My husband and I are suckers for a good breakfast joint. We don’t come to Issaquah often so we asked our local mechanic for a recommendation and this is where we ended up! Service was great, food came out fast, and I really enjoyed my Potato Burrito! They have some sort of avocado cream sauce that they pour over the top of a burrito that has eggs, potatoes, sausage, tomatoes and green onions. A perfect combo if you ask me! I just wish that the portions for this dish were a little bit bigger. I felt underwhelmed when my food came out and my husband got his chicken fried steak which came with eggs and toast and hash browns and took up two whole plates! I like homey feeling places Iike this though and the food was good enough to come back next time we are in town.

Cute local spot to grab a hearty meal. It’s definitely a «Northwest feel». We sat at the bar so we wouldn’t have to wait for a table. Worked out great as we just came back from a hike and we were pretty hungry. We order some potato pancakes to share and My friend got the GF French toast and I had the standard breakfast fare(eggs and sausage patties with biscuits and sausage gravy). The potato pancakes were pretty delicious, but the rest of my breakfast was very«meh». Nothing particularly special about it, and I didn’t like the biscuits. I was expecting thick, rich, and buttery biscuits. These were more like bread. My friend very much enjoyed her GF French toast, so that’s a plus. Overall, a decent place to grab a bite to eat if you’re out in the Issaquah area.

Local spot. Waited 10 min for a table on a Sat morning. Busy usually says good. Server was pleasant. Menu looked good. Lots of eggs, pancakes/waffles. Husband had the biscuit/gravy plate. I had Corned Beef plate. Bot of our meals were just okay. Nothing special and we would not get them again. But the peanut butter milkshake… THAT was good. I would come back for another milk shake. We may come try it again. Hope we like our next choices better.

Opened at 6:00. 25 minutes later still hadn’t taken my order. Only 4 folks in the restaurant. Paid for a coffee, as I was leaving I informed the waitress that she hadn’t taken my order to which she snidely replied«good luck».

Best breakfast in the Quah! They’ve got a large counter for seating so lone warriors can get their grub on and read a paper w/o the massive wait for a table that you see every weekend. Come early if you want a table in reasonable timelines.

This place doesn’t seat you unless your entire party is present, so there will most likely be a wait if you are there during rush hours. The hostess/waitress was very friendly; she greeted me and put my name down and then informed me the wait would be about 10 minutes. We were in a hurry, so we opted to sit at the counter instead, so we didn’t have to wait at all. I had the California Benedict with hash browns, which included spinach, tomatoes, and onions, instead of the usual. The two eggs were runny just as they should be and the hash had a nice crunch. I wanted to try their famous cinnamon buns, but was too full to do that, so I’ll have to visit again to do that!

Talk about a Northwest vibe from this place. It reminded me a lot of the Twin Peaks diner in North Bend… but good. We popped in here after a morning hike around 1 pm on a Tuesday, thinking it would be an off time. Boy, were we wrong, it was poppin’ in here. We were told it was 20 minute wait, but were actually seated in about ten. First of all this place serves breakfast all day — aka, the easiest way to my heart. The menu was large with a lot of choices. There were meat-based choices, egg-based, Mexican inspired dishes, and about five different waffle, French toast, and pancake choices, respectively. But we ended up with Bacon Waffles and a Hobo Omelette. Portions were big and hearty, a staple of American-style diners. They offer you three sides on most dishes, fruit, hash browns, or pancakes. I thought it was great there wasn’t an upcharge for pancakes. I left thinking about my waffle, but next time I think I might get the breakfast quesadilla. Service was fast and great! She honestly stopped by so much I ended up «accidentally» drinking four cups of coffee. The only thing keeping this from five stars is that while food was good it just doesn’t have the OOMPH you get when a place is so good, you think about for months. This place is like a breakfast diner on steroids — the food is actually good and the service is fast. Definitely a place we will stop by after a hike again.

The place is really cute — gives off a very cozy/homey vibe, especially with the fireplace and wood paneling. Honestly not the best-tasting food, but definitely above-average for the local area. Clear pros: Huuuge portions(with the option to get only half the amount for less $) plus a wide selection of all the bfast/brunch staples. I got half of the Popeye scramble with egg whites(which is an extra $ 1.5) — just OK, but I’d get the omelette version next time… too much potato & cheese left. My friends got the Chicken fried steak and the Triple Berry French Toast. From the pics, you can see how huge both were… Tasted like your average hearty brunch fare — not very special, but would come again since it’s among the best brunch places in the area.

Have been here twice and I can say the food has been consistent –both times very tasty but due to its popular nature, the service can suffer. The first time, there was a long wait but the food arrived quickly. The second time, the food took longer to come out and the wait staff was not as attentive to us. They were running good back to the kitchen due to incorrect orders or displeased customers. I ordered the California scramble w extra crispy hash browns as I did the first time. The sweet salsa really balances out the flavors but she forgot it and as I stated earlier, the staff not as attentive did not come back to us quickly. I was in a hangry state by then so it didn’t help, that’s why I waited to review. I’d go back and try out some of their lunch specials but pack your patience. I do like that they offer to fill your drink to go, could be a tactic to turn over the tables. 3 stars due to service which can be hit or miss.

Great meal and service The line was out the door when we arrived but a small local place with excellent service is worth the wait

We ate here once because our favorite hang out for breakfast was packed and overflowing. My honey doesn’t like to wait when he’s wanting to eat. So we decided to try this place instead since I’ve seen good reviews about them. I am not sure if the food was equal to where we eat breakfast normally. So I just gave this place an A-Ok. Not some place that I would say I have to come back to. We thought that it was pretty pricey.

Came here because of the great reviews. Not a 4 star restaurant by ANY measure. Standard american breakfast in a worn down(not dirty just not clean, old) strip mall. Came in, no one to greet me by the«wait to be seated» sign, so I sat myself at the counter. Waitress took my order and I observed. Saw food waiting under heat lamps to go out, frozen or thawing stuff on the counters… Got my California scramble. Eggs were good and fluffy but the hash browns and english muffin tasted awful, both soggy. At the end of my meal the waitress lost my debit card for a few minutes. Great. Won’t recommend to anyone.

Good breakfast and efficient service. they serve all the things you want in a café/diner. The earlier you arrive the better off you will be in getting seated. the wait can be quite long if you pass the 9:30am mark on a weekend.

A very nice breakfast place! The interior design reminds of of Christmas mornings, sitting by the balcony and enjoying a cup of steaming hot coffee. Very homey. They have a huge menu ranging from pancakes to burgers. I have tried both of their pancakes and french toast. I think that I prefer their french toast much better. It was moist and not too sweet. I love their warm maple syrup that comes with these plates. Most of the time they are pretty good with their service. It can get busy in the mornings, especially on the weekends, and the servers can be running around like crazy.

I generally avoid American breakfast type places but during one hungover Sunday after making the short jaunt from my home up to Costco, the wife and I agreed to give it a shot. First of all, there’s something very peaceful and quiet about this part of Issaquah on a Sunday morning, I took note of. Great place, as I mentioned to nurse a hangover. In any case, we both got our favorite American burger item: BURGERS and I’m not disappointed. I’m not disappointed in the service, atmosphere or anything else. Definitely your quintessential Americana diner. To be fair I wasn’t wowed either but for what they do… I enjoyed it.

Cute neighborhood café. A lot more seating than you’d think, but maybe call ahead or don’t come on a national holiday– there was a bit of a wait. The menu has the breakfast staples– French toast, pancakes, omelets. some other breakfast foods. They also have lunch items as well– burgers and sandwiches. I had the corned beef hash, half portion. I like that they have ½ portions, sometimes breakfast places can load you up on food, which some may find to be a good thing, but I prefer smaller portions so I don’t feel inclined to eat everything on my plate. It was delicious, the biscuit was fluffy and the corned beef was«real, not from a can» — their words not mine.

A Issaquah hidden gem. On our way back from TreeHouse Pointe, we stopped here for lunch. We got one of the breakfast plates and burger with fries. I always have to try the chicken fried steak and this often helps the rating, I rarely find a bad cfs. Everything tasted fresh, nothing was too heavy or unappetizing. The burger was cooked well, nice seasoning on the patty and the cook on it was good. A beautiful touch with the Tillamook cheese. It really enhanced the overall flavor and experience of the burger. Breakfast foods are quite easy, difficult to get this wrong. What really put this over the top was the chicken fried steak. Nice crispy skin, cooked well inside, the entire dish doesn’t go soggy from the drench of gravy. Gravy too was very tasty. I couldn’t have been more happier with our decision to pull into this nice country style restaurant. There was only thing, the service was a bit slow, it took longer than usual to get our order out, but I can let that slide considering how busy it was that day.

Bacon and Eggs walk into a bar. The bartender takes one look at them and says: ‘Sorry, we don’t serve breakfast.’ I love eating brunch! Came here on a early Sunday afternoon for brunch. It was pretty packed, but the wait wasn’t too long. It’s located in a strip mall/shopping area. The café has a homey feel to it, with salmon and NW memorabilia. I ordered the triple fruit french toast combo with half & half bacon & sausage and eggs(which is an extra charge, by the way). Did I mention I absolutely LOVE french toast! The food was okay, similar to other brunch spots. The fruits on the french toast were fresh. Service was okay. This place was pretty busy though on a Sunday. Prices were a little bit higher than your average Denny’s or IHOP.
