I love this place!!! They have so many options, and I haven’t had a single bad smoothie here. They always blend it well too so there aren’t any gross chunks at the bottom. You can also substitute something if you’re allergic or you don’t like something, for no extra charge(I always substitute for berries instead of banana since I don’t like bananas in my smoothies). And you get one supplement for free! The supplements always make me feel so healthy lol. My person favorites are berries plus and strawberry colada! Definitely try them if you like berries or piñacoladas. Yum!

The best place to get a smoothie! No other smoothies compare. My favorite is the tropical guava. Also their acai bows are so good and filling!

The workers here have always been really fast and friendly. I’ve never disliked anything I’ve gotten here before and you can customize whatever drink or get something off the menu.

Blenders In The Grass used to be my addiction my first year here at UCSB. I honestly had Blenders at least two times a week. I then went to rehab to kick my Blenders addiction, mostly because I couldn’t afford to spend $ 5 for a smoothie every other day. But yesterday I relapsed and paid my old addiction a visit with my roommate. I got my go-to smoothie of Strawberry Colada and my roommate got a Tropical Mango. After the first few sips we both agreed that the smoothies aren’t what they used to be. The smoothie was bland, not as flavorful as I remembered it. I’m not sure what caused this decline in flavor, maybe it’s because certain fruits aren’t in season, maybe it was just the day I visited, I don’t know. However I do know that I would still pay Blenders a visit every now and then, but it isn’t anything special anymore.

EVERYONE told me to try this place because it’s better than Jamba Juice. And literally it is. I went to the one located in Isla Vista. I went here after SIlvergreens. It’s a pretty small store. The menu is on the left side when you walk in. I got the tropical guava that everyone has been raving about, getting the 24 oz and splitting it with a friend. They allow you to add a supplement for FREE which is so nice. I ended up LOVING the tropical guava. It’s definitely not your typical smoothie like Jamba because it’s just so much smoother(if possible) and the flavors are unique. I could taste the hint of guava but it’s not too overwhelming. I finished the 12 oz in 5 minutes and wanted more. I WISHEDTHEYHADBLENDERSINTHEOC. BRINGBLENDERSHEREPLEEEEEASE!

I love Blenders! I loved going here when I was in college. whether it was the morning after partying, or just because I was thirsty, it was always a nice treat. The smoothies always came out smooth and delicious. I feel like Jamba Juice is always really icy, or too sugary. Blenders is much more natural. My favorites are the guava and the strawberry(I can’t remember the exact names). There’s free supplements you can add which is always a plus. They need to open a location in San Jose asap.

I just tried the Tropical Kale smoothie. Excellent! Different from other smoothies I’ve had. Great customer service from the people working there, I got my drink in a minute, and they were very nice. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

My brother attends UCSB and raves about this place. He took me here one time when my husband and I visited him. I forget what smoothie we ordered but I feel like I would have remembered what it was if the smoothie was memorable. As it turned out, the smoothie was average. Blenders In the Grass is comparable to Jamba Juice. One difference may be that Blenders In the Grass offers free powder additive to all smoothies, while Jamba Juice does not.

HALLELUJAHITSBLENDERS. So i’ve tried every flavor at blenders hahahahaha! Don’t judge me folks. Most of them are decent but my FAVORITE is the tropical fuzz MMMM. It’s not on the menu but it’s in that book they have on the table. The green tea one is delicious and so is the pitaya YUMMMMY. I don’t like the cranberry one or the strawberry piña colada cause it’s gross but blenders is quick and fresh and you can build your own smoothie which is really cool really cool. The price is affordable-only 5 bucks for the regular. It is definitely something I miss about in IV cause IMNOTTHERENOMO.

Really close to the UCSB campus. Wide selection, you get a pretty sizable cup and it’s very filling. I’m not really into smoothies, and it’s prices are similar to jamba juice. i shared a strawberry banana smoothie and it’s really not that different from other smoothie places. you can’t really go wrong with an average flavor.

First time going here! I love how quick and easy this place is, ten times better than Jamba Juice! I like their free powder addition in each drink you purchase. Their flavors are unique and quite delicious. Can’t wait to come here again when I visit Santa Barbara!

Mmmmmm, that’s what I usually say after taking a sip of the blue pomegranate smoothie I always get. This is my first time at the Santa Barbara location. I thought that the young atmosphere of the Santa Barbara location pairs well with yummy smoothies to walk around with. It is priced a little high, but anytime I see a blenders, I can’t say no. I want to try other drinks but the blue pomegranate is SO Good! I do believe Blenders is a establishment that is at the top of list when thinking of smoothies that are healthy, tasty, and fresh. Again, I really enjoyed it! 5 out of 5 is well deserved. This location had friendly services from the local girls in the community. Thanks for taking the time to read my review :)

I’m going to try and write this review without getting emotional. Blenders has been my saviour on so many occasions I couldn’t count. This is the number one thing I miss about IV. The tropical mango smoothie– oh god, tears– is the greatest thing a hangover has ever seen. On the few occasions last summer when it was literally 5pm before I could move and I couldn’t imagine ever having a properly functioning digestive system for the rest of my life, Blenders was there to help. A two minute cycle away from the house(for my friends, obviously, I was going NOWHERE), and I had the greatest drink in the world. I cannot tell you how much of my wages I spent on Blenders over the summer. I miss you IV!

I LOVEBLENDERS. it’s ridiculous how often i go. I really do like almost all the fruity/tropical drinks, but what I get most is the Build A Blender with strawberries, banana, blueberries, guava juice, fro-yo, light pineapple sherbet, and light raspberry sherbet. MYFAVORITE.

This is by far my favorite place to go for smoothies! They’re always consistent and the workers are friendly. You’ll never see me in Santa Barbara without a blenders in my hand. My all time favorites are the tropical guava and blue pomegranate. I also love how they have free supplements for their drinks,(I like getting the immune boost). A majority of their drinks are $ 5 for a 24oz, the fancy drinks(like green tea etc.) are a tad bit more. Blenders over Jamba Juice any day!!!

I’ve lived in the area for four months, and decided to stop in the day after Thanksgiving when IV was basically empty. I enjoyed the smoothie, but the Acai Bowl was delightful: a perfect mixture of sherbert, granola, coconut, bananas, and fruit. Loved it.

Ah yes, the original Blenders in the grass. My favorite drink is The Peanut Butter! Non-fat milk, peanut butter, banana, ice milk(with carob chips), its thick, filling and yummy! Iff you’re l ooking for fruity, Guava all the way! Whatever variation of drink you get, you’re sure to be happy camper! Yeaaaaah, the prices have definately gone up over the years but what can you do? Get over it, it’s worth that smile ;) I love me some blenders… in the grass!

Always a line but WORTHTHEWAIT I’ve been here a handful of times, and there is ALWAYS a line. No sweat though; it goes by fast, and the smoothies are definitely worth it. I’m only in Santa Barbara once a year for a basketball tournament, but Blenders is FORSURE a stop I have to make. I think it’s better than Jamba(did I just say that?) Tropical Guava($ 5.00) I got this the very first time I went there, and I haven’t gotten anything since. I’m hooked. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This is my go-to drink. My one piece of advice to Blenders: GETBIGGERSIZES. I can drink this for DAYS!

Having lived in Santa Barbara for 4 years(for college), I learned a lot… well, mostly partied — but whatever, I learned some things here and there. One major lesson learned, was that other smoothie joints have NOTHING on Blenders. This stuff is so tasty, fresh, nutritious, and filling. Sometimes smoothies come out too icy, too watery, too blah. But your Blenders smoothies will NEVER turn out that way. Perfectly creamy and flavorful every time! I don’t come back often to visit SB anymore, but when I do — my hubby and I always make an effort to swing by.
