First time here and I’ll be back. Great food, fast, very friendly service. Even the owner stopped to say Hi

This place is really good. You can’t go wrong with the Sunday brunch. Best food and super friendly staff.

My go to place when I am looking for a relaxing evening. I always feel as though I am visiting with family when I stop in at Mimi’s because the owners are so welcoming and will come and greet you while you are dining. I always order the house wine and seldom order the same menu item twice because I like trying out a new dish each time. My friend and I usually go together and we seem to always run into another friend or two while we are there which only adds to the comforting environment we experience at Mimi’s. Great selection of desserts.

Bella Mimi’s is a hidden gem in Jeannette. I have been there several times since it opened. Food is always amazing! Homemade bread is delicious. And desserts are to die for! Seriously to die for! Owners are very friendly with the patrons. Wait staff could be better but not terrible. Try this and I promise you will not be disappointed!

Italian hoagie is really good, pizza too! I love the sky high chocolate cheesecake. Owners and bartenders are friendly!

We celebrated nona’s 90th birthday here in the private side room off of the kitchen. Downtown Jeannette can be a sad, sad place so I’m happy to see this is one of the brighter spots(businesses still breathing). Mimi’s is like most other Italian restaurants in the Greensburg/Jeannette/Latrobe area. Slightly Americanized menu options with red sauce, standard pastas, and entrée prices ranging from $ 10 — $ 16. I opted for a glass of red wine($ 6) and bowl of the past fagiole(quite tasty) — I also enjoyed trying my boyfriend’s wedding soup. Mimi’s did an impressive job of keeping up with our 18 person group. I enjoyed that we were able to have this private side space without feeling über isolated from the rest of the restaurant.

Nice corner Italian place with several dining areas for groups or for some privacy. Booths in the main bar area and two seperate dining areas apart from the bar. Chicken parm was great! But, the best kept secret is the deserts which were all homeade. pies and cakes, I mean, great! Do not depart without trying a desert offering.

It was a tough choice for me between 1 or 2 stars. There were so many things with this place that was just not right. The waitress was not good at all, she kept forgetting things and seamed like she was in a bad mood the whole time. One nice thing they do here is give free glasses of wine since they are not allowed to sell alcohol. I ordered a sandwich and they told me they are not allowed to be ordered after 4 even though it didn’t say that in the menu. I ordered something else but later another person came over and said they would make it for me anyways. When the sandwich came the bread was so messed up I could not pick it up and had to eat it with a fork and knife. The sweat potato fries were not done and were a bit pile of mush. There were other waitresses there that seamed pretty nice as a matter of fact they were the ones that helped us most of the time instead of our own waitress. All in all I could not recommend this place after seeing and tasting the quality of the food and having a waitress that was not very nice.

Normally this place is decent — and byob. Just make sure before you go that they are fully staffed, or you will be suffering for a 3 hour dinner that wasn’t worth it…
