By far, the best brunch buffet in town!!! I’ve stayed at the postcard twice and it’s definitely a great spot to dine

Hamburger was the best ever, and I’m not a usually a big hamburger fan. However, the noise level was so loud I actually became nauseous. I suggest you wear earplugs if you want to enjoy your food. I have never been in a restaurant of this quality that was SO loud. Save your money unless you are deaf.

To go order Chicken Caesar without chicken Buffalo salad didn’t have blue cheese dressing (No dressing) Kids Pasta came with butter as the sauce They apologized. We had to walk back and get our food fixed. No discount or anything. Thought about eating there for breakfast but no way! So disappointing People were nice. Drinks were good. Food service terrible.

This place was a huge disappointment. I’ve eaten at several Shula’s restaurants but I’m not sure what’s going on with management at this one. First off, I wanted a mojito and I didn’t have my physical ID on me because I left it in my purse at home so I showed my server a photo of my passport. She couldn’t accept that because she said it «could be fake.» I’ve done this at several places since I have this curse of forgetting my ID and it has been acceptable. I just thought it was kind of insulting that she thought I would show her a picture of a fake passport with my face on it. Now to my review on the food… The ahi tuna was not fresh. It was so fishy tasting it was nasty. When tuna is fresh it isn’t supposed to have a fishy taste and when you’re in a place like Islamorada you eat things like this expecting them to be fresh *eye roll*. The Burger which is what this place is known for was cold and rare not medium well like I asked it to be… the French fries were cold and raw too. My dad ordered a grilled mahi mahi… again not fresh and it was so dry he could choke on it. Maybe the chef fell asleep while it was on the grill? I’ll never go back. If I’m looking for a good burger in the keys, I know where NOT to go.

PREFACE: My boyfriend was against this from the start, however having limited dinner options and seeking something a bit more elevated than conch fritters at the neighboring Jaws Raw Bar, he relented. NOTOUCHTOWNS For Shulas. Where do I begin? Well for starters, we ordered a bottle of wine and sat(no waters, etc) waiting for it for approximately 12 minutes… once it arrived? Wrong wine. It was corrected, and than sat out of reach of the server and he never touched the bottle again throughout the entire dinner, like some backup quarter back scared of the ball. Next, we ordered the Ahi Tuna which couldn’t come as a recommendation because our server«had never tried it and doesn’t eat seafood». Perfect. We took it. It came to the table missing both sauces, overcooked and with no sharing plates. After waiting 10 min, I got up and had to go inside to ask for plates, the sauce, and finally, waters. Quaterback fumble. Next play? Entrees. Oh boy, a bit disappointed that a restaurant in the Keys, on the water, has only ONE seafood entrée: Mahi Mahi at market price. We took it. Now it’s halftime, the wine is almost gone, and we have been waiting close to 30 minutes for the food and we are starting to already regret our choices. The fish comes and I can’t help but noting the oversized PLASTIC ramekin of sauce«mushed» into my mash potatoes. Oh I see, this is my «sauce» that I am SOPPOSED to pour over the fish? The fish was definitely frozen, however the only thing edible after being drowned in the sauce. The asparagus was raw and it was so dark at the table I couldnt even get a look at the mash potatoes, but I opted to leave them alone. We could have expressed our concerns to our server but he never came back to the table.(He must have been on the bench). It gets worse after the second half… I ask to talk to a manager. After waiting 10 min for the manager, she comes out and heads to the wrong table. Once I flag her down, I explain the situation in the nicest way possible(I too, work in hospitality). She immediately blames«corporate» and complains that she is a victim of corporate rules and regulations. What? In what franchise handbook does it say to undercook asaparagus and be complete idiots? Flag on the play. She offers dessert; we refuse and ask for the check. She drops it back off herself and whispers«I went ahead and gave you an employee discount». Wow. We oblige and even leave 10% gratuity for the poor bastard considering his shit training. The kicker? Upon picking back up the check, she bends down and says, «as you can see we are dealing with a certain kind of clientele tonight», referring to the rambunctious college students next to us. I respond, «what does that have to do with me?» Oblivious, she walks away. Final Score: Shulas 0, US -$ 100.00. No rings for you. Should have listened to the boyfriend.

Shula’s 2 in Islamorada was fabulous. My family and I stopped in for late dinner. Each of us ordered a different specialty burger: house of blue, wine country, and french onion. ALLWERE outstanding and cooked to a medium rare perfection. The different cuts of beef used to make up the burger really pulled it together. Onion rings were very crisp. Coleslaw light and crisp. Mashed potatoes very creamy. The service was very attentive too. Loved it.

Let’s say Don doesn’t know Sh&@ about steak and someone needs to better manage this restaurant… No bread, bad service(our poor waiter did the best he could do ALONE) raw asparagus. If you have the desire to see a silver football trophy — Go for a hamburger and stay away from the $ 37 steak.

Ok I thought I would give it a chance since I like the Orlando and Tampa locations. I ordered the quesadilla because how hard is it to make that… it was GROSS covered in grease. No thank you.

Great place to eat when you’re right on the resort. Pricey though… 12oz New York strip $ 35 with two sides. Pineapple juice $ 4. I wouldn’t come here if I weren’t on the resort. It’s just a steakhouse. Since I was with my nine year old, I was paying more for the convenience. Staff was nice and luckily the place was kinda empty. I have another night at the resort and I will probably not return.

We were super thankful Shula was having a Thanksgiving dinner — especially since our original plans fell though and we almost didn’t get any Turkey on Turkey day! Thank you Shaq, our server, and all the other staff for taking time away from their families so I could enjoy the day with mine. I took a star because: No pumpkin pie?! That’s instanity! Who doesn’t serve pumpkin, pecan and apple pie on Thanksgiving? Good thing we were able to get one at the grocery store!

If I could give it a 0 I would! Super disappointed. Waited all day to eat after driving all day & finally reach our destination to have one of the worst meals I couldn’t even eat. And I was starving !!! I had the chicken which wasn’t even chicken. It was a rubbery piece of gross !!! The loaded baked potato wasn’t much better. Cold & unflavored. I’m not one to write a bad review & not very picky especially when I’m starved. Just wanted a good meal that was enjoyable. Way overpriced for such awful food! On a better note the service was good! Don’t waste you money!

10⁄24 — Review is for Take-Out. Came into the restaurant, went straight to the bar to put an order for take out. The restaurant is located at The Postacard Inn. It is probably the most boring looking Shula’s I’ve ever seen inside. They have a nice outside seating area. Also, the inside bar opens up to the outside. There are a few small Tv’s inside and outside. The bartender that took care of us was awesome. He even told us about a little bar not far to watch football and have a few beers. We ordered the Thai Chicken Salad and the sweet potato tator tots. Both delicious! I’m glad we did take out because there is no way I would sit for more than 10 minutes in that restaurant. No ambience at all.

I came here with a group of friends, we had great service from Johnny and we all enjoyed our food as well… from steaks and burgers to spinach and artichoke dip and salads. Very convenient for anyone staying at postcard.

Something is wrong here. I was looking forward to eating here but I was sorely disappointed and will not go back. I found the food quality to be really bad and the prices are way too high. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled steak(medium rare) and it was the most flavorless piece of meat I’ve ever tasted. The steak looked blanched so I guess it must have been exposed to the Florida heat or maybe damaged in route to the restaurant… I seriously thought it was road kill. So I told them to get rid of that steak and ordered a Caesar with chicken instead, which was only slightly better. And their Caesar salad dressing tasted as if it came straight out of a 55 gallon drum — no effort is being applied to ensure food quality. Nothing is hand made in here. It all looks as if it is designed for hungry idiots who are too stupid to venture off the beaten path to find good food. This place is not a restaurant; its a trough! Don’t waste your time or money in here!

Wish my phone wouldn’t have died so I could’ve taken pictures ! To begin with my hostess was extremely nice and greeted me promptly, she asked where I wanted to be seated and took me(outside) which is what I asked. My server never showed up, but kindly enough Johnny saw us unattended after 10 minutes and offered to serve us. I had spinach and artichoke which I wasn’t a big fan of simply because it had more cheese than spinach and artichoke. I was set on my water but my server strongly recommended a drink and he convinced me, being in the keys on a hot day I decided on the classic piña colada and it was GREAT ! Comes in a pretty big cup for only $ 9 ! Then comes the burger, I got the bbq burger. It was okay but definitely forgettable… Nothing out of this world at all… Conclusion was that my service was okay and my food was ok… I would recommend this place because nothing exactly went wrong but it didn’t wow me. I kinda wish I would’ve gone to the tiki bar… At least I would’ve had a better view than the parking lot :( Oh. But on the plus side. I got to sit next to the cutest and kindest old couple. Prices are okay too… I believe the spinach dip was $ 8 as they burgers around $ 12-$ 14 … Wait… Almost forgot props to the food runner. She literally gave me everything I needed… I hate bothering the food runners. She brought me and my boyfriend waters and bbq sauce :) THANKS Also my food came out very fast! This place is good but not something you randomly get cravings of !

My wife and I came here for breakfast. We were the first ones in the restaurant this morning. We were promptly greeted by the manager who brought us to our table, offered coffee and gave us our menus. Our server then came by, brought our coffees and took our order. The process was quick and efficient, which is great when you’re hungry! I had the Smoked Salmon Sandwich and my wife had the Classic Eggs Benedict. My sandwich was delicious and looked very appetizing when it arrived. A lot of smoked salmon for the price. The eggs Benedict was below average though. It looked and tasted like something you’d get at a much cheaper place. Overall, the service was very good. Everything flowed well, and they checked in with us at the right times when we needed water/more coffee. The manager was very friendly, and made some conversation while we waited for breakfast. I did feel a bit rushed when the bill was dropped off before I finished my breakfast though, especially considering there was no one else in the restaurant. Atmosphere is a slightly upscale sports bar. TVs all over the place. Some nicer furniture mixed with a strange colour scheme and sports photos on the walls. Kind of hard to see what they’re going for here, but it’s comfortable. Overall, pretty decent!

Shula’s is just like a regular sports bar… but in the keys? Ummmm it’s just different. It wasn’t disappointing just ok. I think maybe next time I go there I am going to stick to fish sandwiches and conch fritters. You go for the seafood not the chicken wings LOL

We were skeptical at first, especially after reading these reviews… I guess you just have to know what to order. Here’s what we had: Chicken Quesadillas — perfectly crispy, melted cheese with chicken and small pieces of green peppers and onions. BBQ Shula Burger — DELICIOUS! Applewood bacon, BBQ sauce and the most delicious patty ever!!! Our waiter Melvin was very attentive. He recommended adding Swiss cheese to the BBQ Shula burger next time. My husband said he doesn’t know how you can make the burger any better. It’s prefect! Can’t wait to come back and try it! The other Unilocalers got it wrong. You won’t regret it!
