Just got done with my eyebrow/lip wax… they were so kind to take me right before the store closed and Melinda did an amazing job making sure my eyebrows were just how I liked them! Will definitely be back :)

The shape of the eyebrows was fine but not surprisingly took way too much of my eyebrow off. …so much so that she literally tore off a patch of skin the size of a pea. She asked me if I use acne treatment on my face and that is why my skin tore off. She didn’t say anything when I told her I don’t use acne treatment. She didn’t even offer me a discount for ripping off my skin, which has left a bright pink scar right below my eyebrow. Unreal.

Long time Benefit Brow bar fan. Have visited 3 locations including this one. So glad they finally made their way to the Highlands. Was able to book an appointment the day before. Arrived 15 minutes early and was still seated right away. The lady who worked on my brows was insanely sweet and attentive to my brow needs and walked me through what she was going to wax and tweeze. Work station and tools were clean. Would highly recommend.

Called on Wednesday to see if I needed an appointment or if they take walk ins. I was informed no one was in until Friday :( Trekked over to Bellevue Square instead.

I was a regular at the Benefit Brow bar at the Ulta in Redmond. Since I live in Issaquah, this location is much more convenient. However, I will continue to go to Redmond because I found the girl here to be very unprofessional, judgmental and rude. She made me feel very uncomfortable about my eyebrows(which are naturally thin). And she asked a lot of rude questions. I asked her to not put make-up on after cuz I have sensitive skin, so she said she would use another kind that would actually help with the redness… nope, it’s even worse than normal 12 hours later. Also, she missed a lot of hairs that I had to tweeze this morning. So basically I paid her $ 20 to be rude to me and cause my face to break out. Lastly, the Redmond location is very easy to get a walk-in appt, which is why I prefer the Benefit Bar. Here, I showed up at 530 on a Wednesday after work, when their hours are until 6 and she had left early. Very unprofessional.

I had a waxing appointment here a couple of days ago, and Diana did a great job. She framed and outlined my eyebrows(literally) so I knew exactly what the shape would look like when she was done. I’ve never had this done for any eyebrow waxes before, so it was pretty cool. Plus, you don’t have to think twice about whether what you have in your mind in terms of arch or fullness is the same as your beautician! Diana was very diligent, and I’m pretty happy with the results! I find that the hours are pretty convenient, and since this is located inside Ulta, which is part of the new Grand Ridge Plaza shopping area, it’s not really hard to find parking. The brow bar isn’t separated from the rest of the store, so there may be customers cruising around the area looking through makeup while your appointment is going on!!! Some other tips: They have a purse hook at the counter where you sit!!! If you’re not that tall, or your legs aren’t that long, sitting in the chair may get a little tiring. The chair is like a tall bar padded bar stool, which was pretty comfy except for the fact that my feet couldn’t reach the foot rest, so my feet were pretty much dangling the whole time. Apparently after the waxing is over, they do a complimentary light makeup application, which I was pretty surprised out. I opted out of it because I have really sensitive skin when it comes to beauty products and sunblock, but I’m sure this would be a really nice treat for most people. :)
