This place is great! I’ve tried it twice, once for delivery and the other dine in. The food has been delicious both times. I especially love the hand shaven noodles. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other dishes.

Very sketchy and poor quality Chinese food. Make sure you confirm what you’re getting when you order. It’s easy to find Chinese food but hard to find a good place. This isn’t one.

We went for lunch and everybody liked their entrees. Gluten free? No problem. Vegetarian? No problem. Speedy service which is great if you are on a short lunch break. Easy parking, easy place to stop off Interstate 5. We walked over to QFC afterward to have coffee and go for a walk.

I would give a 5 star for it’s genuine Chinese Sichuan dishes, but 2 star for it’s services. There were just 2 tables to serve, still it took ~40 minutes for our food to show up. In a Chinese restaurant, we had to ask for chopsticks.

Never used Groupon with this restaurant. This restaurant will skip«groupon deal» and will ask you to order on spot and bypass Groupon in the future. Today there was a deal on Groupon. I ordered 2 dishes and when I arrived, the waiter told me he never saw my order came through online. I told him I paid for it already for«TOGO» and he said they only do dine in with 10% discount and don’t do take out. While I was trying to look at my phone to figure out what is going on, the waiter keep asking me to do a «TOGO» now and don’t bother with the Groupon order. Future orders can just call them up and don’t need to go through Groupon. I believed this restaurant is taking too much of a $ hit from Groupon, yet they wanted to be in the Groupon Site for awareness. When I called up Groupon later on they told me the restaurant cannot honor the deal. So I am not sure who is at fault. Groupon or the restaurant. Today was so much hassle that I don’t think I will even bother to visit them again in future. Bait and Switch?

It was our first visit and we loved the place overall. There wasn’t any parking hassle. The service was prompt and polite. We’ve ordered egg drop soup, chicken chowmein, shrimp wontons & spicy schezwan chicken. The food is worth the price. Would definitely recommend this place.

We been there 2 times. Pros: — Great testing food. MSG free, reduced soy sauce, gluten free options available on request. –Big portion size — Clean & big seating area — Friendly service — Available parking Cons: — Didn’t find any.

I was expecting more traditional Sichuan food going into the restaurant, but the menu was far from it. There were a lack of choices in terms of Sichuan style food and there were a lot of menu items that you can find in Americanized Chinese restaurants. I ordered the Sichuan beef noodle soup and was not impressed. The soup lacked flavor and comprised of more vegetables than actual beef. My friend got the Hong Kong crispy noodles and that also left a lot to desire. Again the issue was the lack of flavor. Dishes are over priced as well compared to the other Chinese restaurants in the area. There are plenty of Chinese/Sichuan type restaurants in Issaquah and this restaurant was subpar compared to them.

We were pleasantly surprised with our take-out order. I have dined at their Bellevue location for lunch many times. Always consistent food, tables can get very busy during the lunch time. Tonight we had their almond chicken, vegetable fried rice, hand shaved noodles and garlic green beans. When I called in my order they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived my food was ready. When I arrived home everything was very hot! Everything tasted great! My husband was very please with the almond chicken; it came with the sauce/gravy on the side. Green beans were delicious. We will be back soon!

This is my go to place for hot and sour soup. Hot and sour soup is my favorite dish in the world and this place has the best. I started going here when it was Cascade Garden and the new business is just as good. I felt they deserved a higher rating so I made a Unilocal just to rate them five stars.

This restaurant has been consistently good the few times that I’ve been here. The restaurant is located right next to the QFC on Gilman and super convenient to get to(and to park at). While no hot and sour soup compares to Toy’s in Bellevue, this place is some of the better soup that I’ve had in the area. The pieces of tofu are big and so are the bamboo shoots. My other favorites are the szchuan cold noodles, chicken with vegetables and orange chicken. The moo shu pork is good, too. It is pretty standardly priced for the area. Definitely a good spot if you’re in the mood for Chinese in Issaquah.

We’ve visited the Bellevue location many times and were excited to come across the Issaquah location, especially since it delivers to our home in the Issaquah Highlands. We’ve only had delivery so far and the food has been consistently good and on par with the food from the Bellevue location, the delivery however is inconsistent with sometimes a very long wait.

If I could do zero stars I would. Twice I have ordered delivery through Eat24, and twice they never showed up or called. Took over a week for a refund, plus I waited instead of getting something else for dinner. Terrible!

I ordered delivery from here last night at 6pm through Eat24. I called at 6:25 to make sure they received it. They said they had and it would arrive in 15 – 20 minutes. I called again at 6:54 and he said the driver was out and it should there soon. I called again at 7:25 and he called the driver on the other line and said there was traffic and the driver had other stops and said it would be about and hour and a half! I was frustrated and he said he would get it there within 30 minutes. My food arrived at 8:10pm. By the way the General Tso’s chicken was not breaded and the rest was terrible.

While at a conference for my company I decided to partake in this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken fried rice, the lettuce wraps and fried chicken with greens beans on top. All the food was amazing and the flavors really jumped out whenever you took a bite. The only negatives may have been that the hot and spicy sauce at the table was a little bitter and the meal was a bit expensive. Overall, the servers were really friendly and I will definitely be coming back to visit again some day.

Excellent pig ear. The boiled beef with bamboo shoots is great, but my wife thinks a little too much chili oil and szechuan peppercorn. They said the Unilocal deal can’t be used to pay for the sales tax, so make sure the food total is over $ 25.

Although this restaurant has a classic bad Americanized Chinese sounding vibe, its taste is very authentic for anywhere near Issaquah. They have a bar playing football games and a decent local wine menu, but a bad non alcoholic beverage selection. My family had the boiled fish in the spicy Szechuan broth(shui zhu yu), this was pretty authentic according to my mom who grew up in the Sichuan province. The noodles were not the best but we’re flavorful, though not authentic. Lastly we had black bean sauce fried beef and green bean. I hoped the green beans would have that crunch, which they did, but these beans were a little too green-be any, not as much flavor as I would have liked. The beef in the dish was very good. Overall 4.5 but I’d round to a 5 to be nice.

I’ve lived in Issaquah now for 8 years, and frequented this restaurant several times a month when it was owned by Andy as Cascade Gardens. The food was solid with good service. Sadly, they never offered delivery service, which I always thought was a huge error on their part, in missed opportunity. But the food and service kept me as a loyal customer nonetheless. Ownership changed hands and things went downhill quickly. Then, it’s reborn as another location of Szechuan Chef. I ordered delivery and the food came quickly, it was quite tasty, and all was good with the world. Tonight, a Friday night, I called at 7:30 for delivery. The man who answered the phone said to me, very curtly, «no delivery, we’re too busy. Maybe in two hours.» I hung up. Disgusted. Their website clearly states that delivery is available, and there was nothing mentioned about«unless we are too busy to deal with that». Huge, HUGE fail on their part. I just don’t get it. You either deliver, or you don’t. Once again, they have lost my business. And aside from posting here to warn away other Unilocalers, you can rest assured I’ll never give this place another dollar of my business, and will bad mouth them to anyone who asks. Vote with your dollars, folks… and maybe, just maybe, the business owners will someday get a clue.

Im from California and i recalled last time coming to Seattle, i had some really good authentic dimsum and i really wanted to come back and enjoy it but unfortunately the previous dimsum restaurant is not here anymore and had opened up this place and decided to gave this new Szechuan restaurant a try.(Also because i was staying around the area and this place was walking distance from me and i didnt have any means of public transportation) However I must say i had enjoy their food. I love spicy food so decided to taste their spicy szechuan crab and my goodness they were mouth numbing, tongue tingling, finger licking good! I also got their awesome looking sliced boiled pork with garlic sauce. And although i usually dont like my pork boiled, it was really delicious and refreshing when accompanied by the cucumber. The ambience of this place was comforting and looked really refined and new. I cannot say much about this place looking dirty it whatnot because it didnt! It looked very clean and the workers were on top of their job. The waiter who took my order was very nice and had patience with me for i took forever ordering. I will be coming back to make it appoint to try other types of dishes whenever i am in seattle. Hooray for this place.

i went there with my wife at about 1pm. the place had renovation from the old one. it’s better and it look bigger. New couch was reinstalled. more comfortable than the other one in Bellevue, and the place is quieter than bellevue store. we ordered a fish dish, it’s called sliced fish with hot spicy gravy, it’s the same name with Bellevue store, but it’s a different dish. It’s less hot, but really good. the fish is better. we also ordered a kidney dish. yes. kidney. it’s in a spicy sauce. feel so fresh. appetizer, we got the mixed beef in hot sauce and house special pancake. those two are as good as the one in bellevue . the bill comes up about 45USD. we both think it worth . They even give me a coupon for the 20USD discount in next visit.(since i am regular in Bellevue store) WEWILLBEBACK
