SoHo Urban Wax

I first heard about Soho through a friend a few years ago. I was considering waxing but had never done it before. Well, she did not hesitate to recommend (she actually raved about it) this place to me. I have been going on and off for a few years and have never been disappointed. I have sensitive skin but never break out afterwards. Chee Chee always jokes around and makes me feel at ease. I feel like she’s part therapist some of the time ;) Where else can you go and there is wine in the waiting room for some of us who are not so brave :) all in all, great place, great service, great people. Would highly recommend it.

Chee Chee is amazing!!! I went to her for over a year. If I didn’t move away, I would still be seeing her faithfully. Very professional and a down to earth person. I recommend her to anyone in the area. Best wax around, clean and painless. She spoiled me so much that I still haven’t found anyone to do the job as good as she did!!!

I have been coming to SoHo for about 4 years off and on, I haven’t been in a while only because we have recently moved to Queens. Chee Chee is the best, hands down. I have always been able to get an appointment when needed, if she is planning on closing on a certain date, she makes sure that she sends out an email or a facebook update in advance, and then makes herself available late night right before she will be closed. The salon is modern and clean, and the wax is painless. This salon is the place to go! I only wish I could find a salon like this in Queens!

Soho Urban wax is soo comfortable and professional, Chee Chee the owner takes care of each and every client who walks through the door. The girls at the desk are always very nice. Anyone I speak to about Chee Chee agrees she is the best!! I would highly recommend going to Soho Urban wax to anyone and everyone.

I usually like to hold on to my 5stars but as I try to think of a reason why this place wouldn’t be 5 star worthy. I come up with nothing!
It’s small and intimate, the owner is the only one that does the waxing and the desk girls are always so kind.
I have been there twice and I’m due soon for my 3^rd visit. It’s always SO clean, smells good and I have never had trouble getting an appointment. They have a cozy waiting area with wine and the rooms are dimmed to make the ambiance comfortable.
Let’s face it! We all don’t want to admit we have hair we hate in certain areas, that’s why we wax. And yes it can be painful (the more I wax the less it hurts. she’ll explain all that good stuff once you’re there) but I do admit she makes it as comfortable as possible! She’s a jokester and I love that. Who else can make you laugh while telling you to spread wide? CHEE CHEE.
This place is honestly great!
For those who complained about the hours not fitting your schedule, it’s an establishment! Welcome to the world where not everything has to cater to your every need. However this place does work with your schedule. And I have never been burned.

Best Brazilian coast to coast. Even better than Vegas land of Brazilans. Chee Chee keeps it close to painless and she is hilarious, and wise.

This is the best wax establishment I have found. I have been coming here for over 2 years and refuse to go anywhere else. The salon is owner operated. I highly recommend if you need to just get your brows done or need to go bare… anywhere :-)

My introduction to this great find was through a gift Groupon from my boyfriend who is mildly obsessed with hair removal. As an African –American woman with ingrown hair issues, I’ve never been a fan of Brazilian Wax. The owner Che Che assured me that she was going to change my outlook on Brazilians. Boy, was she right! She was skillful and quick. The place is clean, great products (try the loofah soap). I would highly recommend this place to everyone!!!

I went to SoHo Urban Wax after moving here from the city. Seriously, the BEST and most PAINLESS wax I have ever had. My waxer, Chee Chee was great. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time and really knew her stuff.
