A stunning setting for a beautiful dinner! Coming from the UK is it rare to be able to have dinner amongst the palm trees over looking the sea, so it was a real treat for us. The house Pierrer’s is based in, is beautiful and the view from the balcony is amazing. The food was delicious, I would highly recommend the veal or lamb dishes. The services was great, they were very attentive and explained all the dishes in detail plus nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend heading downstairs after for a cocktail, lovely bar with good atomoshphere. Even when quite we had a great chat with the barman.

My filet was as good, perhaps better than, Prime 112 on Miami Beach. Add in the outstanding and perfectly-prepared side-dishes — with a beachfront view of the Gulf of Mexico — and I wd recommend this restaurant as the best dining experience I have ever had.

really did not appreciate that the server did not mention the prices of the specials and then he comes out with tiny portioned crab specials which cost $ 50 each(our fault as we should have asked prices first). upon paying the bill we did give 15% tip despite being very annoyed– and the server had the audacity to come back out and say that suggested tip was the 25% amount. recommending to all my friends to keep driving past this place. is it possible to give this place zero stars.

Would prefer to give no stars. These people do not like customers. In the afternoon they said first come first serve — in the evening looking forward to dinner on the beach we were refused because they were only for foursomes. The tables were neArly all empty but we had to go elsewhere. May all their customers be singles or doubles.

Pierres the sister restaurant to morada bay adds just a touch of how do I say je me sais quoi that leaves you breathtaken each and every time you come — enjoy a thin slice pizza that is to die for(ask extra crispy as sometimes they forget) grab a cocktail and sit back and enjoy life

We only had a drink. Price of the beach seating was included in the bar tab, but it was worth it. Excellent bar and ambience. A real touch of class in islamorada.

Awesome place to watch the sun go down with a lovely drink in your hand :) Or to wait out the traffic when the highway gets crammed like it is on this festival day. Lots of interesting drinks, colorful tables, can’t beat the view. I am enjoying a virgin mint mojito under the palm trees overlooking the intercostal waterway.

Ate dinner here 2x’s on our Keys vacation. It was wonderful both times. Wait staff is very professional and friendly! Amazing wines and favorite dinner was the seafood curry dish. The view from upstairs out onto the beach was just beautiful.

Closer to Excellent than very good. It can get very busy but this remains a top choice for a big boy nice dining meal. Very accommodating kitchen and the food is very fine dining with creative presentations. Not the cheapest place you will eat but the nicest and very worth it. The bar downstairs is an excellent hang with a porch and beach to watch the sun set. It’s always a meal here in the Keys worth having.

This is still one of the best restaurants in the Keys, and I’m not sure what conch crack some of y’all are smoking who are dinging this place. The food was amazing. The service upstairs equally so. The only reason it loses a star in my book is because the bar is horribly understaffed. One guy trying to tend bar, wait tables in the bar area, and the busy bar counter DURINGSEASAON? Quel dommage, Pierre! It makes you look Scottish, not French.

Top notch food and service. The tender sirloin was phenomenal and cooked medium. The mahi mahi was juicy and full of flavor. The The sauvignon blanc was a New Zealand base, with just the right amount of grassy and citrus taste. The veggies were cooked to perfection. The key lime pie they offered was just the right amount of tart. The new chef there has it going on! Can’t wait to eat here again for my wedding!

Came here for a birthday celebration– service(Luis) was top notch! Drink at the pre-dinner was stellar. Dinner was al fresco overlooking the ocean from a plantation style balcony. Scallop appetizer was incredible and the salad app had a unique fragrant dressing!(Vanilla jalapeño). Lamb chops were tasty and the seafood gumbo had coconut rice(and a coconut!) that was to die for. The bourbon vanilla cheesecake(and we’re not dessert people) was perfect! Not too sweet.

Went for dinner last night, when they had a full moon party. I was surprised that the only option was a 3 course meal at a set price, as this was not disclosed when we made the reservation. The food was good and the place is beautiful, but the service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress(Lina) is a nice girl, but she was more interested in her friends and the party downstairs than in serving us. She’d go for over 20 minutes without checking on us or bringing drinks or desert. When we complained she got very defensive — «hey, I only bring the food…» Our bill was $ 120/person, which I also found higher than it should have been(we had the set menu and 2 beers /cocktails each). They charge 18% min service regardless of number of people. Would not return.

It’s not so often you decide to up and just drive to the keys just to get out of town… But you want something a little extra special … In the keys? Naaah everything is so «5 o clock somewhere”/ Margaritaville jimmy buffet style … Or is it? … Hello Pierre’s… A most beautiful idyllic setting … Almost blink and miss it… Nestled on its own little beach front … Truly an aha moment when you walk into the joint… So a relaxed colorful beachside café on the left… Complete with idea Adirondack chairs almost too perfect… And on the right, majestic southern style house which is home to the most perfect little bar complete with plantation style porch seating … Lively DJ creates a great scene in the bar… And upstairs … The magic begins. Caribbean influenced, warm and cozy … So beautiful and breathtaking… A word of caution if you’re there for dinner just before sunset it’s really warm on the balcony… But if you can stand it just until the sun sets then you’ve got the best seat in the house… Otherwise indoors is equally magical. From the amazingly alert and inspired staff, so friendly and pleasant … And the food! Oh. The whole point of this review is to tell you how amazing the food is… But I got sidetracked! Grilled octopus just grilled to perfection… New York strip steak … Just perfect! Steak au poivre… Peppercorn sauce on point! Grilled lamb chops … Wow! So tender and juicy and the vegetables also worth highlighting … Perfect crunch and seasoning … Very pleasant wine list… Just great service, food, ambience … Overall a winner I just hope the rumors of them being sold or for sale are untrue… Such a shame it would be to lose such a gem.

Pierre’s is the perfect place for a romantic dinner. We sat upstairs on the terrace and were able to see the sunset which occurred around 8PM. The food was great as well. We had the cheese platter to start which was great. For our main course we had the New York strip which was cooked just right and it came with delicious mash potatoes. We also order a side of creamed spinach which we did not like at all(I’d pass on that). Lastly for dessert we had the key-lime pie which was amazing! The only reason I won’t give it five stars is because when we arrived the hostess could not find our reservation and instead of just seating us(which there was plenty of tables) she sat everyone else who was behind us before seating us. Besides that our server was great.

Great Atmosphere and Location, BETTER Food and Drinks! Love this place! For several years now, my family and I have dined at Pierre’s restaurant. You can’t beat the amazing sunset views but most of all the exquisite food. We went back this weekend for the half moon party. Once again Pierre’s did not disappoint. Top notch food and extensive wine list. To start off with our party of 7 dined on the grilled octopus, scallops and blue point oysters(best baked oysters I’ve ever had) all were very tasty. Our entrees consisted of the daily catch snapper, ribeye and my favorite dish of all the seafood curry. Every dish was cooked to perfection so full of flavor and had the MOST amazing presentation. We of course saved some room for some dessert. My favorites of the night were the mouth watering Crème Brûlée and the chocolate bomb was to die for. The highlight of our evening was having the pleasure of meeting the new Chef Ishmael we got to thank him personally for one of the best meals we have had at Pierre’s to date! Thanks Pierre’s for another amazing night… can’t wait to be back.

Went for full moon party and grabbed a bite to eat here first. The burger was so good. The catch of the day special was very good too. The bartender Dave was great. Overall great experience with very good food!

Fine dining in the Keys! We were recommended this restaurant and seeing as I wasn’t going to be celebrating New Years with the family due to my flying back to London on the actual Eve, we decided to have our celebration a day early. Set in what looks like a beautiful plantation style house and decorated in South Asian art inside, the restaurant is upstairs with a very nice looking bar downstairs. Clothing is fairly casual being the keys, but they do like you to wear long pants and not shorts. My lobster chowder was heavenly, nicely spiced with a thick lobster flavour that shone through the creaminess of the soup, ribeye that followed was similarly well executed, being a wonderful medium rare. No room for dessert and unfortunately unable to try the wine(designated driver for the night and my personal rule is not a drop when driving). It just gives me a reason to go back though. The location, ambiance and food makes it a keeper for the next time I’m in the Keys.

Went to Pierre’s for their Valentine’s Day prix fixe and had an amazing time! We thought the atmosphere was beautiful and both had great food! The tuna tataki was perfectly seared and the rose wine pairing was excellent. The next course was salad which was mediocre and flavorless, I should have got the crab vichyssoise which was delightful! The main lobster with the coconut sauce was worth the whole meal, it was phenomenal and the filet mignon was cooked perfectly! The key lime tart was definitely better than the chocolate temptation cake! Overall the experience was fantastic and the food did not disappoint! Slightly over priced, $ 467 for two with wine pairings. If you are looking for a romantic way to end your vacation, Pierre’s is definitely it! Pros: beautiful location, charming romantic atmosphere, great service, spectacular food Cons: slightly overpriced, paying for the experience and location
