Came here after visiting Incycle a few times, no elitist vibe here. Jorge is friendly helpful very fairly priced. I had been hit by a car and my bike took the brunt of the impact, he replaced my rear dérailleur cable, rear wheel and swapped over my tire in ~40 min. Labor and parts were very fairly priced, support your local bike shop and come here!

I stumbled across this shop and decided to stop in to pick up some tubes. Irwindale Cycles is a small shop with just a handful of bikes stacked along the wall and a display case with random bike components. This is not a bike shop to just stop in and browse. The tubes they sold me cost $ 7.50 each and just came with a rubber band around them. Despite the look of the tubes, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. The first tube only lasted me 20 miles before the valve busted, no puncture. The second tube didn’t last much longer. Bottom line, do not buy tubes from this place.

After visiting another cycle shop, located in San Dimas, I went to Jorge with my hand cycle. The other shop told me I need to completely change my entire derailer, my hand cycle is only 6 months old, they also said; there was no way it can work – the design was flawed. I didn’t believe them so I went for a second opinion. Jorge came out and took all of but a few minutes, went and got his hand tools, and fixed the derailer – by tuning it properly. A 10.00 fix. Jorge has been my choice for all of my cycle maintenance from then on. Great service, very nice Jorge, and honest too.

Went in to get my chain fixed. Jorge approached me if I needed help. He explained to me what needed to be done and the cost. Fixed my broken chain inspected if the chain has life on it. Provided pointers regarding shifting uphill to prevent snapping my chain. Thanks for the fast repair.

Excellent service! Went to get my bike serviced because the chain was slipping in all gears. Martin the owner took his time and walked me through all the issues, he was very informative. I have an older mountain bike, so he was mindful about keeping the cost down. Turns out one of the shifters was not compatable with my set up(got it from another shop). Total labor was only 20 bucks, cost of a new shifter. He also straightened out my rear tire and fixed the chain at no additional cost. My old bike feels like new again. This is the second time I come here, and the service has been fantastic. Martin knows what he’s doing, and he has a loyal customer for life.

Needed air for my bike and saw irwindale cycles sales and repair. I walk in to no greetings. I approached the person working there and ask if I can borrow a pump. His reply was«we don’t have a pump!» WTH? bike shop that performs repairs with no pump! Really? Wow! I would’ve paid if he had one and charge but no pump… how do you operate a bike shop without a pump? Let alone perform repairs? Its like going to in n out with no fries! Maybe I will donate one so they can help people who are in need of air! 0

I took my bike out of the garage after who knows how long. I thought I needed a tube and so I took it to this place. It was the closest to my house. His prices were pretty good for the tube and labor. It was his service that got me hooked. He was patient with me and answered all my questions. He explained what my best options were. Granted he did try to sell me on a tune-up, but that’s his job right? I’ll keep coming back to this place simply for the service. I walked out the door 30 minutes later, and hadn’t bought anything and he still treated me like a champ. He really knows how to value his customers!

Poor customer service! They hung up on me twice. Incredibly rude owner and mechanic. Would never let them touch any of my bikes. Make you feel like you are a bother. Too bad it’s the only bike shop near Santa Fe Dam, still will prefer to drive further away to shop maned by professional cyclists.

Have been here several times. Have always had good service. I bought my khs urban extreme here. i wanted a large size frame and he told me i should get a medium. I dont change my mind easily but i figured he is the expert. He explained to me how my size 5’9″ would not work out for me with a large. He was totally right. I have come here a few times needing adjustments with my bikes or sisters bike and it always gets handled. very reasonable prices. if you buy a bike here they will give you no charge tune-ups and adjustments for a year. that includes the rims that sometimes bend and wobble when you hit something. i brought my nephew’s rim here all mangled from some kid running into him and martin fixed it. he told me he was not sure if he could but he would try. when i came to pick it up the next day i was surprised he was able to fix it. he didn’t even charge me extra. he charged me the same as if it was 1 or 2 spokes just loose. So far good service. They mainly sell the Giant brand of bicycles here. it’s a cool spot cause it’s close the the santa fe dam. i cant believe the owner Martin still remember’s my name every time i walk in.

They worst customer service by far of any bike shop in the San Gabriel Valley. No matter what hour you show up, you will feel like your bothering him(owner I assume) from fixing bikes in the back of the shop.
