I was pressed for time on lunch and it was nearby so I figured I’d try it. I wanted something relatively healthy-there’s a subway next door but there was no way I was getting that. The menu is pretty straight forward. A mixture of mostly chicken, steak, but also veggie options with rice. I also saw they serve miso soup. I personally ordered the half-half bowl(half chicken and steak with white rice and onions). I also ordered drive-thru. It was fast service for being prime lunch hours. The food was served hot and was decently presentable for fast food. I liked both meats, and for 600 calories you can’t beat it! It didn’t blow my mind, but was really good and decent portion too. I’m sure I’ll be coming again.

Went in today for lunch to try it out and it was pretty bomb. Very clean and very nice people lets hope it stays like that for a while. I’d come here again for lunch :)

Love the food! Love the atmosphere! Very nice and well built and put together. I’ve been here a couple times, every time I’ve gone, the cashiers always greet with a smile. They make me feel very welcome. Food is great. Very delicious and well portioned. Definitely coming back for more. I’d say lunch time is busy but I have gone after 5 and its less crowded. Either way, I’ll be back

Brand new. Nice place, but they obviously need better management. Ordered my food at 12:14. It’s 12:35 and I still don’t have my food. There are about 15 people standing waiting.

Had a quick lunch today at Waba Grill and I’ve decided to share my thoughts during this experience. I’ve never been to any Waba Grill so I don’t know if they’re all the same. I quickly ordered the miso soup. If it’s on the menu, I’m a buyer. I wasn’t sure what else to order, so after asking about my «side» options, I decided to order a half and half bowl with brown rice and a drink. Immediately the cashier turns to the kitchen and yells out my order. I quickly told her to please be quiet as I didn’t like my personal business being thrown around like that. After an awkward moment of silence, I paid, got my order number and moved on. Went to the self-serve soda bar and got a half-Dr. Pepper, half-Diet Coke. I self applauded my «healthy» choice. Found a seat and picked up my order. Went back to the counter for some soy sauce and hot sauce mixed with waba sauce(teriyaki; who you tryin’ to fool?). The perfect ratio is 1 part hot sauce to 2 parts waba sauce. Spilled a bit of the hot waba sauce on my hand while I stirred it with my fork. Poured the rest onto my bowl. Was immediately reminded why you shouldn’t touch your face or eyes when you’ve recently touched hot sauce. Put some soy sauce into my miso soup; a must in my book! Went in for a sip and immediately burnt my lips, tongue and mouth. I should have known better, but I was hungry. I suppose hot soup is far better than cold soup. Saw a guy with LOYALTY tattooed on his forearm. Not sure if he’s advertising his desire in others or if he’s advertising his own loyalty. If he’s the loyal one, to what or whom is he loyal? Too much work involved in this thought, I just labeled him untrustworthy and left it at that. Went back to get another soda. Now I’m in full denial about the healthy soda choice, especially for a diabetic. I’ll drink water for the rest of the day to make up for it. Finished the bowl. It was good. I especially liked the charred bits on the meat and the brown rice wasn’t dry. Now I’m starting to wonder about the healthy-ness of the waba sauce. Went back to the miso. It’s important to note that it must be stirred constantly in order to maintain proper broth to miso ratio, otherwise, it’s weird stuff. Yummy. Had no tofu, which I thought was strange, but no complaint. All in all, it was good. I’d go back again.
