I was in a wedding a few weeks ago, and it was the smoothest wedding I’ve ever been a part of. It was actually a little irritating how seamless it all was… what can I say, I like a little drama. Plus I was the MOH/problem solver, and I was left with no real problems to solve! Anyways, the reception was no exception, it too was perfect. Banquets Unlimited handled everything, and they handled it very well. The food was amazing, the decorations tasteful, and the bartender pretty good. The worst thing I could say about it is that our head table was maybe a little sparsely decorated. Other than a centerpiece in front of the bride and groom, there was nothing on the table save our place setting. And the way the tables were set up made one side of the room feel a bit cramped. But every other aspect was great. I thought it was very nice that they box up leftover food for folks to take home, and instead of going around serving cake to all the guests and taking up a lot of time, they did the same with the cake, boxed it up and set it on a table in the foyer for guests to take on their way out. Therefore giving me the opportunity to eat my cake the next morning for breakfast with ice cream and strawberries. Very thoughtful indeed!

Very clean building. It was done up very beautifully for the wedding that I attended. The staff were very friendly and actually made conversation with guests instead of awkwardly standing around waiting for something to do. The staff were also very attentive and there was never an excess of trash at any table that I could see. The dance floor is pretty small, but so is the building, so that is to be expected. The bar staff was very nice and kept the drinks coming without too long of a wait.

Came here for Mother’s Day Buffet 2012. Was very underwhelmed by this place. The place was overcrowded and obviously in violation of fire code with the amount of people they had crammed in the place. I felt as if we were being herded around and treated like cattle. Also, they did not provide as many chairs as we had reserved with our reservation. Some of the members of our party had to wait and stand until someone else from our party was done eating. Next, we saw the waitress once during our whole meal. I asked for a Pepsi, and she brought me a coffee, and I never saw her again until everyone had finished their meal. The food itself was on the verge of OK and just not good. My chicken parm was cold as were my sweet potatoes. It could have been that we had to wait in line for about 20 minutes with the food plates in hand. The only thing that was noteworthy was the wedding soup. Quite good. To top it off, as we started to eat, an elvis impersonator came out. Everyone at our table’s eyes said it without having to verbally say anything… WTF?!? It felt degrading. Oh… and he sang«Amazing Grace.» It was absolutely unbearable.
