A lot has changed since my last reviews in 2012! Always great and the menu additions are great! LOVE THE WINGS!

I happen to be one who appreciates the finer things in life. Such things as a cheesesteak so fulfilling that finishing it will put me into an immediate food induced slumber. Ribeye Bros never fails to satisfy, always delivering on my urge for sliced steak, cheese whiz and a warm, welcoming bun. I’ve had steaks from here to Philly and I can honestly say this place delivers on Philly quality. The Cajun fries are also a great addition to your meal.

The food is okay. When I called them after an hour and a half of waiting for my food the person who answered the phone was very unhelpful and gave off the vibe that I was bothering him by calling. The first time we spoke he hung up on me and then I had to call back and got hung up on again… Finally I called for a third time and demanded that I speak to someone who knew where my delivery was. The kid who answered the phone asked for my address and said the delivery man left the store a couple minutes ago. I assume he was lying because it took an extra 20 minutes after that and it doesn’t take 20 minutes even with traffic to make it to my place of habitation. The food was cold and not prepared in a well prepped fashion. I would give them half a star but I don’t think that’s possible. I am new to Unilocal,to be honest I only downloaded the app to notify others how terribly disappointed I was with Ribeye Bros. The service is horrible and they dont put the required effort they should be putting in to be making a vigorous sandwich like I should expect from a restaurant that has been in business for atleast 5 years.

I went to Philadelphia this summer with the SO and we more or less gouged ourselves on cheesesteaks while we were there. Since we left, we’d been craving more. Let’s just say that this place saved us about 3.5 hours on the road!
We both got exactly what we got in Philly: ribeye with onions and whiz and it was EXCELLENT. This place made a great sandwich and the prices were very reasonable. We look forward to coming back for more and trying different things.

I wish I could give a better review, but I ordered a half ribeye with pepper jack and mushrooms. And they forgot the mushrooms. Really?! The one premium toppings they forget?! Not impressed.

This place scratches the itch for a good cheesesteak. Stopped in after a friend told me try it. What more is there to say after reading the other reviews. Got mine on a garlic bread hero. It was divine. I’ll be back.

Food is fantastic. Little shop not somewhere to sit and eat. Their r benches outside. They deliever. Great comfort food.

Came here for a quick bite to eat, the cheese steaks are huge and really delicious. Just wish they put more cheese on mine :(my boyfriend got the plain one with peppers and onions and he said it was good and tasted like it was straight outta Philly. I got the reggae brother or whatever it’s called with the jerk sauce. I didn’t like the sauce but the steak was really delicious. My auntie lives a few blocks away so I will most likely be returning!

This place is small and almost hidden on Austin Blvd in island park but it should be a much larger place churning out cheese steak after cheese steak. Very clean place with very friendly and patient service being it was my first time and I had no idea what to order. I made my own cheese steak though I could have easily settled on any of the suggested ones. I devoured it in my car before even driving off and let me tell you this cheese steak was huge so I was parked for quite a bit. Onion rings were cooked perfectly and I got a side of jerk sauce that I could have ordered as a large drink and sipped on it for every bite it was so good. I plan on returning asap for another cheese steak and some tacos I feel I need to try.

I needed my fix… I added their fries and onion rings to my usual. Both were great. I wish I could say I enjoyed the fries but I got to eat about 4 fries and then my kids inhaled them. I absolutely loved the onion rings though.

Ordered thru grub hub. Smooth and pleasant. Good sandwich also, garlic fries are a must

My girlfriend and I ordered take-​away from Ribeye Bros this Saturday night.
We’d ordered two 5″ sandwiches, an order of onion rings, an order of Cajun fries, and 6 wings.
We were blown away, the food was exactly what we were hoping it would be. The onion rings were perfect, and the fries were really well spiced and crispy. The sandwiches were made well too, and full of flavor. The only thing that we felt was lacking were the wings, but that was probably because it took us a long time to drive back home.
In our opinion, this place is a hidden gem, and a must-​try if you live in Long Beach. I think we just found ourselves a replacement for Five-​Guys.

I appreciate a good cheese steak, my family is from the Philly area. This is the closest thing I’ll get in NY and it’s damn near close! :)
I usually get a classic cheesesteak — beef, provolone mushrooms and onions. Delicious ($ 8.95)
I’ve tried their chicken but it’s chunks rather than the shredded (which is what you would get in philly). Not my cup of tea but still good.
Skip the sweet potato fries and go for the regular, much better.
They also serve ice cream inside.
No place to really eat inside, there are picnic tables outside if the weather is nice. I usually order to go.

I so baldly wanted this place to be great but I just can’t say that it is. I’ve now had steaks here on three different occasions and they have been consistently average. Better than steak ums, I’ve give them that, but this doesn’t not come close to real deal steaks from Philly.
I’ve tried traditional whiz wit — which is the best of those I’ve tried. The bread lacked flavor and as mentioned in other reviews was very soggy. The meat was overcooked and even a little chewy and there wasn’t enough of it. The proportion of wiz and onions was good. Biggest complaint — BONES! The were two bones in my steak today and one in my wife’s — inexcusable.
My son had the BBQ brother which was pretty good combo. The bacon and BBQ sauce was good but I have the same complaint as above too skimpy on the meat and a little chewy. This roll was even more soggy. Presumably due to swimming in BBQ sauce.
I also tried a steak with provolone, mushrooms and mayo. This was the worst of the bunch — the proof that they don’t serve enough meat is the cheese wasn’t even half melted. Cold cheese and 3 or 4 mushrooms on my 10 inch steak — chintzy to say the least.
Boardwalk fries were the hit on this day. Hot crispy and well seasoned.
The garlic fries were good but were a little less crispy than I would like good fries to be and we’re soggy towards the bottom due to a little too much oil.
Overall today was the third strike — sorry guys.

I often order from Ribeye because it keeps everyone happy. I’ve never actually eaten AT the restaurant, only enjoyed the convenience of ordering online and prompt delivery. The cheesesteaks are excellent– and I’m from PA and had a lot of authentic Philly cheesesteaks… my kids love the grilled cheese and chicken fingers… I love the cheese fries (weekends I eat whatever I want… I work out all week so I figure I deserve it ;-) The fries (I have to look up the name and I will update) with the black pepper are so spicy I literally could not eat them — the boardwalk fries are good though. Just keep in mind this definitely is NOT health food in any way– it’s greasy spoon, hangover food…

The food here were amazing! We love it! We stopped by this place for lunch when we were around the area. The place is small & clean.
We got the cajun brother with grilled chicken ($ 8.95), the ribeye brother ($ 8.95), a cheese fries ($ 3.95), a bottle of water ($ 1.50), & a bottle of unsweetened ice tea ($ 2.50). The food came out a bit slow but it wasn’t all that long either. The place wasn’t busy when we were there.
The portion is pretty good for the price. The sandwiches were pretty filling. They were pretty big. We love both of the sandwiches that we ordered. They were delicious, packed full of flavor. The portion of the cheese fries were also pretty big. One order of cheese fries were good enough for us to share as sides.
The service was pretty good. The guy who took our order were very polite.
This place is definitely worth stopping by if you happen to around the area.

Cheesesteaks were amazing and garlic fries unparalleled! The service was quick and prices were great! A must for a cheesesteak on Long Island! Keep it up!

Was in here a few weeks ago after passing by on the way to a softball game. I ordered a cheesesteak with whiz and onions. The sandwich was good except that the bread tasted a bit stale. I’m not sure if it’s the bread they use or if the bread just wasn’t fresh. I’ve seen others post reviews with this same comment, so obviously I am not the only one with this problem. I also ordered the garlic fries. While they were crispy, they just didn’t have enough garlic taste for my liking. While I would like to give this place 3.5 stars, Unilocal does not offer the half star option and I don’t think they were good enough to earn that extra star. I will be back because it is one of the better places for a cheesesteak on Long Island, but hopefully they change their bread to make the sandwiches better.
Also, I don’t think it’s fair to rate this place in comparison to cheesesteaks from Philadelphia. That would be like comparing a pizza place in Kansas to New York pizza.
