Storage Post Islandia

Helped a friend move her stuff out due to mice droppings. The only reason I’m still rating this high is because of the manager Joe and his detail oriented, customer focused approach. He was extraordinarily helpful to my friend and her inquiries.

I needed a storage unit to facilitate an upcoming move. Joe and Mike were knowledgeable, helpful and very professional. In fact I needed more space and went back yesterday figuring I would rent a bigger unit, and maybe have issues. But the whole transaction went equally and smoothly as the first. Nice to know the storage part at least was stress free, let’s hope the rest of the move goes as well.

GO WITH YOUR FIRST INSTINCT, which I didn’t! While shopping around for a place to store my belongings I came across this location which was in close proximity (therefore making it possible for me to easily access it around my schedule). Since I was needing to pack up because I was losing my apartment I wasn’t fully realizing the trouble that was about to befall me!
The name of the game is to sell units & I understand that. However, the name of the game is also CUSTOMER SERVICE which the associate I dealt with does not seem to realize! I was misled in order for him to seal the deal – I was given one rate, then when I signed the lease was told the prices had gone up. OK, I’ll give them that, but the associate also told me I would get 30 days free insurance so I signed the lease.
I have not been there long & my price has gone up again. When I called to inquire I spoke with the same associate who swears he «never said that», but he CLEARLY did not want to be speaking on the phone! He was rude, condescending & constantly cut me off not allowing me to speak before finally saying, «OK, you know what – I’ll just cancel the insurance». I will be watching my account, notifying Customer Service & then «you know what – I’ll take my business elsewhere»!
