, I highly recommend getting their nachos here. They’re excellent. If you like jalapeños though, request extras. Cause they do skimp on those. Aside from that, enjoy!

I’ve been there twice for lunch and I really enjoyed the food. I’ve tried several tacos and the carne asada burrito and it’s all been great. The owner is friendly and service is good. The meat tastes very fresh and the prices are very reasonable. I plan on making this a regular lunch spot!

I absolutely love this place! You can get a solid lunch here for five dollars and the food is generally excellent. It’s small, clean, and has a great staff. Here are the standouts I would recommend: Machaca – shredded pork, potato and egg dish served with tortillas and salsa. This is absolutely delicious and you can’t find it in a lot of the Tex-Mex chains in this area. Their salsa rojo is also fantastic – if you like spice, definitely ask for it. Carne Guisada – this stewed beef is delicious with just the right amount of spice. Carne asada fries – this is something you should get to share, as one portion is huge and very rich, but it’s to die for. French fries, carne asada, sour cream, salsa, pico, cheese, and guacamole. Carne asada burrito – I recommend this over the«beef burrito» because the beef burrito is, in my opinion, a tad dry and underseasoned. The carne asada burrito is, however, a real winner. Tacos de lengua – not the best beef tongue tacos I’ve had(I order them everywhere I can) but it’s definitely tender. If tongue grosses you out, try chicken or beef, both are good. If you are used to enchiladas being cheesy and saucy, don’t order them here. These enchiladas are very traditional(small, dense filling, only cheesy if you get the cheese ones). While I like them this way, Tacos El Pastor tends to make them both a bit too dry and oily at the same time, so I stick to other options.
